My iphone 5 dies at 50% battery, and our 4 chargers have all stopped charging within the same week. anybody know what could be the issue? its like our apples are having a major meltdown! help!
Help! My iPhone 5 has recently started to "die" at about 20 or 30% battery depending on where I am or how cold it is (i.e.it doesnt seem to die as fast with Wifi in my apartment but will drain so quickly and die at 40% battery life when i am at work. So today, my battery died at 56% YES 56%!!! GRRRRR. I have tried everything online articles tell you to do in order to conserve battery life. Also, our chargers have all gone caput this past week. I believe it is the adaptor as when the cord plugs into the computer it will charge. WT? All our apple products have gone berzurk this last week and I beg for an answer!! The phone is over one year old, along with one charger. But the other TWO chargers were purchased recently and they all stopped this week. Any guidance or help with fixing this the most cost effective way would be much appreciated!
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
Everything that cames in the box is included in the 1year warranty, unfortunately you're just outside of that warranty. Regardless, if the above troubleshooting does not resolve, take the device to Apple and they can determine if the issue is the device, the charger(s) or something else.

It sounds like it starting to charge, then suddenly stops over and over. This can happen if the cable or adapter is bad or if your charing port has an issue.
Try using a different cable and/or wall adapter. If the issue continues, it's probably the iPhone. If it does not continue, then it's the cable or adapter. Continue to swap to see what's bad.
If you don't have another cable or adapter to test will, take your iPhone and your cable/adapter combo to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. They can help you narrow the issue down and provide service as indicated. https://locate.apple.com/country -
I just brought it today and the guy decided to put a password on it without telling me so when I turned it off, I turned it on back again then I can't go in my computer because I don't know the password is there anything I can do so I can reset it?
Resetting User Password in Lion, Mountain Lion & Mavericks
Boot into your Recovery Partition by hold down the Command and R keys whilst booting.
When the Recovery screen appears, go to the Utilities menu and open Terminal.
In Terminal, type:
resetpassword
...a small app will open and allow you to choose the user for whom you want to change the password. If you are the admin, be certain that you choose your admin user. Type in your new password twice and give yourself a good hint. Click OK (or Done or whatever) and reboot, enjoying the use of your new, hopefully memorable, password.

This is happening to me also but only with certain apps. The message I get with the apps that won't update is "Update Unavailable with This Apple ID. This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled".

click on the contact which you want to integrate, click the edit button scroll down u will find a option called link contacts use it to link it to the duplicate contact

JoshThanks Eric, but it's not a power issue. Tried different chargers and usb cables in a wall outlet and computer etc. It doesn't seem to recognize that it is in fact plugged to a power source. I get the low battery icon w/ the plug + bolt icon as if it needs to be plugged in but it already is...

The friend who sold it to you needed to clear his Apple ID off the phone before he sold it to you. Of course if it wasn't his phone in the first place then he could not do so. He is your friend but you don't know where he is?
There is nothing that will help you short of getting the password for the Apple ID from your friend. If you cannot obtain that there is no workaround. -

Some people have had success only deleting everything in the cookies folder
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Cookies

I am getting weary of my iPhone 4s. The battery life is non-existent, secondly, I had problems with calls, the caller couldn't hear me and now it cannot detect internet networks. Be they Wi-Fi or cellular. what could be the problem?

hi there I as wondering is it possible to hot swap the HDD drive in my G5 into a 2.66ghz mac pro version 1.1 or will this cause issues given that one is a power pc and the other is an intel based machine?
