  • I got a blue screen and my I Phone 5 S (16MG)

I got a blue screen and my I Phone 5 S (16MG) it tries to start and it keeps rebooting but it will not start, and if it start it goes back to the apple screen and it stays there for a long time.
    I Phone 5 S 16 Mg. with system 7.1 instaled.
I Took it back to the store where I bought it from in Jeddah Saudi Arabia, but they claimed that I Plugged my phone for charging with other charging Plugs other than the provided ones , and that was not true of course .
They want to charge me more than 150 US $ to change my phone ….
Need your kind view of this.

A reseller might not swap the phone. Try an official Apple Store, you can tell that it's official because the employees will wear blue shirts with Apple logos on them.
Also, you can double check your warranty by going to this page and putting in your iPhone's serial number:

    Hello Lola51,
I would be concerned as well if my iPod was unresponsive.  I found a resource that I think would help in a situation like this.
I recommend following the steps in this troubleshooting assistant:
    iPod classic Troubleshooting Assistant

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

  • The mousepad lives its own life, help!!

My mouse jumps around and live their own life, it seems to say the least quite frustrating.
Just when I think I press "no thanks" to this or that, the mouse, ie coursen, jumped on the "yes"
Sometimes it is just small jumps coursen making, other times it is across the entire screen.
Even when I'm not actively control the mouse / coursen happens that it moves across the screen.
Then sometimes I would rather do nothing, but still make something.
It makes it a little at times, but for example. 3-4 days without and then maybe 30 minutes to 1 hour when it does it. Have tried MacKeeper where it finds an error during virus rubric, but have not bought it, so do not know if it can help? It is now worse, but since writing this post right now, without problems?
Have updated to Mac OS X 10.7.4, as it teased a period of 1-2 months ago but nothing has helped?
What can I do? If I reset my computer works again or is it something hardware does not work anymore? The computer is nearly a year old.
    Sincerely Lasse

Uninstall MacKeeper before you do anything. I'm not saying that it's the cause of your problems, but get rid of it nonetheless.
See - Do Not Install MacKeeper and How to Uninstall MacKeeper.
Get rid of it immediately. It is insidious malware.

  • Mid 2010 MacBook Pro: Will randomly blue-screen and Safari repeatedly crashes.

I bought my MacBook Pro in June/July of last year, and it has worked perfectly fine up to this point. However, for the past 2 months or so, my computer will randomly go to a blue screen and log me out. Also, Safari will crash several times (it had never crashed on me until the blue-screen problem started. Both of these issues surfaced at the same time). For the most part, the blue-screening problem only happens when I'm using the internet, but sometimes it will happen when I am offline as well. This is an infrequent/inconsistent problem, though. It will blue-screen and Safari will crash one week, but then it will be perfectly fine for the next three or four weeks. What's wrong/how do I fix it?

    Hi JRC8.8,
It sounds like you have been on the right track in trying to troubleshoot this issue. You may want to see if your MacBook Pro will boot directly to the Apple Hardware Test, as outlined in the following article:
Apple Support: Using Apple Hardware Test

  • I have a PB G4 that won't start. It shows the gray apple screen, shows the blue screen, and then the screen goes black, and "sleep" light pulses.

I have a PB G4 that won't start. It shows the gray apple screen, shows the blue screen, and then goes black. The sleep light pulses. From there, I can't turn it off normally. I have tried restarting the PMU. And I have tried unplugging the ac adaptor and removing the battery. From there I have plugged only the ac adaptor in, and it will begin to start but do the same thing once it shows the blue screen.
I tried only using the battery (without plugging in the ac adaptor) and the same thing happens. I tried starting the computer while holding down CTRL, Option, P, and R, waiting to hear the start up chimes 3 times, and then holding Shift as it starts up. But I still get the black screen once I see the blue one, and the computer's sleep light pulses.
I need something very important from this computer. And was able to start it last night. I did not shut down the computer, and was going to take it to a friends to use his printer today. The computer was in sleep mode in the morning.
    Thanks for any help!
    Gina

What your describing could be a logic board or memory issue.
You did or did not hear 3 startup chimes?  If you hear 3 chimes when you start it, that would indicate a memory problem.  Try reseating the memory to see if that makes a difference. If you have 2 RAM cards, try one then the other in each slot. If you have 1 RAM card, move it to the other slot. Powerbooks can develop one bad slot.
You may need to pull the hard drive out of the Powerbook, put it into an external case, then read it from another mac.

  • Upon start up I get a start up disk full message and to delete files, now I only get a a blue screen on start up. How to I get past the blue screen and how do I delete files?

Upon start up I get a "start up disk full message, delete files". Now on startup I only get a blue screen. How do I get past the blue screen and how do I delete files.

That;s really not enough free space... you can use a tools such as OmniDiskSweeper to find out where your large files reside and begin pruning (or copying to an external if they're files that you want to keep).
One thing is certain - if you're going to continue your current usage you're certainly going to need to install a larger boot drive.

  • I have a MacBook Pro, it recently started freezing upon startup. It would get to a blue screen and just sit there. I've tried booting in safemode to run disk repair and still doesnt help. If I do manage to get past the blue screen, it still freezes

My mac keeps freezing upon startup. It will get to the blue screen and promptly freeze. If I manage to get past the blue screen, and open up youtube on google chrome, it will freeze before it loads youtube. I've tried safeboot and disk repair, nothing seems to work. I even tried to factory reset it but it wont connect to my internet when I reboot with power + option.. any ideas?

This can be used to boot the machine and delelte enough files to get it to boot normally.
.Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
Read about storage drive so you can store your extra stuff.
    Most commonly used backup methods
Also here to see how a full boot drive slows the machine down
    Why is my computer slow?

  • On start up sometimes I get a blue screen and start up hang there

On start up I sometimes get a blue screen and it hangs there the only way to get out of this is to turn the iMac off at the back then when you turn it back on the desk top appears without going through the startup screens. Even had the blue screen when starting in safe mode.

Then run Apple Hardware Test in Extended Mode, it's possible you have a hardware issue. If you still can't locate the issue the next step is taking the machine in for a professional diagnosis at your local Apple Store or AASP.

  • Alternating light and dark blue screen on trying to start up

Today, on trying to restart after an Intego VirusBarrier update, I got stuck with just a blank blue screen alternating light and dark. I still can't restart on my internal drive, but after starting up from the install disc have managed to restart from a cloned OS 10.5.5 on my external drive. When I try to restart from the internal drive I just get the alternating shades of blue screen and nothing else - no error message, no question mark, just the pulsating blue screen - HELP!!!!

Thanks but that wasn't it. I replaced the battery and reset the PMU, still no luck. I've tried hooking up an external monitor still nothing, in doing all of this the person helping and I noticed that when you push the button on front to power up it doesn't light but I'm also not getting a start up chime, only the click of the hard drive then in pushing the button to power it off the light will blink and I think it is shutting down. Any other suggestions.
    Thanks

  • My imac just started taking a long time to turn on.  First I have a grat screen, than a gray world globe , a blue screen and finally my desktop.  A total of 4 minutes.  What is wrong and what do I do?

My IMac , just started, taking a long time to get to the desktop.  First I have a gray screen, than a gray screen with a gray globe, a blue screen and finally my desktop.  Takes about 4 minutes.  What is wrong and what do I do?

Once the desktop is up and the iMac ready to use, open Systeem Preferences (Apple menu) and click the Startup Disk item. In the new screen, make sure that OS X on your hard drive is selected in the top row - click it once to make sure. Then test.

  • How to start MacAir with frozen blue screen and no light on keyboard?

How do I start my MacAir with frozen blue screen and no light on keyboard?

    Hey 7manya,
Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing an issue with your MacBook Air frozen on a blue screen. The following resource provides some troubleshooting steps that may help to resolve your issue:
OS X Mavericks: If you see a blue screen at startup
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14061
If you see a blank blue screen or a blue screen with a colored pinwheel when you try to start your Mac, but starting up doesn’t progress, you may have a problem with damaged or incompatible startup items or software.
    - If you are starting up from a DVD, it must be a disc that came with your Mac or OS X retail package. Discs from other Mac models may not work with your Mac.
    - Restart your Mac in safe mode. If the Mac successfully starts up in safe mode, choose Apple menu > Restart to see whether the Mac will restart normally.
    Start up in safe mode
    - If you see the login window prompting you for a user name and password, but starting up doesn't progress, you may have incompatible login items.
If you think you have incompatible login items
    - Repair your startup disk or disk permissions using Disk Utility.
    Repair a disk
    - Back up your disk, then reinstall OS X.
    Reinstall OS X
    Thanks,
    Matt M.
