My iPhone was at 63% then suddenly died, it say its charging but still not turn on, what do I do??

I have tried everything and cannot get it to turn on, it comes up with the red battery icon saying its charging. But still nothing! Help!!

Do not attempt to force it to start after it has shutdown due to low charge.  Fully charge before using it again.  If it will not charge, try a different outlet, a different charger and cable, and if it still does not charge, take it to an Apple store genius bar for testing by the technicians.

    I thought that, but I put the sim card in another device that is not Apple and works. Definitely the sim card work, but no longer in my iPhone 5 or maybe in any other Apple device, i dont know why!! But i gonna get a replacement to see what happen

    If your iPhone is not charging while plugged into the wall adapter, then I'd like you to please follow the information outlined below to help resolve the issue.
    If the battery doesn’t charge
    If the battery doesn’t charge, unplug your device and try these steps:
    Look at the connector at the bottom of your device and make sure it’s free of debris.
    If you're using a USB power adapter, make sure it's plugged in all the way and the power outlet is working. If you're connecting to a computer, make sure it's on and can charge your device. To charge an iPad, you might need to use a USB power adapter and plug into a power outlet.
    Try a different USB cable, USB power adapter, or USB port.
    If everything seems to be working, reconnect your device and wait for 30 minutes.
    If your device still doesn’t charge, try to restart it while it's connected to power. If you can't restart, reset your device.
    Get more help
    If your device still doesn't charge or you still see an alert after trying the steps above, contact Apple Support.

    When i plug in the Iphone 5 to the wall and my computer it says its charging but its stays at 2%. When i plugged it in at night it was at 2% and when i woke up it said it was charging but still at 2%. Ive tried charging it with my mac but still says its charging and is still at 2%.     If the battery is actually at 2%, the iPhone would power off with a depleted battery fairly quickly.
    How quickly does the iPhone power off with a depleted battery after the iPhone is disconnected from a power source?
    Any change after powering the iPhone off and on, a reset which is similar to a computer restart, or after restoring the iPhone with iTunes?
    If no change after the latter, the iPhone has a hardware problem. The iPhone includes a one year warranty.

    yeah, 2 things you need to know is that your phone is a computer its good to turn it off some times to give it a rest. Also there is a multitasking feature of the phone. From the home screen double tap the home button and it will come up, this is all the apps you have running in the back ground. To close them out you need to hold one of them till they all start wiggling and there will be an x in the top left coner and if you hit that it will close the app from running in the back ground

    These steps should resolve the issue on your Mac:
    Double-click on the link for Uninstall Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 at Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers.
    Check if the Install link is now available in the Adobe Application Manager.
    If not, install and run the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove any traces of Premiere Pro. It can be downloaded from here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html.
    The Install link should now be available in the Adobe Application Manager.

  • After a notice of update, I was unable to use iTunes. It said I had a missing dll file and a Windows error 7. I removed iTunes and tried to reinstall. I selected the download items off the apple site. It says thank you but still not there.

    Having problems downloading iTunes. After an update notice, I was unable to open iTunes. I de-installed and attempted to reinstall it and it still won't open.
    The first error duirn the update was a dll file missing, then a Windows error 7. The screen on the Apple site say  Thank you for downloading, but still not there.

    A msi file is short for microsoft installer.  It normally is for installation, removal, and maintenance for a program. So iTunes.msi would be used for the updating of the program.  For some reason it isnt finding this so we can't update, install, or remove it.
    From what I have seen windows installer cleanup utility solved related problems before. 
    I found this forum about removing and installing a new iTunes.  It was about someone who was trying to isntall iTunes, and was looking for msi file and asked for help.   Using this should allow you to be able to install iTunes.  It won't give you the msi file but will allow you to isntall iTunes over again.
    This was what was said.
    Another option in case you can't get an msi. (Or even if you can ... the msi's mentioned in the messages may be damaged rather than missing.)
    Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
    Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
    After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
    If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
    Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    I had this problem at the start of september when it first came out but after changing my charger and cleaning the bottom part it started charging again.
    A few days ago I got the bottom exchanged becasue it was broken. Now my iphone says its charging when its not. If I turn it off and on it sometimes skips from 9% to something like 16 % or 20%. I tried plugging it into my computer and I tried using my dock and original chargers. Also it sometimes doesnt even register that sometings in it, it just doesn't react.My Apple warrenty has finished but I've got insurance at my bank. Does anyone know what I could do.

    Bring it to whomever changed the "bottom".  Having a 3rd party repair shop touch the phone has not only voided your warranty, but forfeited your right to any assistance with that phone from Apple, including this forum.

    My iPhone 5 would no longer charge past 1%. Then the other day when i plugged it in, it would turn on and the second it turned on, it would die. Then, the second it was dead, it would turn back on and kept repeating.  Then, after about an hour of that, it died and had the charging symbol.  It has been charging for about 12 hours and is still dead. I have changed cords several different times but nothing works.  Is there any other way I can attempt to fix this problem?
