My ipo will not let me download apps or sync them either.
There are a million ppl having this problem right now and it seems like Apple is ignoring it. It's been real bad since May, even worse that last week or so. Basically all we can do is sit and wait to see what excuse or help, if any, will be given. I've used a Walmart pre-paid card and I'm sorry, but who really incorrectly types a 3 digit number a million times?! Also my account is saying I owe iTunes $40 for in-app purchases. Bull!! My card sends me a balance twice a day via text and because of this, I know what, where, and how my money is being spent. Also it's pre-paid, how can you have an over draft?!?! Here's a real kicker though...my card balance is in the positive!!! Hmmm, obviously not a fault on my part, the part of my card, nor my iPod. It's all in the system!!!

This is what I posted on May 15th and it worked like a charm:
Just got off the phone with Apple Support. I have been working on this same issue for 2 weeks now. I was told to go to www.apple.com/support/itunes. Then under "Get Customer Service" choose ITunes Store Account and Billing. Then choose "Managing your account" option. You will see an option where you can email, choose this. This brings up a form that you need to fill out and submit. Just tell them that you have reviewed your account (assuming you have) and you see no fraudulent activities. Then ask them to enable your account. You should have your account enabled within 24 hours.......at least that is what I was told. I just filled out the form and submitted it. -
I tried to download a free app called SimSimi, and i checked the reviews. At the bottom, it said i have 10.00 left but will not let me get the app. This has gone on for 2 months!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

Can not get ipone to accept password for updates. I have changed the password at least twenty times and it still won't.
Touch or tap the field that you want to use/select and it should get a box around it ; then double-tap that field to activate/type it. Once you've entered your password you can do the same (i.e. touch to select, double-tap to activate) to gradually get into Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver and turn it off.
So to enter your passcode you first need to tap the 'slide to unlock' button to hightlight it (it should get a box around it), then double-tap it to unlock it. Then for your passcode tap the digit that you want and it should get a box around it; then double-tap that digit to type it; and similar for the other three digits in your passcode.
The manual (http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad) also that you should be able to switch voice-over off by connecting to your computer's iTunes :
Turn VoiceOver on or off in iTunes: Select iPad in the iTunes sidebar. In the Options section of the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access. Select VoiceOver, then click OK.
So select Configure Universal Access at the bottom of the Summary tab and set Seeing to Neither -
Whenever i try to download a free app, I click, "free", It then breifly says "installing" before requesting my password. After i put in my password, it does not install, but instead now once again says "free" but sometimes with a small "+" sign. Please help!
There are a variety of acceptable forms of payment. If you don't want to use a credit card purchase and enter an iTunes gift card. You will not be charged for free apps but you do need to have an acceptable form of payment entered at this point.

Go to this Apple ID site.

Click on Manage My Apple ID and sign in to your Apple ID.
Find that area that has your payment information.
Triple check to make sure everything is entered exactly correct.
Note that your billing address and name must match exactly the name on your credit card and the address to which your bill is sent.
If all these items are entered correctly and you still get that message contact your credit card company to make sure they are not blocking your use of the card on the iTunes Store. -
Help can't download or up date anything as when I put my apple id in ot say that this apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store tap review to sign in when I go on the page it ask me for my bank details which I dont want to put in thanks

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old

Have you used another account on your phone for iTunes match, automatic downloads or re-downloading past purchases : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 ? If you have then you will need to wait until the 90 days have completed before you can link it to another account - you could try copying the books from you iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) and see if you can then sync them to your phone
