My ipod has an error that makes a blue line when i get in an app what can i do ?
hi every single time i get in an app there apears a big blue line moving to every corner i dont know what can i do please help

IPod has an error that iTunes is not fixing.
Hey so I have my 5G 30GB iPod and when I turn it on I read the following:
"Connect to your computer, use iTunes to restore."
when I do this my computer goes through the process of restoring it but then the computer tells me to restore the iPod again.
This is odd only because I recently purchased my iPod and it should not be performing like this. Thanks to whoever can figure this out.

My iPod touch was stolen.. and recovered.. but the kid that stole it cleared my iPod and "made it his own".. it has a password that makes me unable to use it. (He won't give up the password). I have tried to do the restore thru iTunes but the "note" from iTunes says it is unable to restore without the current password.. is there anyway around this... HELP !
You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.

Try booting up in Safe mode (holding down the Shift key while booting). If the software came with an unistaller, use it to remove alll traces of the software - it's nothing that you need and, as you've experienced, can do more actual hard than good (as is the case with most software of this type). When you're booted in Safe Mode, if you can't run an uninstaller, at least check to make sure that there are no Trend Micro items that are set for automatic log in, at least.

i have updated my ios 5 to 6 but when the updating aur dowloading has comleted and i turned on the phone it showed a sign to connect to the itunes and then i connecte to itunes but i.tunes showed error that the server could not be contacted....now what i can do to resolve the problem????

Was the media actually moved from the old computer to the new computer? If not, how did you magically make the content appear on the new system?

If you've turned VoiceOver on then see if triple-clicking the home button turns it off, and then change what Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home is set to.

What kind of iPod are you getting to replace it? If it is an iPod Touch, and you are in the US, after you set up the Touch you can use the iCloud beta and download your previous music, books and app purchases directly to your Touch.
