My iPOD Is Messed Up!!! HELP!!!!
Ok...Last night I 4got to put my iPOD on sleep so it played for like 7 hours straight (At least I found out the battery really can last 14 hours without using the light) But anyway I woke up, charged it for like 30 minutes, It gave me like 80% then I listened to it during school and after school and when I got home it completely died out and it was just a broken battery on the screen!!!!! Now I tried to charge it but it wont charge and I dont know what to do...can someone tell me what to do?????
It should work properly only if your laptop is plugged in. Apple does not recomend you charge it when your laptop is running off the battery. Plus not all usb ports are powered... so that could be it.

My 30G video iPod's messed up and I can't seem to fix it - it started when my computer froze about 4 hours ago. I reset the ipod and disconnected it while the PC (I'm on XP) was still running but when I turned on again everything was gone from the machine, music, videos and everything. So I plugged it back in after resetting the PC and reloading iTunes, and iTunes seemed to add all its files to the ipod which took quite a while, but when I disconnected it still didn't work. I plugged it back in and rebooted it with the updater that came with the CD, then when I conneceted it to iTunes again the program registered it as the same iPod, with all the old files and everything even though I couldn't see it on the actual machine. So I disabled disk use and took it out - this time, the songs and videos appeared in their lists so I thought it was OK until I tried testing one of the songs.
The songs now do not play, instead rushing through the albums in seconds. All the songs have the little abr at the bottom going from 0.00 to 4.19 seconds (for example) but it just stays on 0 seconds and runs on to the next song on the list without making a sound. So yeah, that's my problem, and could anyone help? Sorry it's so long, I thought you might need to hear the whole story!
I've had the 30 gigabyte iPod video since christmas, and have been using it on a regular basis so I know all the functions and stuff pretty well.

MartynHmm, that's pretty nasty. I'm guessing it's all Windows. Windows freezing = total domination over iPod. Get the new software updater, and restore your iPod again, and see if that doesn't work. If it doesn't you might have to talk to someone from Apple (unless someone else here has any other suggestions).

ok i select th e music from my music libary and go to file and click sync to my ipod and when it gets to step 3.. it says waiting for changes to be made.. yes the songs play on the itunes .. and no it wasnt the same computer i used last time

You cannot use it. You would have had to set it up on your ipod itself before you lost it. Since you did not "turn on the icloud", then you have not set up find my ipod.

- Try using the Spotlight search. It is likely you just can't find it.
- Next try a reset. Nothing is lost

My iPod touch 4 generation 32gb sometimes is really slow.When ever my iPod is being slow and I get on an app the app will shut down. My lock botton is broken and I use the accesery botton to lock it. I have iTunes 10.6.3.25 and I can't find my audiobooks that I downloaded from a library website. The audiobook tab is visible in iTunes but none of the audiobooks are there. They are on my iPod nano. Please help!
When you say they are displaying in your iTunes library, are you talking about the Audiobooks section of your iTunes library and not the audiobooks section indented under the iPod in the left pane of iTunes under Devices?
Is the iPod Shuffle configured to sync audiobooks or do you manually manage the iPod's contents?

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod.... and follow the instructions. -
I have purchased podcasts on itunes and they show up in the podcast library,
but when I sync my ipod touch they will not go on to the ipod itself?
any help?Are you positive these podcasts are configured to sync to your iPod Touch? Have you double checked the configuration for podcasts from under the iPod's Podcasts configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this tab, plug your iPod in and click on its name from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the iPod's Summary tab. Locate the Podcasts tab along the top and select it. Here you can choose how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.

What happens when you try? Error message?
To activate you have to enter the ID and password last used for Settings>iCloud. In most cases the Apple ID is used for Settings>iCloud but not always.

Bluetooth mice require no adapters with Bluetooth built-in to our PowerBook model. If you were using a special adapter that plugs into your USB port in order to make your mouse wireless, then that is a Wireless USB mouse... which means that your USB ports are functioning in a way, but more malfunctioning than operating correctly).

Sorry. That's what the "D" option was according to the other manual I read on the internet. (I can't say it's name). If all else fails, that is the final step. A necessary repair of the logic board. (Odd that the Apple Hardware Test does not report any errors! It may not be necessarily logic board failure. That's why I recommend going to Apple... that is, if you have one near you. I have four close to me so I'm lucky. If you have the same luxury, get different opinions from each Apple Genius... trust me on that one).
