Yes you can drag and drop music to the iPiod if you select Manually Manage Music and Videos in iTunes.

Are you syncing the photos using Itunes?
When you plug your phone into your PC, in Itunes under the picture tab you can sync photo and then choose the photos.

Why do I get the message that the device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected when my computer shows it is connected and functioning ok ?
I was trying to send either photos or documents to my ipad via a usb cable conncted between my ipad and the HP computer.Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reboot the computer
- Try another cable and USB port
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I am trying to import my music on my old laptop to my new laptop using Home Sharing both computers are authorized however I can't seem to import due to an error message that says authorization is needed to access "the name of the song" Help.
If they were ripped from CD's there is no authorization.
Were they possibly purchased with a different Apple ID? If so, you'll need to authorize the computer for that Apple ID. -
I'm trying to purchase an app from the App Store but continually getting an error message that reads -"Unable to verify your device or computer". I can purchase apps from iTues with no issues at all, but not from the App Store. Any suggestions?

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.

What do I need to do to be able to upload articles to a folio again? Has anyone else ever received this message?
I'm trying to add any article to any shared folio, and I'm unable to do so.
I'm working on a new folio, and I wanted to start populating it with articles so I tried to add an article and I received the error message saying that I've reached my limit. But it seems unusual that I'm getting that, especially since the limit it mentions is "-1 articles." I've never seen this error before.
I've tried deleting entire folios that had about 20 articles within them and it still sends me the same message.
I have noticed that I am able to upload articles to an offline folio... but I don't think that's helpful to me right now. -

I have an Apple TV (2nd Gen) connected to Wifi Network (Airport Extreme 802.11n) I want to stream content from the itunes library on my macbook pro over the wifi network to the Apple TV. This works no problem, home sharing is set up and I can see the itunes library under 'Computer' on the Apple TV interface. I can use the Apple Remote to scroll through and play content from my itunes. Works no problem.
Now I want to use the remote app on my ipad mini to control the apple tv. Using up to date app (Version 3.01) Again, everything looks like it should work. I have turned on Home Sharing on the remote app settings. It works fine and both my itunes library and Apple TV show up on the interface. I can touch the itunes icon and control the itunes on my computer and play music and video on my computer screen.
Now when I touch the apple tv icon I can't see my itunes library content to play on the apple tv. I see the below image. If I tap on the icon in the bottom left it takes me back to the screen in the first image. What is the strangest thing is that I can control the apple tv using the gestures interface! This isn't what I want though and I want to be able to see the itunes library on the screen of the ipad and play it on the apple tv. You can see in the video on this link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvEpgcE9KCs). This is what I am trying to do and I just don't understand why I don't get the screen seen at 1:25 in the video. Instead I get the screen seen in the below image. Any ideas? I know that the remote app is connecting to the apple TV because I can control it using gestures, just strange I can't see the content on the ipad like in the attached video clip, instead I see the screen in the image below. When I go to sync my iphone 3gs itunes alerts me that an update is available. I check to download an update. I then receive an error message stating that I am not connected to the internet. I am 100% positive that I am connected and before this download I was instructed to update itunes which I did without any problems and restarted my computer. I have tried all of the troubleshooting suggestions. I have no problem syncing or using the itunes store. I just can't get the update. I also have no problems with my iphone connecting to a wireless internet connection. Please Help!!!!!!

or
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
- another cable and USB port
- Try on another computer to help determine if you have an iPod or computer problem
