Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi Demo, thank you for your suggestions.
I've tried updating in the following conditions:
1. "Over The Air" at one location;
2. On a Windows computer running the latest version of iTunes at the same location;
3. On Mavericks (10.9.4) running the latest version of iTunes (11.4 (18)) at another location;
4. On Mavericks, latest iTunes over a VPN with a server location in US;
5. On Mavericks, using a 3G connection shared from an iPhone;
6. On Yosemite developer preview with a previous version of iTunes at the same location.
I got the same results in most cases except for an occasional error with code 9; I'll try again in other conditions.
Interestingly enough, I've successfully updated my devices to iOS 7.1.2 and to iOS8 GM without any issues at the same location but, of course, no two conditions are exactly the same -

It's not uncommon for it to not work the first time and sometimes, you have to try it a few times. Turn off your antivirus software and your firewall while you are trying to restore the iPad. Enable them again after you restore.
If that still won't work, post back with detailed information as to what exactly does happen as you go through the process. -

Nobody can help me?Have you tried a hard reset yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. This may not work the first time around, so be sure to try this at least 2 - 3 times.
If that doesn't work, try connecting the device to your iTunes library in Recovery Mode and restoring it. See this article for instructions on getting your iPod Touch into Recovery Mode.

Your profile indicates you are running Lion v10.7 so you need to use Lion Recovery to repair the startup disk if necessary or reinstall Mac OS X. -

When starting up, Apple logo is present with loading bar underneath. No spinning wheel. After aprox 1 min the loading bar stops half way and shuts down completely. Any advice appreciated.
Which model MacBook Pro do you have (e.g., "15-inch Late 2011") and which version of OS X are you running?
You may want to try resetting your SMC -> Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC).

I made an update to my iPad and after the update it went to recovery mode. It wiped all of my apps off and now I can't add apps
When I try to add apps it doesn't do anything. I have connected to the computer to iTunes and it isn't syncing any of my apps to the iPad. I am not sure what else to try? I have turned the iPad off and restarted and nothing changed. I tried to download something from iTunes on the iPad and it isn't letting me.

Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3014, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network. -
Tried downloading iOS 6 on my iPhone 3G. Now my iphone is stuck with the loading thing for the iOS 6 and has been for almost 24 hrs. I've tried restoring it but it just goes right back to that loading page and now won't even turn off or restore. What's wrong and how do I get it back to normal?? Go to your purchased list in iTunes and download all your music to your iTunes library, as explained in the linked article. Then sync it all to your phone using iTunes you're done. The music will be stored locally on your phone and you won't have to download it again in the future. -
