My itunes wont connect to itunes store!!!!!!!!

JUST WHAT I SAID

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I suggest anyone who visits this thread redirect to https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3223139?start=0&tstart=0. • TS3297 itunes wont connect to itunes store, error 3221, uninstalled still same error?! HELP

I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes a few different times in the last hour. Its giving me the error code 3221, and ive been on the FAQ and nothing has worked. It wont connect me to the itunes store, and tells me my network isnt connected to the internet when I am, was wondering if anyone has any ideas.

My Itunes will connect, show the store, and let you browse, but when you try to make a purchase. It says "We could not complete your Itunes store request. The requested resource was not found. -- There was an error in the Itunes Store. Please try again later."
I"m really hoping this is a matinence thing on their end, and that it will be working in a couple of hours or less.

  • Itunes wont connect to the store using proxy

Ok so here is whats happening, we have a proxy server that requires authentication for the users to access the internet. this is done through an auto configuration script, after doing a diagnostic and seeing itunes said it wasnt using a proxy i assumed that was the problem and put in the proxy info manually and made sure internet worked as it was supposed to still (it did) however this didnt fix itunes but it now listed that it was using a proxy in the diagnostics.
previously when you opened itunes it would pop up the window asking for authentication however now using version 10.1 it no longer does this and just errors out saying it cannot connect to the store.
being that i am the admin here i can allow internet access without a proxy on a per IP case, when doing this the itunes store connects just fine if you disable the proxy settings, however the computer this needs to work on also needs the proxy authentication
so basically, does anyone know how to get itunes to actually use a proxy that requires authentication?

    Hello,
I think I found the solution, at last a solution that worked for me.
I had to set an option in the Internet Explorer (works in Versions 7 amd 8). I'm not sure about the correct translation, because I use the german languange Version of Internet Explorer, but ist should read something like this: "Use HTTP 1.1 for Proxyconnections" in the Advanced/Settings for HTTP 1.1-Section of Internet Explorer Settings.
Works well for us on 2 Machines and the behavior can be reproduced by checking/unchecking the option.
    Hope that helps, kind regards,
    Alex.

  • Ipad Disabled, I know my password, never sync'd it to itunes, wont connect to itunes...

Title technically explains everything but here is the story....
Some idiot at work tried to guess my password on my iPad; he tried enough times that it disabled it.
I have never sync'd my iPad to iTunes.
    I DO know my password.
I installed iTunes on my computer for the first time and now my iTunes wont recognize my iPad.
Keeps claiming that I need to enter the password to unlock it....
Little hard to enter the password to unlock it when it does not give me the option to enter a password to unlock it.
Please tell me that in 24 hours it will allow me to enter my password and unlock itself.....
Or there is someway to bypass the disable to unlock this machine....
Please do not tell me Apple wasted millions of dollars reinventing the same device for the last ten years and put a simple task involving recovery issues without complete factory restore on the back burner....
    In before....
You are going to have factory restore it....
You should have sync'd it to an computer via iTunes
You should have purchased a tablet from a reputable company.....

    Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
    Note: Data will be lost.

  • Itunes wont connect to itunes store-times out

I can use my itunes to listen to music just fine, it just wont let me access itunes store. The message I get is: itunes could not connect to the itunes store. The network connection has timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connects are active then try again... I have no idea why it quit working but it did! please help me!!!

There are three possible reasons that you would get a
    connection timeout trying to connect:
    1. The iTunes Store is really, really busy right
then. Try again later. If this happens all the time
(even times that should be calm, like late at night),
then this probably isn't the case.
    2. There's software on your computer that is
interrupting iTunes' ability to connect to the iTunes
Store. You can check for software conflicts by
    following the steps in this
    article.
    3. There's something up with your ISP that is
preventing you from connecting to the iTunes Store.
The best way to check for this is to try to connect
using a different internet connection. (Like, if you
have a laptop, using a public wireless access point.)
So the first two options didnt resolve it, what do you mean try opening with another? I have a laptop-so what should i do now?

  • Itunes wont connect to Itunes Store or Nike+?!?

Hi, first time on the forums, need some help. Im running windows vista, unfortunately, and I cant seem to connect to either the Store or sync my Nike+ data due to a network timeout error. Ive cleared my DNS, the cookies and cache, as well as checked firewall settings, and ran diagnostics within iTunes. This is what the diagnostics brought up for the network.

This is more a sharing your misery than helpful!
I, too, have had the same problem and I seem to have found every possible suggestion without any progress being made.
I tried contacting Apple iTunes and, frustratingly, they told me to try all of the fixes I'd already tried, including turning of Firewall and Antivirus.
Their second email asked me to forward diagnostic but I can't - because my laptop closes iTunes down as soon as I hit iTunes help!
The worst aspect of all this is that the Apple rep keeps telling me that "the issue is likely related to your Internet connection, local network, or computer."
Thanks Apple!!! I would suggest they'd give this more attention if I was running on an Apple machine but I'm left with an iPod Touch I can't sync unless I keep my old XP laptop.
Let's hope someone sees these emails and helps?
    Regards,
    Dave

  • Itunes wont connect to itunes/computer

Upgraded to ios 7 for the first time a couple of days ago, more specifically 7.0.4. When I tried connecting it to my computer, my ipad gave me a message asking me to either trust or not trust the computer, no matter which one I choose it leads to the computer making a sound that means a device has been disconnected but it is still listed under devices as 'Apple iPad'. It does not open in itunes at all.
I'm using the cable that came with the ipad. I've tried; every USB port on my computer, restarting the computer, powering down the iPad and turning it back on again, reseting the iPad's settings, running repair on Apple Mobile Device Support, updating iTunes, reinstalling iTunes, checked the cable(works with my ipod classic), using my other cable that came with my ipod and I tried going into 'Devices and Printers' to update the drivers. When I tried updating the drivers I went to 'Apple iPad' and went to the properties, I was unable to update the drivers as there was no option to do so. Strangely the manufacturer and model number were unavaliable, the only info in the properties was that the device model was an iPad.
Running Windows 8.1 and ios 7.0.4 (on a third generation iPad)
I'm out of ideas, any help would be VERY appreciated.

    Try:

    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
    And if necessary

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
