you can download the mac os x recovery hd and run the setup to a flash drive using another mac computer running os x 10.7,(so that while installation the os x setup can varify your computer's serial no. and provide you the installation setup through internet)
or the time machine backup(if you have)
Now boot through the flash drive and follow the steps to install mac os x

you are responsible for reinstalling any apps. It is not Apples responsibility as outline the the service agreement. Do you have the product key?

Apple recommends you change your Apple ID to your current, working email address. This will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address. See Changing the name you use for your Apple ID if you'd like more information.
Note: @mac.com and @me.com Apple IDs can not be renamed. If you no longer use the .mac or .me email address be sure to add your valid email address as an additional email address.

The 5D Mark II was first supported by Camera Raw 5.2 which is compatible with CS4+.
The 5D Mark III was first supported by Camera Raw 6.7 and 7.1 which is only compatible with CS5 and CS6.
So the CS4 will never be able to open Raw 5D Mark III files.

you need to be running OSX 10.7 or 10.8 to use iCloud i believe. It shows you are using 10.6.8 which doesn't support iCloud.

Ok, first time here, so forgive me if Im repeating the question. I just ordered a NEW iPad 4 32gb from Amazon, but is actually being sold by a seller called "iPadShop". Although this seller got a high approval rating of 4.9 there were several reports of customers receiving used and refurbished iPads but sold as new. Once I receive mine how can I verify it is new. Also, even the ones that were new were purchased by this seller and then resold, which shortened the life of the 1 year warranty offered by Apple..?

If you just ordered it, I suggest you cancel your order as soon as possible. If you can't contact Amazon, call your credit card company and cancel payment on that. Why go through worrying about the ipad you are paying for as new? If it's to save money, then that can be defeated if you get a used or refurbished ipad with a less than full one year warranty. You'll be dealing with the ipad shop's return policy which could mean that once you open it, it's yours, unlike when you buy from Apple you have a full 14 days to return it even if you've opened it.
I looked at Amazon and did not see a price difference. If cost led you to buy from Amazon, what are you saving?
I suggest you buy it directly from Apple. If cost is an issue, consider buying a refurbished ipad from the Apple online Refurbished store. I would not buy a refurbished anything from anywhere but the Apple online refurb store.

When I open an html file saved in UTF-8 format the 3-byte file header (usually hex EF BB BF) is shown as text at top-left. How can I avoid this - all other browsers interpret the header correctly and don't show it.

I write VB apps that create web pages for international sports scoring systems, and these must be able to show Latin, Cyrillic, eastern names etc. that require 2-bytes for some characters in the text. This means saving in UTF-8 to avoid 8-bit ASCII files being created. UTF-8 files typically have a 3-byte header = hex EB BB BF, and with all browsers except Firefox this header is interpreted and not shown. Firefox however always displays these characters as ï»¿ at the top-left screen position. What do I have to do the make Firefox recognize UTF-8 files, or do to my UTF-8 files to work properly with Firefox?

You see that UTF-8 BOM (Byte Order Mark) because of the content type specification in the page code.

If you need to change the primary email address associated with your iCloud Apple ID, see "How to change you Apple ID and primary email address" here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE68. If you change the name of your ID you will need to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your new credentials. Deleting the account will only delete the account and your synced data from your phone, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing accounts, you data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in. If you have any photo stream photos on your phone that are over 30 days old, save them to the camera roll before deleting the account (open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

Ran into the same thing here. Turns out you shouldn't be trying to watch them from iTunes - instead open the "videos" app and all of your purchses should all be there and play in full.

You don't find it on here, if the film is still in your country's iTunes store and if you are in a country where films can be redownloaded (and if the studio allows redownloading) then you should be able to redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes
If you can't redownload it then have you got a copy of it on your backup of your downloads ?

Your iTunes Store account has nothing to do with you each recieving the other's text messages on your iOS devices. What you need to do is seperate your iCloud accounts.
