My MacBook is stuck at the white screen with the apple logo
My MacBook was frozen so I decided to restart it but when I did it got stuck at the apple logo screen. I've tried entering safe mode but it just does the same thing I really needed my computer for a lot of things including some work so I really need help.
I was looking at this and it helped! http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570
1) Disconnect, test peripheral devices and network cables - didn't work
2) Perform a Safe Boot - didn't work
3) Reset the NVRAM / PRAM - worked, yay!

HI
this happened today suddenly while i was working on my iPad it kicked my out of the app that i was using then white screen with black apple logo came out, i thought it was an ordinary thing cause this happens all the time with me, but this time it refused to turn on! After the white screen with the black logo vanished i wad waiting for my lock screen but no, a black screen showed up just like that! And could tell it was black "lighten" screen i tried more than 10 times to do the home+power thing but it wont work, whats wrong with my ipad!If the battery is completely drained it may take some time while on the charger before the iPad responds. Plug the iPad into the charger that came with it and plug that into a good wall outlet. Wait one hour. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is 100%. If it doesn't start up make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. They will examine your iPad and explain your options.

my 27 inch 2011 iMac is not boting up, the cumputer is stuck on a grey screen with no apple logo or spinnign wheel. The iMac is not giving power to the keyboard as it is not ligthing up the caps lock botton when pressed.
Contact Apple Service, iMac Service or Apple's Express Lane. Do note that if you have AppleCare's protection plan and you're within 50 miles (80 KM) of an Apple repair station, you're eligible for onsite repair since yours is a desktop machine.

White screen with gray Apple logo.
Could anybody help me? i bought my MacBook, about 3 months ago and never had any problems with it, 3 days ago i want to restart it after i tried to make an actuallitation... so when i did it just appears a white screen with gray apple logo, and no timer going... i look for help here in the apple discussions, and some guy seem to have the same problem... i did just what the other user recomended, i insert the original cd, while press the C key, and went to disk utilities on the bar on top, and clik on Repair Disk. When i did it appears a list of things that says:
Verify and Repair volumen “Macintosh HD”
Checkin Journaled HFS Plus volume
Checkin Extents Overflow file
Checkin Catalog file.
Checkin multi-linked files.
Checkin Catalog hierarchy
Checkin Extended Attributes file
Checkin volume bitmap
Checkin volume information
The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK. (Font in green)
Then i didnt know what to do so i restarted and after that it appears the same White screen with gray Apple logo.
If somebody can help me, i will apreciate it, Thanks.Your system info shows you are using OS 10.1. How is that possible if your Macbook is only 3 months old? You will need to correct the information if incorrect & insert the correct information.
After disconnecting all periperals try Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM. If that does not work try Apple Portables: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Since you are still under warranty, you can contact Apple about the problem if the solutions do not work. -

Hi Haziq0135,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your MacBook Pro is starting up to a gray screen with a Apple logo and a spinning gear. The article linked below provides a lot of great troubleshooting suggestions that should resolve issues like that.

Iphone stuck on white screen with black apple logo
I was updating my Iphone 5 to the new update and left it plugged in to finish the update. When I came back it was stuck on the white loading screen and a message on the computer said iTunes could not connect to the Iphone because it was locked with a passcode and wants me to enter the passcode. However I cannot enter the passcode because the phone won't let me. I cannot get the iphone to shut off or restart as my top button hasn't been very responsive lately. Any suggestions I leave the country for a month on the fourth and need a working phone asap.
You should contact Apple. There is a replacement program for defective power buttons.https://ssl.apple.com/support/iphone5-sleepwakebutton/

nephew had mutliple tabs open and shut down the iMac by hitting the button on the back instead of closing everything corectly. Now the only screen i get is the white with apple logo and the loading circle icon. i have attempted restart and c key with disk in but cant even get a menu to come up. What can I attempt from home before having to haul this into the store?
wireless keyboard and mouse were working prior to safe mode attempt, i was able to eject disk. still waiting on the safe mode restart. I'm not sure what I should be looking for to confirm safe mode and what the screen should look like if successfully processing. it seems to be putting off a lot of heat. BRB

macbook was frozen, did a hard shut down, when powered up it is stuck on a white screen with a rotating dial
Sounds like the 'white screen of death'.
Try rebooting your phone. Take the battery out for a few minutes then re-insert battery and see what happens. It may take some time to reboot. There have been numerous "fixs" for this problem, but until RIM come up with a definitive answer to stop it happening, then really theres nothing we can do except try some things. The battery pull has been offered on a few forums and some say it worked for them. Worth trying again.
You could always try THIS
but that seems a bit extreme, but may work if the reboot doest. Do you remove the battery whilst its still on? thats how you normally do a reboot. take batt out whilst powers on. Sorry if this doesnt help, but i know theres people all over the net that get this issue. -
my macbook pro won't turn on. it just stays stuck on a white screen with a little circle spinning around and around when you power it on. i don't know how to get it to progress past this loading page.
Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Reinstalling Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
If you are not using Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks then use the following procedure:
Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1. -

My MacBook Pro fell and now when I turn it on its stuck at the apple logo screen with a loading circle underneath it. What can I do to get passed this?
Sounds like something internal was damaged in the fall, probably the disk drive. Take to Apple and ask them to fix it.
