My MacBook Pro scratches the CDs then my computer can't read them! Can this be fixed?

When the computer's flat or not, my CD's get scrathced up. The computer was purchased in Septmber and there wasn't CD issues but now it wont read them after computer scraches them up.

From what you describe, there is nothing else to do than to replace the optical drive. Since your MBP is over 12 months old, if it is not covered by Apple Extended Care you will have to pay for the repair. It would be less expensive to buy an external drive - but of course that is not a convenient thing to have to carry around.

What DVDs are this ?
If it is OSX Snow Leopard Installation DVD then yes this disc contains the BootCamp Drivers version 3.x and is needed after the installation of Windows to install the BootCamp Drivers.
With OSX Lion BootCamp is at version 4.x and the BootCamp Drivers have to be downloaded during use of the BootCamp Assistant in OSX.

That is usually caused by a missing unpack directive (<em:unpack>true</em:unpack>) in the file install.rdf of that extension.

I have pages 09 version 4.1... It is a small aggravation.. The left 3 or 4 characters on the return address would not print until I realized that by clicking on
" View " & " Show Lay-Out " that it was out side the printable range ...

It seems to be a Pages template " Print range " issue.. Both the Epson and the HP printers were doing it and it was today that I realized why.. !!

The problem is with facebook, go to settings / facebook / your user name and delete your account, the do a hard reset (home+power for some seconds).

Click the little cloud icon next to the track to download the complete track to your hard drive, rather than playing a sample from the itunes store. I had the same problem until I figured this out...

My history restore function does not work - neither a saved history nor the dated entries the browser saves. How can this be fixed?

I carefully and specifically used the backup function in an attempt to backup my history before I cleared it to try to fix another problem. However, on trying to restore the history, I instead found out that only the bookmarks had been backed up and my history was lost. Why be so cruel as to offer what seems to be a history backup but in reality is not?
Yes, I should have used FEBE, but since there was a button and menu on the "Show all history" library, the implication is that it is the history, not the bookmarks that are being backed up. That's irresponsible at best.

There is an extension to backup the history, but as far as I know there is no way to restore history once deleted unless you would restore a copy of the places.sqlite file that has this history.
