My magic mouse turn color on the inside? It was 2 years old magic mouse, and today I found that it looked like a boiled egg, has yellowish spot on the middle. What to do?

Hai, I had been using my magic mouse almost two years now. I may not the cleanest user, i admit. But today, i found that my magic mouse looked like a boiled egg, it was yellowish spot on the inside, I don't know why, it works fine. But i'm just worry there had been some some electricity problem on the inside.

I had this happen as well. after I replaced the batteries it went to acting strangely. Same thing on glossy surfaces only.
This happened once before, and I thought it was broken, and just like pepi70 I think I remember an accidental drop fixed it before, wondering if I should drop it again, I have already tried banging it lightly with my hand to no avail.
Maybe more people have had this problem but didn't think to try it on glossy surfaces. Very strange it only works on glossy...
Anyone find a good solution?

First sign out of everything,
Second make sure you know the current password
Third got to id.apple.com
Fourth use said password and your hotmail account to sign in then change the primary

Installing Lion would not cause the superdrive to stop working. Are you unsure as to whether or no a cd/dvd is inside? Something may be broken inside and you should consider bringing it in for service.

Hi, thank you very much for your reply. No my phone was never been jailbreak-ed. Never been dropped in water or in any wet surface. Dropped on the floor while texting yes, but it was just a one time incident, last year august i can clearly remember, but after that no more (phone still works fine even after.) restored the phone again earlier, but problem still occured. Will try to go to Apple also to ask and have it checked. Just worried because my phone is already out of warranty. Will keep you posted. Again, thanks. If you have any more advice just let me know. It would mean a lot.

This is what the font turns it into (it's supposed to say Chrysler Building & New York Public Library). The font came with Pages which is what I'm working in. It worked before but isn't now.

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

ONLY Apple could answer this.
If they determine that the ipod is defective, then warranty will cover it.
If they determine that it is damaged, then the warranty will not cover it.

My iPAD 1 just changed its background color to red. The unit is 3 years old. Is something breaking? Time for a new iPAD?

I am wondering if my iPAD (1st generation) has a major problem since the background color recently went to red?
The unit still works, but the appearance makes me think something is wrong and can only be fixed by buying a new iPAD.
Has anyone had this strange color change and how did you handle it?

Unfortunately, the red color persists and even beyond that there are some odd colors while the unit is in use.

If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. SOLVED Ok. I actually was able to disable it. I had to actually log in as the guest user to make it accessible in the preference window. Then I disabled it and logged out. Apologies if this was obvious for some people, but I have had some sort of issue with something every update since Snow Leopard.
