My mail account on settings is frozen up it won't let me click on it

Did you check Settings/General/Restrictions, if changing account info's is restricted?

The I cloud on mu IPAd keeps reverting to my old password so that I cannot get mail. Sometimes this happens on my iPhone as well. I type in the correct password in the iCloud account and mail account under settings but it always reverts back and preventsme from getting mail. Can only retrieve mail from i cloud on my competer. Why would you delete your iCloud account for a password change with your Yahoo account?

My iPhone was fine earlier today, but in settings....it won't let me access iCloud, FaceTime, mail settings.....what the heck? I've tried everything. My iPad is fine and iCloud etc. works!
Turn OFF the restriction to allow changes to accounts you've set in Settings > General > Restrictions.

I would recommend force closing all open apps on the iPad, then restarting the device. If necessary, it may be helpful to reset your iPad.

My parents just bought an ipad. Their apple ID is correct in all the places except in the iTunes and App Stores settings. It won't let you click on the Apple ID to change it. What should they do?
Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

In the middle of the ipad a box says (icloud backup) This ipad hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi. It is frozen. It won't let me do anything. You can see the apps behind the box. help what do I do?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

My iphone4s is frozen up and won't let me scroll down to the accessibilty tab or anything and is reading me off everything that it is doing. I also have to double everything to get it to work (scrolling with a finger can't happen right now). I can receive and send messages, but I want to delete e-mail account and add a new one, but it will not let me in settings. It will not let me select the account or add an account.
Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo.
Barring any success after a reset, then I suggest that you delete and add the email accounts that you want in the mail app that you use on your computer and then sync those email accounts to your iPad. After attaching your iPad to the computer, in iTunes on the Info tab go to the bottom and in the advanced section check the box to replace the email accounts on the iPad with those on the computer. -

I have two partitions on my internal hard drive - one is running Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and the other is running Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. Mail (5.0) is set up and runs perfectly on the Lion partition and I have not used Mail (4.5) yet on my Snow Leopard partition. I want to know if I can read, download, and save mail into the same user Library folder (probably the Lion user library) from both partitions...
You usually set up your mail accounts on a specific e-mail client programs such as Mail in OS X and Mail on an iPad, which will access the same remote mail server to have your messages show up on each device. Mailboxes can be synced in this way between two devices.
An alternative is to use the same remote application such as Gmail to access that service from multiple devices, so a dedicated e-mail client like Mail is not needed, but the availability of these depends on the e-mail service being used. -
My IMessage is sending from my email, and I am recieving
Messages thru my email. I have tried to fix this by going to Settings > messaging > recieved at> and my phone number pops up along with my email. It will let me click on my email, but my phone number is greyed out and I can't click on it.i have also tried caller id, which still didn't fix the problem.
Trying to kill two birds with one stone, my phone also says that I have no storage left. I literally have 3 apps installed on my phone. Facebook, Twitter, and instagram. I only have 52 photos, 0 videos, and about 115 songs. I know for a fact that I shouldn't be out of storage, because I have friends with the same iPhone 4, that have 400 pictures, a thousand songs, and page after page of apps. I restored my iPod touch 4G to get iOS 5, I want to restore it to my setting's I had before, so I selected "restore from iTunes backup" on the ipod. "connect to iTunes" on the new set up screen on the ipod. But I already restored it to my previous settings from iTunes. I have tried connecting it and re-syncing it. I am completely lost on what to do. It won't let me do anything! Help?
