My music is so messed up i have 3 copies of some things and cant get other things to play?

I just happened to buy a new computer within a week of starting icloud. My music is so messed up, I have 3 and 4 copies of some folders and some songs listed wont even play. I cant find one spot where all my music is listed. I'm so lost. Its messed up on my pc, iphone and ipad. Please someone help.
My pictures are the same mess but I'm more worried about my music since my pictures are also on a thumb drive.

If you still have your old computer with your iTunes library on it, copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the music folder) from your old computer to your new on (replacing the folder on it now) using one of the methods explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527.

That's not a problem. You can connect multiple iPods to your computer at the same time, and each one appears separately in iTunes.
If this is the first time you are using iTunes 11.x, the sidebar (along left side of window) may not be visible. If so, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
Make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the shuffle, if your old shuffle is a different type (2nd gen). When connected, it should appear in the sidebar, under DEVICES. If you connect both shuffles at the same time, they should both appear under DEVICES.
If that does not happen, please post back.

HELP! HAVE SOMEHOW ACCESSED IPOD 'HARD DRIVE' and CANT GET BACK TO MY MUSIC

I just turned my ipod on, and instead of the usual menu, it came up with a BLACK AND WHITE SCREEN, and OPTIONS SUCH AS 'RESET,' 'ACCESSORIZE TEST' and 'SLEEP' (as well as a few others) panicing, I kept pressing buttons to try to get myself out of this, (it directed me to press menu to cancel) only somehow I have got myself into the 'accessorize test' and it now says

I have no idea what has happened, but the closest thing that it seems to be like is when you access the set up system menu of a computer...I am very scared that I will have lost my music etc, and I was wondering IF ANYONE OUT THERE has any idea what I have done and what I can do to solve the problem...any advice will be MUCH appreciated!

You accessed the DIAGNOSTIC iPod feature....
You will want to push the MENU plus the ENTER buttons at the same time...that will reset your device to "normal mode"

Have an early 2011 MB Pro and cant get AirPlay

I have no Icon for air play and just bought my appletv and get airplay on everything but the macbook and I know its an early 2011.

My old ipad was replaced from the apple store with a new 1st gen ipad. I plugged it into 2 different computers (windows 7 and windows 8) and it was not recognized by the computers or itunes. I updated to the newest itunes on both machines. The ipad is charging but it only shows a "connect to itunes" icon. Please help.

When the AirPort Extreme is in DHCP and NAT mode, it is the product that is controlling the number of devices that can connect to your network......which is around 200.
When the AirPort Extreme is in Bridge Mode....it is your "modem" that is controlling the number of devices that will be allowed to connect to the network. Your modem is not really a modem, it is a modem/router or gateway type of device.
If everything seems to work OK with the AirPort Extreme in DHCP and NAT mode, you do have the option to click to "ignore" the Double NAT error, and the AirPort Extreme will display a green light.
Double NAT occurs when there are two devices...your "modem" and the AirPort Extreme....on the network and both of them are trying to control DHCP and NAT at the same time. Normally, you only want one device on a network providing DHCP and NAT service.
In order for your modem and AirPort Extreme to work correctly, it is the "modem" that needs to be set up in Bridge Mode, so the AirPort Extreme will supply DHCP and NAT services for up to 200 devices.
That may, or may not be easy to do, and your ISP may not support your "modem" in that type of setup.
It is up to you to decide whether you want to try to set things up correctly, or leave well enough alone.

Oops, I forgot a step between 7 and 8 ... before syncing the iPhone I need to explicitly send the document back to iTunes on the iPhone, or the changes won't come over at all ...
and then one more thing ... Numbers on iOS does NOT recognize a number of key features of the OSX app, such as conditional formatting ... so after editing my document on iOS and syncing it back to OSX on my Mac, all of those settings are lost (no more conditional formatting, have to do it all over again)

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

When you connect your iTouch to iTunes, open the device by clicking on the iTough button on the left of the screen (do this after you've backed it up). Then when open, you can go into apps, music, photos, etc and check or uncheck whatever you want on your iTough. The same applies to your iPad. After backup, you open the device and check what you want on the iPad.

AirPlay Mirroring is supported on your Mac, but it needs OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404
You have two possibilities:
1. Make a backup, open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion to upgrade to this OS X. Then, you will find the AirPlay Mirroring icon at the top right of the display, on the menu bar, or on System Preferences > Displays.
2. Keep OS X Lion and use AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
Both options work properly, but I recommend AirPlay Mirroring as it doesn't need a third-party program

The Apple TV (with the exception of the Apple TV 1) does not sync, it streams everything from your library on your computer or from the internet.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
