My new ifone has detected my internet router but when I enter the network key info it cannot allow me to join the wifi
My new ifone 4s has detected my internet router but will not recognise the network key and therefore will not allow me to join the internet. Can anybody help?
Reboot the router by unplugging it for at least 30 seconds, then plug it back in and try it again.

I wanted to know if I want to email or receive my emails on my 3G Wifi I Pad, do I have to call Verizon and set up a plan to do so. I am new at this and I thought when you were able to pick up WiFi all you had to do is just use your gmail.com to retrieve and send. PADDYYou can send over WiFi, but it sounds as if you need to setup your Gmail account, or did you do this already?

I tried powering down and re-starting the iPhone (as suggested at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275). This seems to have cleared the "...not connected to the Internet" problem, and iOS 6.1 is now in the process of downloading.

I have a sync key, and have a new computer terminal, but when I enter the account details I created, it syncs nothing with my new computer. How do I fix this? There is nothing showing up when I sync with the sync key from my old terminal.

You are probably trying to use old Sync with Firefox newer than version 29,
and they did make old Sync unusable on fresh installations of newer Firefox.
You can uninstall that newer Firefox, then install Firefox 29 from here:

Apply your sync key code, then update that installation to current Firefox,
then migrate to new Sync:

i tried transferring my iphoto library from my old macbook onto my new macbook pro (via external hard drive), but when i open the new iphoto, it seems to have transferred ALL images ever used on my old macbook. so i tried to just delete all those images so i could try a different approach to transferring, but the new iphoto won't let me do anything and every time i try to delete anything it crashes (since the image amount is so high). please help!!

Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else. -
Can't figure out why colors don't totally change when you select type with curser? It looks like it has by looking at it, but when you highlight the area after the old color is still there. It happens with objects to. Driving me NUTZ. Help!
Select the text, and open the Appearance palette (Come on guys, text highlight is irrelevant, it happens to objects too says the OP), and see what's listed there. For a simple text object, there should only be a line item "Type", followed by "Characters", and when double-clicked the Characters line item expands to tell you the stroke and fill color. For a basic object, there should be a fill and/or stroke.
What happens sometimes, is that you end up adding extra strokes/fills to objects or text, and the appearance palette is where that will be noted. Especially when you are dealing with groups, and/or picking up a color with the eyedropper, you may inadvertently be adding a fill or stroke on top of something. You can drag those unwanted thingies from the Appearance palette into its own little trash can. -

The apple store has changed my I broken Iphone to a new one. But when I got it, i did not have all my purchased songs and apps in it.
You will need to plug it into your computer and re-sync them from iTunes. The iPhone is meant to be synced/backed up to iTunes on your computer on a regular basis. It is NOT a primary or backup storage device.

Your access might be restricted if you set it up with users.. you must log in with the correct user to get access to the files.
Otherwise you should be able to see both sparsebundles just with finder.

I have a router downstairs in my house. When i go downstairs, i have internet. But when i go back upstairs, i lose my internet and my ipod cant connect to the internet untill i go back downstairs. Can someone help me with this dalema?
Have the same problem with one room in my house. The good news; my internet provider told me about a device which boosts the signal through the the houses wiring. You plug the sender into an electrical outlet and your USB output, the receiver / transmitter you plug into an outlet in the room with the poor signal and use Wi-Fi as always. It priced in around $30 to $40. The bad news; I just don't remember what it was called, but I'm sure if contact your provider or local electronics store, discribe what your looking for they can hook you up with the needed hardware. I just bought the new MacBook Air a few days ago and my Internet connection is so slow. My iPhone's connection works fine when connected to the wifi but the MacBook connects for a few seconds then drops completely. What do I do? I tried connecting it to my phone's hotspot and it works perfectly. I'm a new Mac user so I have no idea what to do. I have Comcast xfinity cable and Internet. Thanks for the help.
