My new IPad 2 mini its dead. Cant be on. Its working for two days and now I cant make it on. How and what I need to do?
I got new I Pod 2. Two days was working perfect. At the one moment it was off. Now I cant make it on. Its dead. Can you help me?
Make an appointment at your local apple store and have them look at it.
Have you tried to charge it? Plugged into the wall with the supplied power brick. If the battery is dead it'll remain off until it gets enough power to turn on.
So before you try the apple store you can try plugging it in, maybe over night, and see if that helps. If that doesn't, make the appointment and let the pros look at it.

Why can't I download apps I have to pay for on to my new iPad Mini. I have had an Apple id for my iPhone for years and have downloaded app to it, no problems. When I try to download apps to my new iPad Mini, it tells me my billing info has to be confirmed. After confirming with same info that is already there it tells me to contact support, no help up to this point.
Could the credit card be expired?
Beyond that, what you need to do is contact iTunes support, they can tell you exactly what is wrong, none of us here can do that.

I can't lock screen on Ipad mini. My lock screen button is working for shutdowning Ipad, but don't working for lock screen. Also I tried to lock screen from Assistive Touch and it's not working. When I click lock screen on assistive touch it nothing happens.

Upgraded new iPad to iOS 5 after successfully using the machine for two weeks. The apps I downloaded are still here, checked for updates, all okay. However, when I try to use iBooks app or even USA Today, icon shakes, settles down then nothing else happens. Several tries, settings appear correct. Suggestions? Safari operates correctly, music icon matches (not from iTunes, simply music on my MacPro and iPod). Is Cloud the issue, perhaps? But everything worked before the upgrade. Using my home network. Hope this info suffices. Appreciate any guidance.
Problem solved. Saw the solution in a more recent post. Downloaded a free app, then all my other apps started to work again.

I have bought the wireless keyboard for my iPad. I was working for a day but now the power light won't stay on and as such won't connect to the iPad. I have changed the batteries but still no difference.
Not knowing which wireless keyboard you bought, it is difficult to be specific. but ...
it is quite normal for the keyboard's power light not to stay on - it is a way of conserving battery power.
Try this:
turn you keyboard off
on your iPad go to Settings > Bluetooth
if your keyboard is listed under Devices, then touch the little blue i to its right and choose Forget this Device
now reset your iPad: hold both the Home and Power buttons down for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, let go promptly when the Apple logo appears and wait another 30 seconds for your iPad to turn itself on
After your iPad is back on again go back to Settings > Bluetooth
now turn your keyboard back on and see if it appeard under Now Discoverable
if it doesn't read your keyboard guide to figure out how to put it into Discovery mode
touch the listing for your keyboard under Now Discoverable, it should now appear under Devices
touch the listing for you keyboard under Devices, and choose to pair with it. -
Brand new iPad Mini Retina- dead out of box
Just got a brand new ipad Mini retina and it won't turn on. Have tried all kind of reset button combos and nothing. Any suggestions or is it really dead? Have an appt at Apple Store in the morning, but would love to resolve it before then.
It's possible that its battery is totally dead. Try plugging it in and let it sit for an hour or two and see if there are any signs of life. Even if it does come back, I would still keep that appointment and get it checked out because normally iPads have a charge when you unbox them.

Brand new iPad Mini Retina won't charge when its connected to my PC
I just opened up my brand new iPad Mini Retina and attempted to plug it into my PC and set it up. The iPad quickly recognizes my PC, briefly displays the charge symbol then immediately displays "not charging." I have attempted to plug the iPad into the wall, and it charges just fine. All the cables I'm using are straight out of the box which I bought right from the Apple Store so I know its not any of those. My laptop is fully charged and also plugged into the wall, so I know its not my computer. I also double checked everything by plugging my iPhone 5 into my computer (with the new iPad lightening cable) and it charges/syncs just fine. Im stumped, please help me fix my brand new iPad Mini Retina.

Brand New-Ipad Mini updated tonight to ISO 7.0.4 wont connect to WIFI now Help!!!
Help please, Ipad mini brand new only two days oldd, has been working fine on WIFI, updated tonight to ISO 7.0.4 and now the WIFI wont connect. I kow it's not the WIFI as my ipad, Iphone and Imac working fine with WIFI. Have tried reset, reset netwoks no luck. Have Hotspot it up to my phone and works fine so it's definaty a propblem with the update. Help please!

I ALSO CANNOT GET MY IPHONE TO SYNC NOW, KEEPS CANCELLING SYNC, AND IM NOT CANCELLING IT OR ACCESSING MY PHONE WHEN IT DOES IT.
Help me!It is sounding like there IS no help for any of us. It also appears that our problems with the upgrade are not consistent. You cannot make calls/texts. Troyfromencinitas has lost his texts. I lost all of my music and cannot get iTunes to sync my phone (it self cancels after step 6) to get it all back. The upgrade also rendered all of my apps useless (they'd come up for a flash and then revert to the home screen again).
I went through support last night and - as Troy-from-Encinitas said - you cannot return to the OS before your upgrade and everything I was told to do did NOT work to restore sync ability. The last suggestion was to uninstall iTunes and reinstall. If I do this, I lose the organization of 14G of music and ALL of my playlists. So, he suggested instead that I erase all of my apps from iTunes and redownload them from the iTunes store. Since they were closing in 15 mins and the download was going to take a while, he suggested I get ahold of them again this morning if his idea didn't work. It didn't. I ended up just downloading them from my phone so I can at least have my Kindle back.
Now, there is no way to get ahold of anyone today so have made a call appt for tomorrow morning to try again. I am WICKED ****** about this but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it short of buying a new NON APPLE device. ARE YOU LISTENING APPLE?? iOS 5 is rendering Apple devices USELESS!! Sigh. -
New iPhone 5, worked for two days then screen went black.
Plugged the phone in to charge, it was working, unplugged it to move it and the screen had stopped working. Like it was dead. I could still hear the phone so I knew it was still functioning. Did a soft reset, nothing, no apple logo, nothing. Turned it off. Nothing. Restored it through iTunes, nothing. Should I take it in as it seems to be a hardware issue as opposed to a software problem?

Display has no backlight or dark screen
Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.

Why won't my apps download on new ipad mini?
My apps will not download on my new ipad mini? They remain in the "waiting" stage for days. have tried deleting and re-downloading one by one, but have not had any success.
I was having the same problem and I tried the following and now everything is working fine:
Reset Network Settings. Resetting your network settings is a fast, easy way to trouble shoot your WiFi connection issues on your iPad Mini, and also on your iPad and iPhone as well. Resetting your network settings allows your device to flush out all cache information from your wireless network, DNS and nameserver settings, etc… basically it allows your device to start fresh on your wireless network.Here’s how to reset your network settings on your iPad Mini (iPhone and iPad as well).
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Tap “Settings” icon on your homepage > tap the “General” option > tap on “Reset” > then finally tap on “Reset Network Settings”. Your iPad will restart.
Renew IP Address.
Settings > Wifi > Tap the Blue Arrow (right-hand side) next to the network that you connect to
Click Auto under HTTP Proxy
Click Renew Lease
Connect to your selected network
Try Safari, then YouTube, then try downloading a free app.
If you still do not have appropriate connectivity after this, take to your local Apple Store/Reseller and test, fix, or replace. -

Itunes cant find my new ipad mini.
I just got a new ipad mini and i followed the setup to the letter but when i connect it to my laptop itunes doesnt recognize it.
