My parents and I share itunes and their music keeps downlaoding onto my laptop and phone, is there any way to prevent this from happening?

My parents were too lazy and didnt know how to create their own itunes account. so I was wondering if either 1)there was a way to stop their music from geting on my laptop and phone,or 2) a way to transfer my perchases to a new itunes account. If anyone has any ideas besides burning everything to discs I'd love to hear it.

HT1660 Whenever my computer does a hard shutdown I lose all of my playlists and have to reimport them, is there any way to prevent this from happening?

I had to hard reboot my computer again, which is a rare occurance and the previous time and this time I noticed that all of my music from CDs was missing and all of my playlists were gone. I can go back and reimport them, but that takes a long time because I have over 100 playlists because that is how I like my music organized. I have a new pc, and when updating ipad software it will erase all apps etc, is there any way to stop this from happening and make my new laptop my ipads "home" pc???

I have a new laptop, and have copied over my existing itunes libary, but when i connect my ipad, and go to update the software to the new version it warns me that it will wipe all my apps etc..... How can i stop this from happening and make my new laptop the "home" for my ipad??

Macs use an application called Migration Assistant to copy material from the old Mac to the new one. The macs are connected together and each runs Migration Assistance and the user chooses what stuf to copy onto the new Mac.
Unfortunately I do not know how to do this between pcs or between a Mac and a Pf or even if it's even possible.

Every time I sync my my iPod 5th gen to iTunes all my previous purchased on iTunes doubles on my iPod. Before if I have everything already on there it re-syncs and most song double but it's complete radon each time, if it is not all of them to.

After I watch a podcast I delete it. When I go back in the next day it shows 500-600 episodes I have to delete manually. So 2 questions.... Is there a way to stop this from happening and is there a way to delete all. This is getting frustrating.

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

I've been giving HD videos in MTS format and convert the for editing in FCE. Looks good in the program, but when I export the finished film, quality had been noticeable diminished. Is there any way to prevent FCE from lowering the output quality?

No, it's done exactly what it is intended to do.
Syncing of notes (contacts, calendars, etc) via iCloud is instantaneous across all connected devices.

I believe you are using System fonts for the text in the site. I would suggest you to use either Web safe fonts or use self hosted font options.

ITunes keeps removing music from my library! Is there any way to get this to stop?

For the last three years or so iTunes intermittently removes parts of my library. I'm so sick of dealing with this! I'm beginning to intensely dislike Apple. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to what it's removing and I don't think it's the same songs every time. Is there any way to remedy this from happening so often?
