can anyone help me find the right usb driver for my ipod touch. the pc nor i tunes is picking it up from my usb port.i remove i tunes and the port but still nothing?

It looks like part of the crash report is missing. But at the top of your message it states there's an issue with the xmlTextReader in Pages. I guess this means Pages is having trouble opening, closing or saving the document.
If this only happens with one Pages document then it may just be corrupt.
If this happens with any Pages document then I'd suggest deleting Pages, reinstalling it from DVD/Mac App Store, updating it and then trying to work with a document.
If this doesn't answer your question please provide more information eg what steps to take to cause the problem, if it happens with one or many documents, if you get any error message at all, etc.

A movie purchased from iTunes can only be played on iPods, iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs and authorized computers. Even if you transferred the movie to a flash drive, it wouldn't play on your DVD player.

Why won't album artwork show on ipod touch 4g?

My itunes vers 10 is showing all of my cover art. I have gone thru each track and made sure the artwork is attached to each track however only a fraction of the artwork shows on my ipod touch after syncing. I have tried to reboot ipod to no avail. Per other message board posts I have looked for a box to check which reads "Display album artwork on ipod" but I see no such button under Preferences nor on the Music tab when ipod is connected. Pls advise. Thx!

I have had this problem since iOS4 and I recently (mostly) resolved it in iOS6.
1. First make sure you do not 'Sign In' into iTunes store.
2. I used playlists to resolve the issue. Create a playlist with one song, preferably one that does not have any album art.
3. Create another playlist with all the songs you want to add.
4. With your iTouch/iPhone attached open iTunes. Go to Device->Music. Under Sync Music:choose "Selected playlists,albums and genres". Choose the one song playlist from those shown. Click on the Sync(Apply) button. This will delete all of the songs.
5. Once the deletion is complete choose the playlist with all the songs. Click on the Apply(Sync)button. This will install all the songs again and with album artwork.
6. Once all the songs have been installed click on all the playlists that you want to add (no new songs) and click on the Sync(Apply) button again.
You should now have your songs with album artwork and playlists installed. Hope this helps. The song in the one song playlist won't have any artwork even if it is included. There were some albums whose artwork were not installed. I had a 95% success rate. As I said, it mostly solves the problem for me.

When i open iPhoto, it shows my iPod touch is connected even though it's not.

When I open iPhoto, it shows that my iPod touch 4th generation is connected under the devices tab even though it is not. Here is a screen shot of what it looks like.
Then when I plug in my iPod, iPhoto still will not open, i still get the same screen image when i manually open it and it will not show me anything that is on the iPod. I have tried unmounting it in the device tab and restarting iPhoto. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

well, kiss my grits!! i feel like i am running a pc today. after making this post i shutdown all my apps and then did a restart, and low and behold when i plugged in my ipod, iphoto opened and it recognized the photos. go figure all it needed was a restart.

Album artwork not showing on iPod touch 5th gen

Hey guys,
I really need help on this. The issue has been bugging me the last several weeks and it is driving me nuts.
After I updated my iPod touch to 6.1.3 as well as itunes on my windows to ver.11.0.2.26 (or the one before),
I could no longer add album art to any of the new songs I add to my iPod.
The weird thing is that album arts are there in itunes under get info ---> artwork,
but they just never show on the actual screen of iPod touch no matter what I do. I tried to hit the sync button,
remove/add the songs back to itunes again, even restored the iPod touch but didn't do a thing. Now all the previous songs' artworks are gone.
I like to organize all songs manually so are all the artworks. I google the image and copy/paste to each song by going under get info ---> artwork
Tried to get album artworks using the itunes feature but since some of the songs I have are foreign songs, so it wouldn't work either.
I also don't use library to organize my music since I have some duplicates and they just look really messy in library.
I simply just drag and drop music on the iPod itself.
Is anybody out there having the same issue? I called Apple and they had no clue to why.
It worked perfectly fine until the last update. Now I am really regretting the update. All the songs are now showing nothing but music
note on the screen with title and artist name.
Help will be appreciated!

Glad to know I wasn't the only one with this issue.
As an update to my issue, the album artwork all the sudden reappeared on my iPod yeasterday.
Still don't know the actual cause or what actually got itself fixed but here's how I did:
- Back up your iPod first. Since I didn't have much to lose on my iPod, for those who have alot of stuff on there should promptly do so just in case.
- Go to this link: http://www.doctorchewy.com/album-artwork-woes/
and follow the procedures.
- Some people might get the album artwork back working properly again by the end of the procedure above, but it still didn't work for me so I suspected it was itunes so I uninstalled the itunes from my PC and reinstalled.
- It still didn't want to show album artwork after reinstallation so instead of synching it to the PC, I used my Macbook (OSX 10.6.8) and downloaded the older version itunes (10.7) through here:

- It still didn't show after days followed but while I almost bang my head against the screen, I figured
that go to get info------> artwork, click add, select the image file, click ok, and if it still wouldn't show;
click on the image and delete the image. Repeat the previous step once again, and it should start synching to your iPod after hitting ok. If it doesn't sync automatically, hit sync and voila. The album artwork should once again, show on your iPod like before.
Again, the process is somewhat hectic but hey, it works now. I'm still hesitant to sync with the newest itunes though. I don't know how my iPod was able to sync with a PC and my Macbook but I was able to manage and keep all the stuff, minus the music, before the problem occured. Let me know how you guys did.

Problems syncing TV Shows to iPod Touch

I am having issues syncing my TV shows that I've purchased on iTunes into my iPod Touch. I get a pop up window that says: The episode was not copied to the iPod because it cannot be played on this iPod.
I just purchased this iPod yesterday, I've updated the software and everything else that I have synced has worked. What is going on?!?

first take a look @ iTunes. do you see this ?
if so, check your iTunes media (or music folder). open the folder for the tv show in finder. do you see this ?
if not, the SD versions may still be in the pipe. check your settings in iTunes > preferences > store. is +automatically check for available downloads+ enabled ?
you can check any time you like from the store menu.
if still no joy, access your +purchase history+ via (your) account in the iTMS and click on +report a problem+. report the problem.

Organizing TV shows on ipod touch

I have an ipod touch. I am trying to add 4 seasons of a tv show.
I have managed to get them grouping under the TV shows sections, and under the Show name. However, when I go into the show folder, the episodes are listed like this:
1x01
2x01
3x01
4x01
1x02
etc...
I have updated the tags to say which series the episode belongs to, the episode number, The episode ID. I even made tagged each series as an individual compilation and added each episode as a track in the compilation.
Yet it still lists the episodes in the above example.
I just want series 1 to be listed, then series 2 etc.
Any ideas of the tags that I can add or edit to make it work?

Info Tab:-
Name = Episode Name
Artist = Show name
Album Artist = Show name
Album = Show name, Series x
Grouping = Season x
Track number = x of y
Disc Number = 1 of 1
Part of a compilation = ticked
Video Tab:-
Show = Show name
Season Number = x
Episode ID = SxEy
Episode Num = y
Sorting Tab:-
left hand column is filled with info from the Info Tab
Right hand column is blank
Options tab:-
Media kind = TV Show
I have a feeling that it is to do with the sorting tab. I don't know what to enter in there.
This info is what i've been advised to enter in. My friend has an Ipod Classic, entered the info as above, and its all sorted perfectly on that.
I just want a nice, clean, ordered library. It shouldn't be this hard!

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit doesn't show my iPod Touch 4

I have attached my iPod Touch 4 to my Windows 7 PC via the included USB cable. iTunes recognizes the iPod. It is nowhere to be found in Windows Explorer or Computer. Device Manager - Universal Serial Bus controllers lists Apple Mobile Device USB Driver. My iPod seems to be working. iTunes and iOS are up to date. I need to transfer music from the computer to the iPod. What can I do about it?

The iPod is NOT a flash drive, hard drive or memory card substitute. It cannot be seen as a drive in Windows Explorer (except for the camera function which shows up in Windows Explorer under your device's name)

Yesterday I decided to download some DVDs onto my ipod touch, newest generation if that helps. So i bought a DVD - itunes converter from mac app store and it converted the DVDs for me. I could see them on my itunes but when I tried to put them on my ipod a little message came up saying 'this video is not suitable for your ipod' or something like that. It turned out It had been programmed to play on an ipad. So I re-downloaded the movie, clicking the box that said 'ipod touch' and it worked, fine, I could see it in my itunes. HOWEVER when I dragged the movie onto my device no message came up this time but it isn't showing on my ipod!!! I can'y sync it because its my whole familys and has about a billion of my dads songs and about 100 'learn the alphabet' apps for my little brother. It would take me so long to delete everything.
I really hope you can help, because I am going on a 12 hour journey tommorow and I need to entertain myself in the car.

Does the movie show up on a music video playlist, under Music? You can highlight the video in iTunes and choose Get Info, from the File menu, to change or view the video Kind.
Was the movie purchased from the iTunes Store?
Try resetting the iPod touch by holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple logo as described here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305743

I am running iTunes 10.6.3.25 on my Windows Vista laptop and iOS 5.1.1 on my iPod touch. I have transferred some new albums to the iPod and the album artwork don't show on the iPod. It does show up in iTunes and if I look on my iPod through iTunes, I see the artwork when I "get info" but it won't show up on the iPod itself. Anyone out there having the same problem?
