My Time Machine says there is no backup disk available. I've never had any problems with my time machine completing backups. JanaYou can lose your ability to backup through TM for any number of reasons, but the most common is what happens after a update. If your drive still works, your best approach is to read this:

I've never had any problems with iTunes, and one day, without doing anything to it, I tried to open it and it said "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes." I've reinstalled it countless times and it still keeps giving me that message. I don't know what to do.

What do I do if my iPhone just switched itself off and won't turn back on again? It does not even register power when I plug it in to my car or home charger or computer???
If you hold the home button and power button for about 10 seconds it will turn back on. I have had his issue 3 times but don't know what fixes it for good

I'm experiencing the same issue. It's one thing to have to re-power up but to not be able to do so without plugging in the charger when the battery is substantially full, is a real drag.

I have had my paid apps for around a year now and recently i did a sync on my laptop and it said i was not authorised to syn certain apps such as "angry birds , Doodle Jump , Fifa 11 Ect. " which i paid for and never had this problem before , can anyone help me ?

so like it says, ive never had an issue. and now it won't turn on. it's plugged in to charge, and the light is green, as usual. I don't know what's happened, is there a way to turn it on at all? or am I going to have to take it into apple?
The Mac is inherently a Multi-User system, even if you are the only one who ever used it.
This means that System Directories are kept almost entirely unmodified, and all of YOUR files, including things that seem like "system-wide" preferences, are all kept under /Users/Your login/ in your private directory.
I recommend you re-install Mac OS X. That should restore any parts of the System you discarded by accident. Your files should remain untouched throughout the entire process, PROVIDED you have no pre-existing Directory damage.
If you are running 10.7 or later, hold down Command-R at startup, which will take you to Recovery_HD, and use Disk Utility to (Repair Disk). Run it again until it is stuck or finds no more errors.
Then re-download and re-install Mac OS X.
You should not need to do a "clean Install" [where one copies off all User files onto two Backups, erases the drive, and installs on a clean drive]. Any part of Mac OS X that was missing or damaged will be replaced by a fresh copy. -

For example, I had several tabs open in Firefox 4 just now. For no apparent reason, when I opened a fifth tab, I couldn't click on the location bar or type anything into it even with repeated attempts. I either have to start Firefox again or try going back to a tab that is already open with a page loaded and type into the location bar there. That worked for me to be able to get to this website. This is very frustrating and seriously hampering my ability to use Firefox--which I have previously always been impressed with. I have a 2 year old Dell Optiplex 755 running Windows Vista.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Well, if you can't reset it, you can try hooking it up to the computer your sync with and try restoring it:
IOS RECOVERY MODE RESTORE
If the device is not recognized by iTunes, you will have to make a trip to the Apple Store.

i can't get it to work, the screen is totally black and i've tried everything including charging, nothing is working
Take the device to Apple for evaluation and likely replacement as there is obviously a hardware issue.
I'm always amazed that people will leave with malfunctioning devices. -
I am not computer savvy. I have a second generation itouch and have never had any problems with it until now. When I try to play certain songs, it will not play the song and skip to the next song selection. When I try to play certain videos, the message "This movie could not be played" appears. I contacted a tech spec who said it was possibly a format problem. How do i fix this?
This might sound weird, but here's an idea which worked for me re music that was newly added to itunes and showed up in my ipod but wouldn't play - I simply played the tracks in itunes first, just a second of time or so will do it, not the whole track, then connect the ipod and sync again and this time they played - hope this helps.

Help please. I have a new Epson XP 520 printer and do not know how to set the CS3 print to get good results as my printed photos are now far too dark. Never had any problems with previous printers and despite changing settings have been unable to resolve.
