My phones buttons are not responding & contacts have been erased

all of a sudden, my letter "e/2" stopped working. i did a battery pull, and that did nothing, so i did a restore on my phone. this resulted in none of my buttons reponding or taking 10mins (no joke!) to respond. it has also wiped all my contacts aswell.
i have tried to restore my phone several times and nothing is working!!!
i have a 8520 curve.
this is really making me lose my confidence with blackberry

and no it won't go past the 2/3 stage of loading. i have tried to put it into safe mode & nothing happens. safe mode won't load up. its not doing anything. very close to chucking the phone against a wall.

I am having the same issue. I think this is because of a javascript error. In the crm_bsp_frame application, there are two main.js files and one of which is the good one. I am thinking( and please make sure with SAP before trying anything), that one file needs to be removed. Please enable javascript debugging in your browser and try calling.

GIve the reset another try; nothing to lose.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Well with the contacts, if you had back up assistant or google back up then you may be able to retrieve them.If not then they are gone for good. Withe the message you ae getting about the space, since you cleared everything out and still get that message you might or actually need to do afactory reset thru settings. So make sure the apps you want are saved on your card or just do the reset and redownload the apps

Lost my iPad and when I attempt to use the "LOST" feature in icloud, the NEXT and CANCEL buttons are not responding. I have tried this on 3 different windows based computers. Any ideas???

Year 2010-2011 MacBook Pro version 10.7.4 issues: freezes up, files are loading slowly and buttons are not responding

Hello my fellow Apple product user's. My problem has been going on for about a month and half with my laptop locking up, file folders on my desktop loading slowly and my sleep button and other buttons on my dash board not responding. Where to being with my issues that are listed up in my title and my first scene. The first issue has been my file folders are not loading fast like that did before, the issue is that they load in about 10-15 if not a little longer after I log into my laptop desktop. The second issue is that my sleep button does not respond to sleep right away, I have to press it three or four different times after I have logged out of my desktop to make it go to sleep. The final problem is dealing with my buttons and laptop locking up, when I started an application called runescape after it load to the log in screen and after I came back to log into the game it decide to lock up/ froze on me and durning that time my buttons on my dashboard was not responding, so I decide to command q to quit the application and after that buttons were not reponding to it and I decide to do common and control c to see if it would work and it did and after that everything has been working fine except for the files are loading slowly. Also I had another issue with the laptop sleeping so quick as soon I am using the Internet. There was one other problem that had happen to me just like my description in my first scene, but I do not remember that issue.

HT201412 I bought my I pad 3 2 days ago and the touchscreen buttons are not responding. some voice is telling me to double click on the apps and then telling me what the app is! I am not great with computers and so on - can anyone help??????? thanks!

Sounds like you have VoiceOver (one of the accessibility features) 'on'. Try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can then change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home.
If that doesn't turn it off then you can either turn it off directly on the iPad (you need to use a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process and 3 fingered scrolling) to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn VoiceOver 'off', or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064

Works in safe mode but following all steps hasn't fixed problem of not responding.

my mac is 24inch from early , Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 9 (11g63b) . and yes fcpx has been working fine for months now but on my last project it started making me force quit everytime i try to use it now. i followed the steps with reseting the preferances but i didnt work. i also tried deleting the app and reinstalling , and disk permissions all failed. can u help me out?

I synced my mum's iPhone 3G for the first time tonight and all her contacts have been erased.

I have a MacBook and I synced her iPhone 3G to transfer the contacts to the Mac, but after the phone was finished syncing I went to Address Book and I could only find the contacts from my iPhone 4. I can't find mum's contacts anywhere on my Mac, and they're gone from her phone.
Does anyone know if there's any way I can get the contacts back on to either the Mac or the iPhone? I've never really used Address Book much and I know there's some sort of problem syncing the 3Gs... Please help!! :'(

Ouch, loosing data is never fun. Sad to say the contacts are gone from the phone and can't be recovered there.
iOS devices are currently designed to have their data managed by one computer. Connecting to another computer and syncing it takes ownership. Thus, overwriting the data. You need to have it connected back up to the her computer to get the data back.
If there are contacts on her phone that she wishes to share with you, then share them individually from her Contacts on her phone, or export them from her iCal (if using a Mac OS system).
I am using a white iPhone 3G and have never had issues syncing, nor heard of that being an issue.

If there are certain error messages or codes that you might see, please write me back with which errors you see, and which functions are giving you problems, such as you cannot print, copy, scan, etc.

IPhone 5 just bought ask for restoration once and again!!! Buttons do not respond either

The power button do not respond, I have to turn it on connecting the Lightning cable
The home button does not respond either, I have to use it with the remote of the EarPods and Siri, as without the Home button I can not activate the screen
It ask me for restoration once and again, but I restore it using iTunes and as restoration end it ask me for restoration again :-S

That's where I would begin, too, with
Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.TStatus of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it saysanything but Verified)

If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.

First we need to determine if the issue you are experiencing with the computer is software or hardware based. Once we have gotten things sorted out there should be time enough to make you decision about keeping or returning it.

So the issue is isolated to two contacts only.
There are a couple sections in this article for troubleshooting contact specific issues.
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
If you still can't send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that the contact you're trying to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.

If you still can't send or receive SMS, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact who's trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that you're using the area code with the contact's phone number. When sending messages internationally, you also need to use the contact's international code.
