My plug-in update now button redirects back to the same plug-in check page instead of to the actual download site

After updating to 29 when I would check my plug-in status it would either not recognize a plug-in was outdated, or when it did, the update now button would redirect to the plug-in page I was on already. I have been going directly to the sites to update the plug-ins manually. Today I updated to 30, and then after reopening the browser I checked the plug-ins. It said the plug-in for Adobe Acrobat, version 11.0.7.79, was vulnerable. The update now button just redirects to the same page I'm on, again. But, I cannot find any place on adobe to update this plug-in, or even find a version history to confirm the version I have is indeed vulnerable (recently we all went through this with the Java plug-in, when it was the current version although Firefox said it wasn't).
Why is this update now button doing this? Is 11.0.7.79 the latest version? Is there any place on adobe.com that I can go directly for this plug-in? Any help would be appreciated, as this is so frustrating, and I'm concerned about using the browser at all if there is a known vulnerability. TIA.

There seems to be a bug in the new site: it is associating the <s>Flash</s> <u>Adobe Acrobat</u> plugin with the Mac version ("Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in" is the description used on Mac) instead of the Windows version ("Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape" is the description used on Windows and Linux). As a result, from what I can see, it is not correcting comparing the current plugin version with the site's database. I'm not sure how they're going to fix that, but as far as I can tell, that seems to be the problem as of this moment.

First, grab the Adobe uninstaller from here:

IMO, the best version of Flash for WinXP. Adobe kept up with security updates for 10.3 for WinXP users long after Flash 11.0 came out in 2011 for Vista and newer versions of Windows.
Run the uninstaller, then reboot your operating system.
Then you can run the Flash installer, with Firefox closed, of course.

If I go through the setup that you suggested, won't I screw up the existing software on my system?
No. The iTunes installer will first uninstall the existing version of iTunes and then put in the new one. (That's actually also what happens when you use Apple Software Update to install a new version ... it just doesn't show the uninstall phase like the iTunes64Setup.exe or iTunesSetup.exe does.)

Trying to redownload shockwave, Download Now button redirects me to home page?

Was trying to get into a game that was having connection problems, so I decided to reinstall shockwave.
Every time I hit "Download Now" it redirects me to the home page of adobe. I know I have it uninstalled. I have restarted my laptop a few times.
Is there any direct download link? I'm getting super peeved.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

Which operating system are you using?
Have you tried Help>Updates from within photoshop cs6 to get either camera raw 8.3 or 8.7.1, which should enable photoshop cs6 to open the canon 5D Mark III files.
(version of camera raw depends on your operating system)

Use the Firewire cable and t boot the old Mac's hard drive to the new Mac's desktop and transfer your entire iPhoto folder.
Use Disk Utiliy to erase'format HFS+ Journaled your TimeMachine drive and use the free Carbon Copy Cloner and clone your new boot drive to the external, it's hold option bootable.

Plugin check 'Update Now' link redirects to itself

Google Earth Plugin is vulnerable and has an 'Update Now' link. It just redirects to itself.

I clicked on "http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/"; it showed Google Earth version "7.1.1.1871" as "up to date". I noticed that one of my Adobe plugins needed to be updated, so I clicked on the "Update Now"; updated the application and went back to the "http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/" and it still shows that it needs to be updated. I suspect I need to close Firefox and restart Firefox. I'll let you know once I restart.
Update: Yep, the restart was the issue. All of my plugins are showing "up to date". I stand corrected; I didn't restart Firefox when I made my comment. I will correct my original with a note to restart Firefox before checking on the plugin status.
I went to www.google.com, clicked on "Maps" and when the map display selected "Earth". It worked, I was able to view my home.
I clicked on "http://www.google.com/earth/plugin/error.html" and it displayed ""There was a problem with the Google Earth Plugin. Please try reloading the page." I would just ignore the message; I am a user, not tech support.

Have you tried a reboot? Hold down the power and home buttons simultaneously. Ignore the Slide to Power Off prompt if it pops up. The display should go dark, and the Apple logo should appear as it begins a reboot. This is a soft reboot - it does not erase data.
