Here's my weak attempt at a cvs version for ratpoison. All I really have done is to add the cvs line and change ./configure --prefix=/usr to ./autogen --prefix=/usr

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? I'm rather stumped. I can post the whole config.log if that would help.
I've tried some basic tests with other things and everything else I've tried to compile works just fine, it only seems to be the aMSN package having the issues, yet it looks like it's a problem with the GCC config and not aMSN.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Linux CVS - SHELLOPTS Error

Hi. I have a project using CVS source control and it all works fine except when I try to do a diff between files.
The error I'm getting is:
Unable to perform CVS file difference check.
sh: SHELLOPTS: readonly variableI'm running JDeveloper and CVS under Linux. I can connect to the CVS repository and check-out files using JDeveloper, however I cannot run diff with JDeveloper. I can however run diff and all other CVS commands from the command prompt. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

When I right-click on my local file and then select "Source Control -> Compare with Previous Version", nothing shows up in the log window. Instead I get a message box saying "Unable to perform CVS file difference check...sh: SHELLOPTS: readonly variable". The same happens if I select "Source Control -> Compare..."...
However if I perform a "Source Control -> Update..." on the same file I get the following:

CVS protocol error with Xcode 3

Dear all,
I'm having a hard time getting Xcode talk to our CVS repository. While everything works fine at command line level, I get the following error from within Xcode 3:
*cvs [server aborted]: protocol error: directory '/E/CVS/repository' not within root 'E:/CVS/repository'*
CVSROOT is set to ":pserver:myname@myserver:/E//CVS/repository"
Again, when exporting CVSROOT from command line and using +cvs co+ everything is fine and also Eclipse3 is happy with the setup.
Anyone a clue?

Is there a UNC path you could use?
What are you using for a CVS server? Are you just using CVS and pointing it at a shared path? You can run CVSNT on a Windows server and it will provide a decent CVSROOT. You can also try running CVSNT on the Mac (I do), but I don't know if it would help if you aren't running CVSNT on Windows. It might handle that path better, I don't know.
Also, I don't remember if Xcode 3 uses its own internal CVS code or not. I know they have made changes in CVS, and not for the better. Look at your SCM settings and see if you can specify an external CVS client to use. Back in Xcode 2.5, they recommended using "/usr/bin/ocvs" if you had problems. The 'o' was for obsolete. It wasn't really obsolete though. Apple decided as of Xcode 2.5 to start using CVS wrappers again like it was 1997. I don't know what they are doing currently. I switched to CVS-NT and didn't look back. Now I only have random "file is in the way" errors in Xcode.

Video shot on my iPhone 5S produces error -2048 indicating that .MOV is not recognized by Quicktime

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4 (16G) to an iPhone 5S (16G); my wife from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5C - videos from either phone will not play in QuickTime v7.7.4 (running Windows7). I have downgraded to an earlier QT version 7.6 to no avail. I have reinstalled QT 7.7.4 and continue to get the message 2048 from Quicktime it is not a file that QuickTime understands; I can play the videos previously shot on the iPhone 4 units. I've also tried to open with other video players (Windows Media Play, VLC) with no luck. Anyone else out there overcome this challenge?

And see if that will play it. It plays a lot of formats that Quicktime will not recognize.

Itunes blue screen error

I recently installed itunes from the disk that came with the ipod nano.
The problem I'm having is that when you open itunes with or without the ipod connected it crashed the computer. I rang apple and they said its a windows problem although they did suggest I download version 6 from their web site which I did and the problem still exists. I rang microsoft support and they said it was an apple problem
The problem doesn't happen all the time, around say 80% the computer shots down with a blue screen error message saying " A problem has been detected and windows
has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

I followed this recommendation for one of the other discussions to at least get the blue screens to stop for a while. So far so good. Try this to see if it helps. Make sure you sequence exactly or else blue screens will appear again. Good luck!

I spent hours last night and today, when something simple actually worked!
If you've uninstalled/reinstalled recently, don't bother. The problem is probably the nano, NOT the computer.
Reset your nano. Move the hold switch until you see orange, then back again, lay it on the table and press the center of the wheel and menu at the same time and hold until you see the apple (6 to 10 seconds).
Then plug your cable into your computer's usb first, then connect the ipod to it. Wait. Hope it works for you

I have screen shots of the messages and what happens when I try to play games on Facebook since I updated Firefox. Issues I didn't have before the update. Where do I send them? How do I correct this?

The screen shots include the web address for both shots. One is for script error messages that keep interrupting EVERY game. Then after I stop the scrip, Adobe Flash crashes, and I have no control. I have to use the Windows Task Manager to gain access to my home page to get out.
This didn't happen until I updated the Firefox this last time. I've tried everything and nothing works to get rid of the problem.

A/P Invoice - Row Error

Hello all,
when adding an A/P invoice, i encounter this error " [A/P Invoice - Rows - Discount % per Row][line: 12], 'you are not permitted to perform this action - Chart of Account' this is my screen shot, please see image

can anyone suggest me how to resolve this one.

Hi Avelino,
As I seen from your screen shot it appears as if the error comes for the specific user only. And since this is about discount you will have to mention the discount that particular user is eligible to give to the BP.This can be done from Administration -Systen Initialisation - Authorisations - General Authorisations - Select the user and in the max discount field below mentiuon the max discount he can give to the BP.
Check this out and let me know.

MESSG KEEPS POPPING UP EVERY FEW SECONDS, I HAVE UNINSTALLED FLASH AND REINSTALLED IT FROM ADOBE'S WEB SITE BUT IT STILL KEEPS POPPIN UP. WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?

MY PROBLEM IS EXACTLY THE SAME AS YOURS. I ALSO HAVE FIREFOX BUT I CANT TAKE A SCREEN SHOT OF MY PROBLEM BECAUSE THE ERROR MESSG POPS UP SO OFTEN AND LOCKS UP MY COMPUTER UNTIL I HIT THE X BUTTON ON IT BUT IT POPS RIGHT BACK UP AGAIN. I THINK I HAVE ELIMINATED THE PROBLEM TEMPORARILY   BY DISABLING ANY POPUPS THAT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH FLASH. NOT THE BEST SOLUTION BUT AT LEAST I CAN USE MY COMPUTER.

I am having the same issue. I use Mozilla as my web browser and encountered the problem when I signed in to my Yahoo mail account.

Int satPopup.size.width error

Hello. I have a macbook pro, running snow leopard. I am trying to fill out an online job application and I continue to get the following error messages:
int satPopup.size.width
int.satPopup.size.height
to a value > 0.
What does this mean? I have never had this problem before. I am also seeing it on my iMac. I am running 10.6.8 on both.
Any ideas on what is wrong?

markwmsn is 100% correct. It is bad code from the web site you're on. Here's a shot in the dark - from the error message there's a good chance that the website is trying to serve you a "bad" popup window. Try toggling whatever is set for the following setting to the opposite value and see what happens when filling in the application:
Settings > Safari > Block Pop-ups
By bad popup I mean it is dimensioned to display a 0 x 0 (width length) window which of course makes no sense. This assumes you were using Safari as your browser. You didn't specify this in your original question.

Error report number (-69)

i have absolutely no idea why this is happenening but my ipod will fill up about 2/3rds of the way and then it will say "Attempting to copy to the disk "morbidadams" failed. An unknown error occured (-69). i have restored it to factory settings and this does not help, what do i do?

Error occurs when executing an item in an inbox with more than 1000 entries

Hi Everyone,
One of our approvers in SRM experienced an error when his inbox contained more than 1000 entries . Further execution on any inbox item produces errors.
Would you know where to set the maximum allowable entries in a user's inbox? Can this be set thru SRM config or Basis functionality?
We also searched for existing SAP Notes but found nothing.
Your inputs and help are greatly appreciated.

The user has sent me the screen shot. But this has no error messages. The approval transaction shows an ITS screen/code with template 'bbpapproval/99/saplbw02_1200.html'
However, we have a user in Quality where the page displays with no problem and with 1675 Entries.
Do you think this is more of an ITS setting or any Template/JavaScript issues?

Regarding the not-so-good practice of approvers to have more than 1000 entries in their inbox, we are still in the process of planning on how to divide the task to different approvers since there is only one approver (Project Manager) for the related network.

Hello Vijaya,
Incase of BAPI's they have a return table parameter T_RETURN. Just read that return table to get the error message.
Incase of normal function modules, there will be exceptions raised for the message used inside the function module. Just read the sy-subrc after the FM and based on the sy-subrc value find the respective exception raised.
May be you can try like this, whenever the message is raised it will be stored in the system variable.
CALL FM.
check for the system variables.
sy-msgid = Message ID of the latest message raised.
sy-msgno = message number of the latest message raised.
sy-msgty = message type of the latest message raised.
sy-msgv1 = variable1 of the latest message raised.
sy-msgv2 = variable2 of the latest message raised.
sy-msgv3 = variable3 of the latest message raised.
sy-msgv4 = variable4 of the latest message raised.

Error occurs in accessing producer content in federated portal network

I am trying to access my bi iViews in the enterprise portal using federated portal approach. we are having BI portal(Netweaver 2004s sp15) and Enterprise portal(Netweaver 2004s sp09).I am able to create iViews in BI portal using default system SAP_LOCALSYSTEM.Producer portal registration is also working fine(screen shot attached).But i am getting error when trying to access producer content.
