  • SXMB_MONI Error

    Hi,
    I am facing a small problem in XI. Could you please help me out for the same.
    The problem is like
    for a XI type communication channel for sender FTP I see following error in SXMB_MONI -
    Unable to read user password from communication channel of type Error when accessing the secure store (access ID = 3650CAFA1FBAA04E8F260C6C4C1923FA) Error while reading from the secure store: ERROR_UNKNOWN: Cannot find entry in secure store (SECSTORE,023).
    Could anyone of you please let me know what could be the problem here. I have specified the correct user name and pwd in communication channel.
    Thanks,

    First of all, u have to access the J2EE server. So go to the system where XI is installed.
    Now ConfigTool can be used in 2 ways. The easier one is GUI Config Tool. After installing the SAP Web AS Java, a configtool directory is created, containing a configtool script file. U have to double click it to open.
    Then see this

  • IDOC created in BPM, Message in SXMB_MONI = error

    Hello everybody,
    we generated a IDOC in BPM.
    In ID we got for the corresponding IDOC-Message-Interface
    a) Receiver determination
    b) interface determination
    c) receiver agreement
    In SXMB_MONI we got the error "IDoc Interface XYZ could not be interpreted"
    This error only occurs when the receiver is out R/3 system.
    If we change the receiver e.g. to FTP, everything works find?
    (IDOC is not standard SAP!)
    Any ideas?
    Regards Mario

    Hi,
    Make sure that you are using the idoc imported from R/3 as your interface in the configurations and not the external definition.
    Also the receiver determination and receiver agreement should have the BPM as the sender service and R/3 as the receiver service.

    Smitha.

  • Message failing in SXMB_moni----Error while reading from the secure store

    Hi,
    The scenario is as below
    A file is picked up from a folder and processed to enrich it.This enriched file is then written back in a different folder.
    The message is failing in sxmb_moni while trying to write the file in the folder.
    The PI system is a system copy of another system and few of the configuration objects are transported through a tpz file to this PI system.The file receiver channel used to write this file is also transported through this tpz file.

    Change your UDF for reading the file name like this:
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    // in test tool the value is null, so return the argument "test"
      if (conf == null)
       return "Filename"
      else {
        DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create(
                "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File",
                "FileName");
        return conf.get(key);

  • Concern: NO ALerts being triggered for SXMB_MONi errors

    Hello Experts,
    I have configured the SXMB_MONI alert setup in alrtcatdef t-code according to Michal's Blog.
    The users configured in SU01 are using the RML mode for communication.
    I am able to see the dummy alert triggered from Standard reports like RSALERTTEST in my Alert Inbox (RWB).
    But I am unable to see any alert mails (in RWB) for errors being generated in SXMB_MONI.
    Kindly help as to what is missing in the alert setup.
    Is it anything at the SMTP level or am I missing something in Alert Setup itself?
    PS: On checking the "Overview of Send Requests" in SCOT t-code it shows the error "Cannot process message, no route from <login_id> to <SYSID>:<CLNT>:<login_id>.
    This error also is shown only for errors triggered from the Report RSALERTTEST and not the actual errors from SXMB_MONI.
    Pls Advice,
    Thanks in advance,
    Elizabeth.

    you need to do the configuration of SMTP adress in the mail configuration
    go to SCOT transaction and select the SMTP node and select the internet and configure the SMTP host and port details there
    and check the option node in use then test the routing

  • SXMB_MONI Error - Product location related

    Getting an error in SXMB_MONI which says 'Product not found in location'. However this product exists at the corresponding location. What else should I check?

    Hi,
    In which process you are getting this error?
    I am assuming you are getting this error in purchase order collaboration process (PO created in ECC sent to SNC and failed in SNC).
    In SXMB_MONI go to failed XML and copy product then go to location product master.
    Transaction code /n/SAPAPO/MAT1 Paste the product and enter location (sometime there will be typo mistake possible).
    Check this location product is assigned to model 000.
    If this product exists at the corresponding location then update with  all erros you are getting SXMB_MONI and also mention in which process you are getting this error (RON_IN XML or DDN_IN XML or ROC_IN XML).

  • Throwing Custom Exception in SXMB_MONI( Error Node)

    Hello all,
                The requirement is to Throw an Custom Error Exception in the SXMB_MONI, which we are able to do and generate the custom error message to stop the message in moni . I have created the UDF to call API's Classes such as BaseRuntimeException or RuntimeException.
    Above API's -Able to populate the Custom Message in the TRACE Node of the Request Message mapping Step.
    Not Able to Populate the error Message in the ERROR Node of the Request Message mapping Step,so I want to know is that any API's can be used to populate the custom message in error Node or Can i raise the OSS notes ? .
    Any OSS notes helps me to do that?
    Thanks,
    Kamal

    Hi,
    There is no API to provide this functionality. The reason is the XI message processing is through pipeline as you know. And this is nothing but SAP specific services. So you can not alter them as they are. For the request that you are asking, you will have to edit the pipeline step that populates the SAP:ERROR node. For this, we need to identify which service does this and then if it is possible to write a user exit, etc...So in this case, I would suggest you go with raising an OSS note.
    However, can you please tell us why is this required? I can understand to send a message/mail if you get an error or something like that. But I am not able to figure out in what scenarios would you require this kind of error display.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Sarath.

  • Steps for SXMB_MONI error message monitoring in CEN

    Hi All,
    I am not able to see the Exchange Infrastructure Monitor Template in RZ20! I have seen the same in PI7 and CEN (Solution Manager) system as well. The Central System monitoring for PI system is configured and working fine!
    Please help as I want to monitor the SXMB_MONI messages on The CEN System!
    Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Nallam,
                    The structure is simple like 300 nodes for items after mapping and these are to be inserted in to SAP tables using RFC. But in the Adapter engine enteries found were 250.
    The same message when sent again worked fine but we have to find the root cause of the error.
    Thanks
