My wife recently switched from an iPhone to a Samsung and she can send texts but she can't receive them nor receive emails. Her iPhone has had her info removed and the settings have all been set to default. What else does she need to do to correct this?

I recently switched from a pc to the Mac and now I am unable to locate my music library in iTunes... any advice?
Your question is a little bit vague, can you be more specific? Are you trying to find your iTunes library on the PC so you can move it to the Mac? Have you already moved it to the Mac? Can you see the music in iTunes on the Mac, but want to find the folder where iTunes puts the music files?

I am confused about messaging. Shouldn't I be able to send and receive messages with cellular data off and without wifi? I can send the message but often do not receive messages from others, iPhone or other, until I turn on cellular or wifi.
Depends on the type of Message.
SMS messages will send and receive with data off. and while you can guarantee you send using SMS you cannot guarantee that whoever replies to you does also. They may be replying thorugh iMessage if they are using iPhones.
However Android should be sending through SMS.
You can turn off iMessage if you want to, though people with limtied SMS text messaging in their plans may not appreciate it, and stop messaging you. -
I recently switched from an iPhone to an Android phone. I cannot receive text messages because Apple will not "release" my number from iMessage. I see others have had the same issue. How did you solve the problem, if you did?

Call AppleCare and ask them to deactivate iMessage. It might take awhile to become effective.

I am trying to import cr2files from the camera into lightroom 5 and keep getting an error message saying Lightroom can not read the files and therefore will not import them. Has anyone had a similar problem….thanks
If you are having the same problem, i.e. a disk permission problem, open your favorite search engine and search on, "change disk permissions", and I think you'll find plenty of information on how to fix the problem. This is a Lightroom forum. Your problem is with your operating system. There is no sense in rewriting instructions that are already available if you do a simple search.

There's no way to "restore" your phone, but, you can login to iCloud.com, using your computer, locate your phone, then erase it.

I switched from my iPhone 4s to a Droid and I do not have that phone anymore. I can not recieve texts from anyone with an iPhone and can not get in contact with my girlfriend or siblings now. I think their phones are trying to send their texts as iMessages to my phone that does not recieve iMessages. How can I just delete my Apple account and recieve texts again?
Sounds like you didn't turn of iMessage on your iPhone before making the switch. If you registered your iPhone with Apple using a support profile, try going to https://supportprofile.apple.com/MySupportProfile.do and unregistering it. Also, try changing the password associated with the Apple ID that you were using for iMessage.

So I synched and downloaded all my pics from my iphone to my mac, and now for whatever reason I cannot actually see them. I go into iphoto, itunes and cannot access them. I see them in itunes and yet do not have th option to view. Any ideas...?
You can't open iPod touch, iPad and iPhone apps on the Mac. They use different operating systems that need different applications, so it's not possible to use your iPhone apps.
Instead, you have to look for other applications in the Mac App Store or the Internet, because you can install applications from wherever you want -

I would be happy to assist. We need to disable your old iPhone from iMessage. This will reroute all messages from your iPhone to your new device. This is very easy to do. All you have to do is text stop to 48369. You will see your text messages start coming in from everyone. Let me know how this works for you.

I cant send text message to android phone or even to my gmail account from iphone 4s. I have disabled iMessage and rebooted the phone. I have also reset my apple password with no luck. This is a corporate phone.

This is driving me crazy. I've down everything I can find online and even spoken to my network provider. Just not working.
Call AppleCare, & they will fix while you're on the phone. Ask to talk to "Account Security".

My iMessages work with most of my friends apart from the one that lives in the US,I'm in the UK,the number she uses is to log in,but when I type her name in it says not registered with iMessage,and I don't understand why,is it because with the added international code because I've tried with and without it with no success,please help
Something doesn't seem right here. If she has to use her email address as her contact address in order to message with you, that suggest to me that she either doesn't meet the requirements to use her iPhone number as the contact address (iOS 6 or later with an iPhone number linked to her Apple ID) or there is an issue with the way the phone number is being entered.
