Hi,
i got a question,
this is what i want i have an internetpage that doesn't have rss or someting, and i want it on my homescreen so i can look at it without pushing a button, now i thought maybe by bookmarks since it doesn't have an rss feed but i don't know if this is possible and if it is i don't know how to do it. So if anyone could help me?

You can't ! A couple of work arrounds would be to use Opera Mini as a shortcut, which would allow you to save 9 web pages in the window or leave browser open on the page you want, running in the background and hold menu button to show open apps. Also having Snaptu as a shortcut leaves you quick access to a lot of sites.

Also, note that the items in the bar are not "running" per se. They are suspended (technically, there's ways that they can register activities to occur "in the background", but the app itself is suspended).

Are widgets no longer part of Mavericks ?

Not only can I not enjoy my RSS screensavers anymore, but I've just discovered, upon finding my default translation widget is incorrect, I cannot download widgets anymore. Mavericks is one disappointment after another. What are my alternatives ? Are widgets being phased out for the app store ? I miss Mr. Jobs...

I went to the Apple site widgets page, found a widget called, "Translate," and downloaded it (https://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/travel/translate_jeroenwielandt.html). Upon opening it from my downloads folder, I get the prompt, " 'Translate' can't be opened because it is from an inidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers,"
Am I stuck finding this type of program as an app ? I enjoy the ease of switching between my widgets and my homescreen, but now that Mavericks has added... for lack of a better word than 'junk,' I'll say Mavericks has added more 'options,' I'll just have to purchase and add to my clutter a translation app from the store and switch between using my widgets page, my homescreen and second, third and fourth desktops that keep appearing. It's quite disappointing if this is my option.

I accidently deleted or removed download folder from something on homescreen called pages ?

Pages is a simple, but effective, little word processing package along the lines of MS Word. If you go to the Apps Store and sign up there's every chance you'll be able to download it again from there.
When you purchase a new Mac product, it gives you the option to sign up to the iCloud with your chosen user name ie, [email protected]
So in the first instance I would sign in and go to the App Store - search for Pages and you should be able to download it from there. It's a very useful Word Processing page but you'll also see several others there too and you can choose. I don't use Pages but it all depends on whether you have a requirement for a Word Processing package. There are loads of others on the App Store.

We just did the iPhone update ios 6. The screen is frozen with the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB cale across the screen. none of the buttons respond.The phone does not recognize the apple USB when connected. If it's not being recognized while it's in recovery mode in your itunes, try this
plug the phone into the usb attached to the computer
hold down the home and sleep/wake button on top simultaneously until the phone's screen goes black
When the screen goes black, release your finger from the sleep/week button on top but continue holding the home button until you see a dialog on the itunes screen on your computer that says 'itunes has detected a device in recovery mode'
then say 'ok,' select 'restore,' and say 'restore and update'

When i restart my ipod touch it does not bring me to the homescreen?

You interrupted the update which corrupted the operating system of your iPod. It is normal for the update to takea long time. There have been people saying it took 2 hours to update. It is normal for the progress bar to sit at 0 for a while before it starts moving. The only way to recover your iPod since the operating system is corrupted is to do a DFU restore.

Once the iPod is in DFU mode, iTunes will say that the iPod needs to be restored. This is normal. Select restore on the Summary page for your iPod in iTunes.

If you can't find the Systems app on any of your homescreens or app folders, then can you find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right) ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? As long as the app remains in the store then you can re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or via the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
Similarly ibooks can be re-downloaded, and depending upon what country that you are in then music, films and tv shows may also be re-downloadable (if they remain available in the store).

Why all newly installed Apps appear on the second page of Launchpad?

I'm new to Mac (1y now). Using 10.7.5 on my MacBook Air.
Every time I install an App it appears in the second page of Launchpad and since I don't want to have a second page, I move it back into one of my App groups on the first page, erase the empty page, and next time I install an App it happens again! What's wrong with the endless open space I still have on the first page? Why is that not good enough?

Slightly bumping because I believe I understand this strange phenomena...
It would appear that the iPhone allows you to create folders, but the device still treats these apps even when they are put in folders as if they take a "Space" on the homescreen. That being said if you have more than a few third party applications installed they would " if you were to unfolder all your apps" end up on the second page.
Please tell me I am wrong and this is a joke...

Safari always opens at the last web page viewed. How can I make google the default opening page?

You can't but you can navigate to Google and add that to your homescreen as a shortcut. Press the arrow on the bottom.

How many homescreens do you have on your iPad ? There is a limit of 11 after which they can only be accessed via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right). If that is the case then you could connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and use the screen mock-ups on the device's Apps tab to move your apps into app folders so that more apps are visible (you should be able to access the non-visible homescreens on that tab as well).
Or do you have an app age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

Web Page for LT18i ??

Help!! I bought this sony LT18i and then accidently the web page got deleted on first day. Now I want to re-install the web page. I cant open any web page the sony companion is also useless as it doesn help in getting the web page back .How can I do it or anybody can tell me how to reboot whole phone. What software to download..how?? the Shop from where I bought the Phone is unable to help .thnx

what do you mean "web page"? are you refering to the browser? open the app drawer > look for the browser > press and hold until it vibrates then drag it to the homescreen

My phone wont display the homescreen after rebooting. Gets stuck on the logo

after i updated my phone like 3 or 4 days ago, my q5 phone was telling me to restart it after i open some applications, i restarted it but it doesnt go past the blackberry sign to the homescreen page. even when i try to turn it off, it just restarts itself again, repeating the same process.

It sounds perhaps like something went wrong during the update...a clean reload might be needed. Start first with a complete backup via LINK as well as full manual documentation of your desired settings, accounts, configurations, add-on apps, etc.
First, start with trying a reload via LINK:

If that fails, then try a reload via AutoLoader and this process:
