Na Data available in SFLIGHT, SCARR etc tables by Default after installatio

Hi Everyone,
I have successfully managed to install the SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 ABAP Trial Version. I can now login using user BCUSER. However when I checked SAP's standard training tables such as SCARR, SFLIGHT etc from package SAPBC_DATAMODEL. There are no database entries.
Are there any post processing steps that needs to be done in order to import data in these tables?

Printing data available in an SAPUI5 tree table control / Model

Hello Experts,
I have a JSON model, which holds the data coming from an MII BLS transction.
A Tree table is bound to the JSON model. Also, based on the "Expand" icon click on each row in Tree table, I load some data from the back-end dynamically and insert into my JSON model.
My next course of action is to "Print" the data which is currently held by the tree table only. I don't want to print other UI controls which are present on the screen.
Moreover, the table has a scroll bar. Irrespective of the scroll bar, I want to print all the data which is contained in side the tree table (and hence the model).
Is there anyway I can achieve this? I went through few posts like: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3394127
The question is remotely connected, but it gives me an impression that a particular "UI" control cannot be printed directly.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I now understand that it is not really possible to print a UI control directly. the framework doesn't support any kind of functionality/API for this.
As suggested in this post that you have shared, it is not feasible for us to change the CSS and why are going to display the data in the table in another page, without keeping any scroll/pagination constraint. Thereafter, we'll print it using Ctrl+P.

Dev TR have to delete the Z Table data available in Quality and Prod sytems

Hi Friends,
I have added two new fields as primary key fields in a Z TABLE, which is existing in Quality and Production Systems with Data.
I incorporated these two new fields (Primary Key fields) in development. If the TR is moved to Quality and Production sytems, the TR have to delete the data available for that table in Quality and Production sytems. For this what I have to do in the Development System.
Please suggest me how to clear this.
I have checked in SCN and not find relevant threads.

the best thing would be to write a query and transport it to both the systems and then execute in the respective systems to delete it.....
write the query in the t-code - SQVI transaction

BW..No more storage space available for extending an internal Table

Hi;
In function module - RSAR_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED
During Data loading from ERP to BW client am getting an error in SM58 in ERP as ""No more storage space available for extending an internal Table "".
There is a dump in BW system   TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED
"".I checked all the parameters for roll area,paging , etc..everything is fine. Also tried with packet size smaller ..still i am getting this error ..

SQL Report not showing data - available in SQL Workshop and SQL Developer

I am having an issue with developing a SQL Report in APEX 3.2.1. I run the code in both SQL developer and SQL Workshop and I get data pulled back (both against my development environment). When I run the same code in a SQL Report region, it returns no data available. Does anyone have any idea what would be causing this? Other regions on the page accessing different tables in the same schema return data without issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Could you explain the last comment a bit more. Here is a bit more info just in case I touch on the info with it. The db schema is BPAMGR, the Workspace is BPAMGR. We use the same schema for all of our reporting. All of our tables are in the same schema. We don't use any tables outside of this schema. Our APEX workspace has been associated to only this schema. The tables are able to be queried by SQL Workshop in the same APEX instance that the report application is under.

No system load data available in st03

Dear Guru,
When i am executing Tcode ST03 it is showing that "No system load data available"
when i am executing "RSSTAT83" report then its thriwing "LOGDB_SSCR_NOT_FOUND" dump.
statndard job getting cancelled thats why i hae change the status of all standard btc jobs.
but system is still too much slow. Right now there is no job running.my patch level is also 14 of both abap & basis.
What to do......

this kind of error belongs to In correct time Zones, OS Time and R/3 Time was different, please set both time zones same in all clients using STZAC Tcode
again if not slove your problem then fallow this procedure.
It is possible that the workload collector is not schedule. To schedule the collector, choose, in Expert user mode, Collector -> Perf. Monitor Collector -> Execution Times in the left subscreen. The system displays the Contents of table TCOLL screen. Ensure that the report RSSTAT83 is scheduled hourly.
if not scheduled hourly, then execute aboue report in SE38

Several dates in the same field and table

Hey!
I need dates of different work phases, in order to calculate the duration of each phase separately in SAP-Query. The dates are situated in the same tables and fields (f.ex. actual start dates of work phase 1, phase 2, phase 3, etc. are all located in table AFVV and field ISDD). But I need them separately. So is the only option to create separate fields for the dates of each work phase?

Loading data from .csv file into existing table

Hi,
I have taken a look at several threads which talk about loading data from .csv file into existing /new table. Also checked out Vikas's application regarding the same. I am trying to explain my requirement with an example.
I have a .csv file and I want the data to be loaded into an existing table. The timesheet table columns are -
timesheet_entry_id,time_worked,timesheet_date,project_key .
The csv columns are :
project,utilization,project_key,timesheet_category,employee,timesheet_date , hours_worked etc.
What I needed to know is that before the csv data is loaded into the timesheet table is there any way of validating the project key ( which is the primary key of the projects table) with the projects table . I need to perform similar validations with other columns like customer_id from customers table. Basically the loading should be done after validating if the data exists in the parent table. Has anyone done this kind of loading through the APEX utility-data load.Or is there another method of accomplishing the same.
Does Vikas's application do what the utility does ( i am assuming that the code being from 2005 the utility was not incorporated in APEX at that time). Any helpful advise is greatly appreciated.

Short dump - No more storage space available for extending an internal tabl

Hi All,
I have requirement in which my program generates a text file on my presentation server. Here my problem is, this requirement can not be executed in back ground, it should be done in foreground only. When I execute in foreground, if the data records comes to some 38 lacks then I am getting a short dump saying 'No more storage space available for extending an internal table'.
And in dump analysis under WHAT HAPPENED section it is giving as
' What happened?                                                                                |
|    You attempted to extend an internal table, but the required space was                         |
|    not available.
Please suggest me, what I have to do in this case?

Comparison of Data Loading techniques - Sql Loader & External Tables

Below are 2 techniques using which the data can be loaded from Flat files to oracle tables.
1)     SQL Loader:
a.     Place the flat file( .txt or .csv) on the desired Location.
b.     Create a control file
Load Data
Infile "Mytextfile.txt" (-- file containing table data , specify paths correctly, it could be .csv as well)
Append or Truncate (-- based on requirement) into oracle tablename
Separated by "," (or the delimiter we use in input file) optionally enclosed by
(Field1, field2, field3 etc)
c.     Now run sqlldr utility of oracle on sql command prompt as
sqlldr username/password .CTL filename
d.     The data can be verified by selecting the data from the table.
Select * from oracle_table;
2)     External Table:
a.     Place the flat file (.txt or .csv) on the desired location.

b.     Create a directory

c.     After granting appropriate permissions to the user, we can create external table like below.

External tables feature is a complement to existing SQL*Loader functionality.
It allows you to –
•     Access data in external sources as if it were in a table in the database.
•     Merge a flat file with an existing table in one statement.
•     Sort a flat file on the way into a table you want compressed nicely
•     Do a parallel direct path load -- without splitting up the input file, writing
Shortcomings:
•     External tables are read-only.
•     No data manipulation language (DML) operations or index creation is allowed on an external table.
Using Sql Loader You can –
•     Load the data from a stored procedure or trigger (insert is not sqlldr)
•     Do multi-table inserts
•     Flow the data through a pipelined plsql function for cleansing/transformation
Comparison for data loading
To make the loading operation faster, the degree of parallelism can be set to any number, e.g 4
So, when you created the external table, the database will divide the file to be read by four processes running in parallel. This parallelism happens automatically, with no additional effort on your part, and is really quite convenient. To parallelize this load using SQL*Loader, you would have had to manually divide your input file into multiple smaller files.
Conclusion:
SQL*Loader may be the better choice in data loading situations that require additional indexing of the staging table. However, we can always copy the data from external tables to Oracle Tables using DB links.

Data should get inserted in all tables if i enter the form field only once

Hi, I have a new question again.
There are 5 tables in a database, that is t1, t2, t3, t4 & t5. the first 4 table has one common column, known as lc_no. I have build the form using the form builder. In that form, there is a 1 text field for lc_no. I have not started to code anything as yet in the form because everything with respect to it is working fine and even the data is getting inserted. But the problem is that, when i enter the data in the form, the lc_no gets loaded in only one table. I want the data to get inserted in all the tables. What should i code? How should i start off? I'm very new to this & don't exactly know how do i start with it ?

Table 3 have lc-no , other column,
Now in form(which has table1 as base table)
In PRe-Insert write like below
Insert into table2 (lc_no) values (:table1.lc_no) here tabel1 should be block name in form.
Insert into table3 (lc_no) values (:table1.lc_no)
................and so on .. to other table.
So, now when user commits the form, the lc_no will be available in all the other tables..

I am using Function Module : VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION in FI related Sales Order Report to get
configuration data for fields Model/Engine and Line no.
when the program executed in Production environment, It is giving Runtime Error TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED.
ShrtText : No storage space available for extending an internal table.
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLIBINF" in "SELECT_INSTANCES_01" . its all happening
in the above FM.
Is there any possibility to get configuration data (Model/Engine and Line no) with out using FM.
please advise me on how you would like to proceed related to this issue.
