National characters in pages, accessed through Application/URl

Jambo all!
I hope you can help me with this little problem:
1. I've created application and added URL item to it
2. URL is pointing to an external ASP page (I hope that fact that this is an ASP page does not influent the behavior)
3. I've published it as a portlet and added it to a page.
Everything is working OK except our national accented characters - they rae all converted to '?' sometime in the process of rendering page. There really are question marks instead of proper characters in the source code so any usage of browser encoding or meta tags in html is useless ;(
The question is - how can I convince page (URL) rendering system to leave my national characters intact?

I made JSP page with code page 1250 with characters specific to this code page. In JDeveloper everything looks OK. Compiled page (Java file) also shows good, but when I open it in Web browser all national characters are lost (question marks instead of letters). Can anybody help me to solve this problem?
Note: JDeveloper is configured to mentioned code page.

Thanks but it's just my desktop that doesn't see it though. My notebook sees it everytime, even at the same exact time that my desktop doesn't see it. For example yesterday when I was typing up this post, I was typing up the post on my notebook because my desktop didn't see the router. I don't think it has anything to do with the router actually, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has encountered this issue before. Other forums have similar issues but I've tried all of the fixes I found elsewhere and they didn't work.
Any other ideas?

How to restrict the Users to access other application URL on same machine?

We have one Oracle 10g AS server, hostname "abc", this server having two services named "DSS" and "RBL".
Our requriement is how we can restrict the URL "http://abc.xyz.com:7777/forms/frmservlet?config=rbl" from user access, because both DSS and RBL having same URL.
Can we change port 7777 for RBL service?

Not able to access the application through URL in clustered environment.

Hi,
I recently depoyed my application on clustered environment of weblogic 8.1 SP4.
Now I am able to access the application through the managed server name with port number but not able to access through URL.
For ex
http://machine1:7001/test/login.do?m=begin
this is accessible
If I use
http://test.domain.com/test/login.do?m=begin
Then application is not accessible.
any HTML or JSP page page is in reach by both the URL.
Please suggest me what should I do in this regard.

I meant to ask are you able to see the application you created in Hyperion Planning Login page,if yes try accessing the created application through Hyperion Planning(Try restarting Planning Services once even if you are able to launch hyperion planning page) url "http://servername:8300/HyperionPlanning and selecting the application you created.
And also could you please let me know if you are logging in to workspace through admin username ? and also check if you are able to see the application in shared services and try to provision any group on that application.
(The Assumptions are if application is not created successfully then it will not be available in workspace to launch and if its in maintainance mode (Application Maintenance Mode) in Application Settings and last would be check OHS and Hyperion Planning Services)

Access Web Dynpro Java application through direct URL

Hi Guys,
we have a requirement that there is a link in web dynpro abap screen, click on it will open a new ie window running web dynpro java application, so what i did is i have given direct url link for that web dynpro java application:
as this:
https://servername:50001/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/ess~lea/TeamView
but after i clicked on this url, it pop up 1 window, after i entered id & passoword, it is showing this wd java appl, but there is 1 grey image on top of the view & "welcome xxxx"; below that is the actual view from wd java.
the layout is :

how to remove the grey image & the "welcome xxx"? it looks like masthead but we dun need it.

Hi Feng,
Actually what you are seeing using the application URL and after giving the credentials on Portal is a portal screen which carries the theme as well. Therefore, you will be able to see the masthead with header and Portal User Name. So, use the URL generated by preview of a web dynpro iView in your component to avoid the masthead.

Access is denied while accessing .js file through OHS URL

I have a strange issue, can somone share your thoughts Please,
We have deployed deployed the WebCenterPortal application into the server, and it is working fine if we access it through the deployed server url, but,
we have a http server(Oracle HTTP Server)to protect the deployed applications url, here when iam trying to access the same deployed url using http server url, it is working fine for all the pages but not for some pages , it showing the below error,

we have Webcenter Portal servers on Linux box, and OHS is on Windows box,
We are able to access all the pages but some pages its throwing the java script error mentioned above, we have not included any javascript code inside the pages, that core-11.1.1.6.0-1318.js could be a framework javascript file,

Cannot access Siebel application through browser

Hi,
We have installed Siebel demo quickstart SIA 8.1.1 in one laptop.The Siebel application works fine. The only problem is that we cannot access the Siebel application through a browser. We have to launch the Siebel application from Windows program menu.We need to set up the Siebel application so that we can access it through IE browser. There are some settings that need to be set up in the .cfg files to make the application available trough Internet Explorer.
We have already tried using the url http://servername:8081/callcenter_enu/start.swe? But it returns "page cannot be displayed". We are accessing the application from the host computer.

Are you able to connect with dedicate client?
if yes, then you just to need to verify setting/configuration for web server. Which can be found in installation guide.
Also could you please share logs. Error you are getting is quite generic and have multiple symptoms.
Have you tried to search on Oracle Support. There is complete article available for this error.

Sending a url parameter in web Access 2013 application

So we are using a sharepoint Access 2013 application form to enter in data that then uploads to a backend db. The form essentially is a series of reports with a report date and ID, etc. What we are trying to do is find a way to pass a url parameter that
will open up our Access 2013 site to a specific report. Currently if you use the URL in the address box its just a default URL that would open up at the default page of our application. We want it more precise so people don't have to click and
search for the specific report but that it just opens up to the report in question. Does anyone know how to do this? Please let me know if you need more information.

Effort to bump this up by giving more info:
So I have a sharepoint site with the url like this:
//Microsoft.445(various).sharepoint.com/reports/default.aspx#Tile=History
So this would take us to the Report site and go directly to the History tab of the page. For this example it would be a running list of reports from say the last month going back 5 years. When you go to this site it defaults to the newest report
so say a report from July 31st and lets say it has a report id of 12335. What I am looking to do is be able to go to a specific report id so lets say I want to give a link for people to go to a report from May 5th with a report id of 12201.
You would think following simple language conventions I would be able to simply add in to the URL above an addition of &ReportID=12201 This does not work however. I've also tried another example I saw in which you add in a where clause
so it would be an addition of Where==reported=12201 This also did not work. Whenever I enter these in it still just defaults to the July 31st report. I cannot seem to find a way to get it to go to a specific report.
Any suggestions?

Accessing new application using direct Hyperion Planning web client URL

I added new Hyperion Planning application. From standard workspace URL [http://demodrive:19000/workspace/index.jsp], I can now access new application.
However, when I use the direct Hyperion Planning web client URL [http://demodrive:8300/HyperionPlanning/LogOn.jsp], new application is not included as one of available applications to select. What am I missing?

Hi,
I find it a little strange that you can see the planning application through workspace but not directly, I would usually expect problems the other way round.
One thing to check for if that you don't have multiple planning instances, check in the configuration utility, you could have an instance pointing to one set of apps and another instance pointing to a different set of apps.
Though saying this I would expect workspace to show the same apps as going directly.

Well,
it's up to you. The first part (Mcit-Project-ViewController-context-root) is the context root which you define in the view controller project. 'faces' is the name the servlet filter reacts on. You can't omit it but shorten it in web.xml. The rest is your directory structure. I'm not sure how to shorten this other as to move the jspx files back into the web root folder.
By the way an ADF faces app never uses the .jspx at the end of the url. If you specify '.jspx', you only render the page but don't start the work flow.

Shouldn't Pages, Numbers, and Keynote show version 9.?? My MAC confirned installation of v9.0.3 and even accepted the software code. With this discrepancy, how can I determine if the latest was installed and operational? I even downloading v9.0.4, 9.0.5, and 9.1. When I tried installing these downloads it popped up note stating that a later version of Keynote was already installed.

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

Page not found error getting while access endeca application

Hi All,
I am trying to create an application in endeca. Created application , ran neccessary scripts and created pages in experience manager.
but when i try to call the application in browser . i am getting page not found error. There are some other application which is created by copying discover electronics ,
which works fine. Please help me how can i resolve this issue. I am using endeca 3.1.0.

There's not much to go on here, but it sounds like you're trying to view changes in a "live" application. To confirm this, you should execute the configuration promotion script and then check the same application URL. You can run the promote script from inside workbench. Log in as admin, then look under "Workbench Home > Administration > Admin Console > Scripts." You should execute the "PromoteAuthoringToLive" script. Once this script is complete, then test your page again.
If this works, then it means that your application is configured such that it doesn't get immediately notified of new configuration changes, i.e. it's configured in "live" mode.

If you can access Facebook while on Wifi at home, but you are unable to access it while away running on your carrier's 2G network, I could phone your carrier. Using apex url to link to a page in another application

i have 5 applications based on same schema in a single workspace. now i intent to have a single page with 5 button from where i will call all those 5 applications' home pages.
i used following syntax for URL Target on a button to check it but it didnt work.

i can very easily to a page in same application (offcourse) but i want to ask that can we link to a page which is in another application in same workspace
