Native signing not supported on mac!!

To sign both the installer and its executable we're using Thawte and Comodo certificates. For MacOS we've Thawte and Apple. This following command builds a proper signed installer version (along with its executable .exe) with the combination of both the certificates, in Windows:
adt -package -storetype pkcs12 -keystore myCert.pfx -target native -storetype pkcs12 -keystore myCert.pfx myApp.exe myApp.airi
(http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/build/WS789ea67d3e73a8b22388411123785d839c-8000.html)
When running the same command to compile a .dmg file - ADT reported an error:
Native signing not supported on mac
I'm not sure if the adt doesn't has the ability to do such process in MacOS unlike Windows! Any idea?

Hello Ken,
Thanks for commenting. But that 'solution' already tested and its found not true with recent AIR SDK version.
If you do this:
adt -package -storetype pkcs12 -keystore myCert.pfx -storetype pkcs12 -keystore myCert.pfx myApp.exe myApp.airi -target native
You'll have compiler error:
"-storetype already specified", and you can see why in the command
If you do this:
adt -package -storetype pkcs12 -keystore myCert.pfx native -storetype pkcs12 -keystore myCert.pfx myApp.exe myApp.airi -target
You'll again have compiler error:
"not enough argument"
I don't think this have a fix yet.

  • This ANE does not support Desktop(Mac) platform

    I'm getting the following error when I try to add an ANE to my mobile project.
    This ANE does not support Desktop(Mac) platform
    I'm using Flash Builder 4.7.(Air 3.7) The iOS SDK path has been set. I've tried to just ignore the error and just apply settings but this causes and error. I'm having the problem with all ANE files. The Target is showing up as Google and iOS so I'm not sure why it thinks I'm trying to run on the desktop.

    Created a new mobile project and still getting the same problem. I think it's a Flash Builder 4.7 issue.

    Error: native VM not supported
    Stopping Pointbase server...
    Pointbase server stopped.

    I believe this is the error you get when you try to start up a JVM with the commandline option '-native'.
    Remove this flag from your startup script and retry.
    By the way, it may be that you have the environment variable 'JAVA_OPTIONS' set to '-native' in which case:
    (first confirm this is the case)
    $ echo $JAVA_OPTIONS
    -native
    (Then edit the startup script if you get the result above)
    add in a line:
    # To remove '-native' flag
    unset JAVA_OPTIONS
    and retry.
    I have to confess I don't know what the '-native' flag is actually supposed to do, but my JVM also reports back that this is unsupported.

  • Error: native VM not supported

    Hi
    I have just run the blackbox application in the javacomms API download:
    1) I invoked it using the prescribed command java -native blackbox to which I got the error native VM not supported.
    2) I then ran it again without the -native switch and got the error Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: blackbox.
    Can anyone help please? Is there something I have not installed correctly? I am using Windows XP professional service pack 1.
    Thanks
    Chris Wilson

    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundErrorThat always means that either your classpath is wrong or that isn't the name of the class.

  • Elements 12 slideshow not supported by Mac?

    Hi, I have just upgraded my Elements 10 to 12 and the Slideshow function is not supported by Mac.  Does anyone know if this is an action taken by Apple or Abobe please.

    The mac version of PSE has never had the slide show editor nor watched folders. There was a kind of a sort of a slideshow in some mac versions, but it was basically just a multi-page pdf.

    hi i m using agency Fb font  but it is not support in mac apple and my css code is
    @font-face { font-family: 'Agency FB Bold';
    src: url('../fonts/agency_fb_bold.eot');
    src: url('../fonts/agency_fb_bold.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'), url('../fonts/agency_fb_bold.svg#Agency FB Bold') format('svg'), url('../fonts/agency_fb_bold.woff') format('woff'), url('../fonts/agency_fb_bold.ttf') format('truetype');
    font-weight: bold;

    Then don't use it. You should always stick to built-in fonts or at least use fallback fonts and make sure your site looks good with those too.

  • BENQ FP241W on Retina Macbook Pro - native resolution not supported?

    Hi there,
    I have tried connecting my BENQ FP241W monitor to my new Macbook Pro with retina display via HDMI.
    The monitor appears to be displaying at only 1600x900 and looks very blurry since the native resolution of the monitor is 1920x1200. I have actually tried this with an older 2009 model macbook pro and the same thing happend, although I was using a dispaly port to HDMI adaptor and never investigated further to the reason the native resolution was not supported.
    Going back to the Retina Macbook and the BENQ FP241W. It gives the following resolution options for scaled: 1080p, 1080i and 1600x900. When I choose 1080p or 1080i it looks the same as 1600x900 i.e very blury and not even close to the sharpness that is capable of the display - true 1080p should look sharper than how it looks selected so I dont believe it is actually displaying 1080p. It also has the option for 'best for display' which I would expect it to show native resolution of 1920x1200 - unfortunately it still apears to be 1600x900.
    Can anyone help me out? Is this a driver issue or something else?
    Thanks
    Rich

    I can sort this out by just using a HDMI > DVI cable which works fine. I think there must just be an issue with the BenQ HDMI input supporting 1920x1200. Its annoying because the screen is also connected to a PC workstation by DVI so it would be good to have the HDMI for the Macbook so I can quickly switch the display by pressing a button instead of having to unplug cables...

  • Pound sign (#) not supported for automated dial

    Hi,
    I need to automate calling to IVR systems. I can add arbitrary pause and extension number like:
    [NSURL URLWithString: @"tel:1112223333,1,1,1234"]
    The problem is, when I add "#" sign at the end as requested by the IVR, the URL call doesn't work.
    I saw a few complaints about this issue in the discussion, but I need to confirm before giving up
    this critical feature in my application.
    I know that iPhone native "Contacts" application supports "#" and "*" signs in the dial number.
    So, what I tried is:
    (1) set up an entry in the Address Book,
    (2) call "ABPersonViewController" with the Address Book record in my application and
    (3) let user click the button to initiate the call
    I believe, this is the same function as "Contacts" application calls, but unfortunately, it didn't work. When I add "#" anywhere in the number, the button fails to initiate a call.
    I thought, this might be due to some kind of privilege protection (support "#" only for iPhone native applications???).
    Or am I missing some secret sauce for handing these special characters?
    Any comment will be appreciated.

    Just checked and it works fine, so this is an X problem.

  • Native Process Not Supported in Flash Builder 4.1

    Hi,
    I am using Flash Builder 4.1 and I am trying with native processing with the example from http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/flex/quickstart/articles/interacting_with_native_process.h tml. When I tried to run the project in Flash Builder, it shows "NativeProcess not supported.". However, after I export release build, the application is working properly.
    How can I have the native process to be able to run in Flash builder? So that it will be easier for me to test and troubleshoot the application. Thanks.

    You need to add the following line in your  ***-app.xml file for debugging mode
    <supportedProfiles>extendedDesktop</supportedProfiles>
    and
    <supportedProfiles>extendedDesktop desktop</supportedProfiles>
    for release build

  • HP Envy 5530 'Device is not supported' on Mac OSX 10.7

    I have installed the software for the Envy 5530 but when I close the installer and go to HP Utility I get the message "The device is not supported' Updating HP Utility or using other HP Software that is designed to support this device may solve this problem.' HP Utility is useless. What other HP Software can I download?!

    HI, I also had this same issue and finally worked out a solution.
    Just to summarise: I had two Macbooks 10.7.4, iPhone, iPad, airport express and netgear evg2000 router. They all worked wirelessly one minute then stopped. I could wirelessly connect to the printer, print test pages, view the queue, view supplies but any print would appear in the queue as 100% complete or 1% or 12% but never actually print out.
    I logged in to the embedded web server (ews) on the printer, went to network, advanced settings-bonjour and changed the Bonjour Highest Priority Service to '9100 printing' instead of 'LDP'. I then deleted the printer from the print function in system prefs, re added it and it worked. I had to turn the iPhone and iPad off and on and they worked.
