Need help in retrieving a varchar in a web application.

HI,
I need a urgent help in selecting a varchar column on to the web application.
Here are I am using the DB as MSSQL. I can see more than 1000 characters when I open the table in Enterprise Manager, but the same query if I excute in SQL Query Analyser, I see the result with only 256 characters. In the same way my Java application is working. In my DB table I have a column with nvarchar and I want to write to code to get that infomration of 2000characters on to the web page.

However, the interesting thing here is that the SQL
analyzer displays the same 256 charater for the select statement...So you see 1000 using one MS tool and 256 using another tool? And neither of these have anything to do with java.
Hmmm.....to me that suggests that it has nothing to do with java.
If it was me I would start looking at my assumptions about where the data is coming from:
-Is it the same database?
-Is it the same table?
-Is it the same row?
-Is it the same field?
-Is something modifying it while I am looking at it?

Need help in reporting of protected resources in web application

Hi,
I am using form based authentication for viewing protected resources of my web application. By j_security_check, it authenticates the user and if authentication is successful, then user can view protected resources of the site.
Now I want to generate a report of which protected resources are accessed by which user along with its timestamp.
Now my question is can I generate this report by j_security_check. I am not sure how should I call my ReportingDAO from web tier as with j_security_check the whole authentication is done by container itself.

Try this fix discovered by User photosb189:
From Finder, hold down the option key on your keyboard and click on the Go menu at the top of the screen
Select Library from the drop down menu
Then navigate to Application Support > iLifeAssetManagement > assets
Right click on the 'sub' folder and choose Compress
Drag the resulting zip file to your Desktop (as a backup)
Go to your System Preferences and choose iCloud
Turn OFF the iCloud Photos option
Go back to Library > Application Support and DELETE the iLifeAssetManagement folder
Now, in System Preferences, turn the iCloud Photos option ON
iPhoto should now be able to launch. Give it enough time to re-download your Photo Stream content. if you are missing any of your My Photo Stream photos (more than 30 days old), unzip the sub folder on your desktop and drag that into iPhoto.

Hi i need help please!! Im desperate!!
Everytime i log on apple and try to change my security questions. It takes me back to the log in page as soon as i press on password and security tab and i get this message ( an unknown error has occured ) i really dont know what to do i am not able to buy anything on app store because everytime i try to purchase it asks for my security questions which i have forgotten... I live in egypt btw. And i almost exceeded my security questions attempts :S.

I am not able to understand anything from the error message which you have pasted. But I have successfully deployed the primavera web access for company.
I have written down the steps properly using some images also for my future reference in a M.S. Word document.

I have a Ztable with primary key.The table gets automatically sorted on primary key
But I want to retrieve the ztable data in the order in which i enter data in to table.
EXAMPLE :
I enter data as : mydata
action

When i retrieve this data internal table should be filled in the same order.

You will need to change your table to use a number as the first key field (after the client) which you increase by 1 each time you make a new entry. Alternatively you can add a data/time stamp to the end of your table and use this to sort your internal table once you've extracted the records.

I expect that I should be able to be retrieved the login name as INTRANET\Guest. However, this is not the case, and I got INTRANET/Guest instead. By looking at the value of req.getPathInfo() of the 1st line, the path has already been wrongly interpreted as:
/media-type/html/user/INTRANET/Guest/page/...
Is there any way I can get the same parameter if "/" character is included? On the other hand, I want to reference the source code of Servlet 2.2 or above, but I can't find it available from java.sun.com, while the only v2.1.1 available here is simply a rubbish. Please help.

Thank you for your reply. However, because I'm trying to modify the open source, and the login name is hard-coded appended into the path, where effort modifying this is very huge. It will be very convenient if I ca n find an alternative to get the value of getPathInfo() but with "\", or I can reach the source code and modify it straightly.
However, I can't imagine even Servlet 2.2+ source code (2.1.1 is available, but no use) is not made available by anywhere of java.sun.com, including the SCSL. What's so-called open source?!

Canon EOS Camera T3- took pictures, but not seeing it on viewer? Need Help to retrieve.

The camera was giving me a sound as if it was taking the picture, but unfortunately, when I try to locate it on the preview viewer, I could not find it.
As well, I also took a few pictures, and saw them on the viewer,but can't retrieve them on my computer.

You probably need a new SD card. At any rate you need to try one and see if that is the problem,

Hi, I could get results with the native query in my TOAD, but I can't get it working in my session EJB. I tried both native query and EJB ql. The query created fine, as soon as I try to retrieve results, it gets stuck.
My native query looks like this:

Frank, thank you for your reply. I have this code in my session Facade EJB, and I get the NPE in my backing bean which calls this method. When I debug the code, it appears what really cuases the problem is in this code on the line I try to assign the query result to my variable 'sumAmt = (Double)query.getSingleResult();'. In the debug, when it reaches this line, it starts to give me all kinds of pop-up windows saying couldn't find this file or that file or packages. If I get a stack trace later, I will post it. Right now I am trying to fix something else.

Laptop broken and music deleted from iphone5 - I need help to retrieve itunes?

My old laptop has broken and at the same time my music has been deleted from my iphone5 (silly mistake by my husband to free more space for newborn photos!). I am not very technologically advanced with this sort of thing - can anyone tell me if it is possible for me to retrieve my itunes somehow? I can use another laptop. My itunes library was made up of a mixture of imported CDs and tunes purchased from itunes store. Just music on there. Any help greatly appreciated.

Depends on exactly what happened to the old laptop, but it may well be possible to extract the drive, put it in an enclosure, then retrieve your iTunes library and other data from it.

Your data is only where you put it. It is your responsibility to backup your content.
Nothing should only be on the iPhone.
Everything should live on your computer/cloud service. The iPhone just allows it to be portable.
As provided, you can redownload some iTunes purchases in some countries.
