Need help in SAP CRM

Hi guys,
I am working as a technical consultant in ABAP. Now i want to change my career to SAP CRM as a techno-functional. I worked as a CRM technical consultant (IC WebClient) for 1 year also. I faced some interviews in SAP CRM but they are not asking me about technical's upon which i worked for the last 1 year. Anybody there can suggest me how can i pursue my career in SAP CRM. Guys, anybody can provide me what type of questions i have to face in an interview.

As a SAP CRM Functional Consultant you need to have the following knowledge.
1. You should be in a position to talk about the business process of the various Industries.
2. According to that you need to suggest where SAP CRM fits for their business requirement.
3. How can we Configure SAP CRM to suit the requirements of the client.
4. The basic functionality of SAP CRM - Marketing, Sales, Service & Analytics. 
5. The functional process of Marketing, Sales, Service & Analytics.
6. Sales & Service scenarios based on IC Win & Web Clients.
7. Mobile Sales & Internet Sales Processes.
I hope you may aware that where an ABAPer fits in these solutions.
Majorly you should be in a position to aware that the Standard Configuration settings which are provided by SAP CRM.
You may follow the Best Practices for more information.

    You need a couple of months of time to attend the following courses and couple of more years for really working in few projects to understand Well that is for people like me.
    CR010 - CRM Basics,
    CR100 - CRM Overview,
    CR300 - CRM Sales,
    CR800 - E-Commerce with CRM and
    CR850 - E-Commerce with R/3
    Okay, for the programming skills, you need very good Java / Web Application development experience. The application (ISA) is a simple Java based Web application (not a J2EE application) built on Struts framework. So, a good knowledge / experience of Struts is a big plus.
    The [E-Commerce Enhancement / modification guide|https://websmp210.sap-ag.de/sapdownload/011000358700000469462006E/] is THE reference for ISA enhancements. I can not emphasize more on this.     It is also good to have ABAP development and debugging knowledge to do good development. Basic understanding of the request - response cycle - the Java to ABAP integration are all good topics to focus and learn.

  • Need help for use crm fields into EJB2

    hello i need help.
    i have one db table (table_1):
    id_1
    field_1
    nad the second table that depends from the tale 1:
    id_2
    fields
    id_1
    id_1 is the field that join the table 2 with the table 1.
    can anybody helps me to implemet this relationship into the xml files and into the java class?
    into the java class for the second table i have:
    public abstract long getId_1();
    public abstract void setId_1(long Id_1);
    public abstract long getId_2();
    public abstract void setId_2(long Id_2);
    public abstract String getField();
    public abstract void setField(String field);
    how must i reference the relation into the bean and into the confdiguration xml files (i use Weblogic 8 and EJB 2.1)

  • Need guidance on SAP CRM PCUI

    Hi Experts,
    Currently am working on portal in service management of SAP CRM.
    Can any one guide me, name of the  standred BSP application controle the PUCI screen .
    my problem is doing with the Master/Duplicate function.
    Show status field associated with each duplicate when viewing the duplicates attached to a master.  That is, when the master in being processed and the "Duplicates" tab is hit, show the status of each individual duplicate.
    Have a link between the duplicate and the actual ticket.  That is, when you click on the duplicate, under the "Duplicates" tab, it opens that ticket.

      There are some badis, with whom you can get the results but since I am not aware of that Master/Duplicat function related application lies under wat so I cant find it for you..  see it is likely that you are having GTS related application or the Parts or some replacement related application that is under CRM, you have to debug the application and check where those functionalities are tringering.. there you can find a Badi and implement it.   also read in the Blueprint that may be it will mention that which version and what you are doing so your task become little easy.

    also you can have the Service and asset manangement(SAM) related informatio from there only.  i hope it will help you..

    I do not understand presentation in terms of collection and disbursement you mean from the business side of things or will i say looking at it from a business analyst perspective. I have some info if you can send an email add then i will send something which might be helpful though i am not sure, I myself i am just moving into such area as a SAP Business Analyst for Claims managment though i have an insurance background of another ERP so i might be able to help.

  • Need help in the CRM Business Package Configuration in EP

    I have uploaded CRM BP 60.2.3 on EP 6.0 WAS 6.40. I have configured and assigned the WAS System parameters and CRM System parameters. But still, when I preview an iview for ex. B2B Shop, the following portal runtime error is coming.

    Hi Siddarth,
        The BP installation was successful. I have configured and assigned the CRM System and did the user mapping too.
    I still am getting the Portal Runtime Error as below:

  • Need help on SAP SSO with SAML & SSO2

    Dear expert,
    We met an SSO issue on launchpad.
    Here is our scenario and SSO structure. We use fiori launchpad to display all SAP apps.
    1. When  an user visit launchpad URL, URL will redirect user to identity provider (IDP) for SAML authentication.
    2. Then IDP authenticate with SAML2.0 token back to gateway.
    3. Gateway accept the SAML2.0 token and issue SSO2 logon ticket.
    4. Use logon ticket to backend ABAP ERP system for transaction apps.
    5. Use logon ticket to HANA system for factsheet.
    Now the first step above is OK as SAML token can be authenticated back to gateway. But after that, the basic form authentication pop-up for user credential on both backend system and HANA, which should not. We found out that launchpad was stucked with error message "/sap/es/ina/GetServerInfo HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized" at ERP backend service "GetServerInfo". By checking the cookies, we found out that after SAML token accepted by gateway, gateway did not issue any MYSAPSSO2 ticket.
    However, when we disabled SAML and use form authentication for launchpad, SSO2 logon ticket works perfectly among GW, ERP and HANA.  So, there should be no issue configuration regarding SSO2 logon ticket in SAP GUI.
    here is the system information:
    GW: NW740 SP5
    ERP: ECC6 on NW740 SP5
    HANA: v70
    Please kindly help us out on this issue. Please ask if other information is needed. thanks.

  • Need Help in SAP Multiple  UOM

    Dear Expert ,
                     Please provide solution for this scenario .as follows
    One of my customer need dual inventory system for the same item . And the condition are below
    * Granites Manufacturing company
    * They want to maintain serial number for individual slap wise ( all the slap not equal length * Height * width )
    * Invoice  should be in CBM (Cubic Meters )  only ( 1590.34 * 10000)
         With the above condition if we maintain the inventory UOM is CBM then we can't able enter serial number. For  example ...
    Example-1
    Item - A Serial Numbered Item and UOM in CBM
    Now i am going to add Good receipt (test scenario) for Item - A ,qty  1590.34 CBM  while adding the document it will show "Cannot select serial numbers; fractional quantity exists in row 1" like this error. so we can't able to maintain serial number
    Example - 2
    the same item we are maintaining the UOM as "nos"  there is no problem with serial number . But while booking the invoice we can't able to book per CBM or SF (squre meter )  UOM it should be number only. same case we can't able to calculate the price according to the CBM .

    Let me restate what I think your question is to see if I have the right understanding.  Your customer manufactures slabs of granite and they would like to be able to identify each slab individually, and to be able to transact in terms of Cubic Meters and/or Sqare Meters and/or "NOS" (I assume that means "numbers" or "units"?). This is complicated by the fact that each slab has different dimensions.  Is that basically it?  If so it sounds like a perfect opportunity to use batch specific UOMs.  With that functionality you can set up each slab as a batch and then define batch specific UOMs for each batch to account for the different dimensions.

    We have installed SAP Biller Direct application on J2EE 620 engine integrated with SAP R/3 4.7 Enterprise (WAS 620). For user management security we will use ABAP stack.
    The link of this Biller Direct Application will be provided on company's web portal (not SAP Ent. Portal). Once user click on link , Biller Direct application will open it another browser window.User must create their own user id and password.Other information will also be asked like Last Name ,first name, etc) during user id and password creation. Basically user will create their own user master record. (just think of it as you are creating an email account in Yahoo portal connected to R/3)
    My question is :-
    1) What configuration I need to do on J2EE and R/3 side so that user record will be created in R/3 when user creates it's own ID and password?
    2)If I want to link LDAP with R/3,  how I can link the LDAP with R/3 (user mapping ) will it be automatic, once the user creates it user id in web portal? OR do i have manually synch LDAP and R/3

  • Need help in SAP XI

    Hi Guys,
    I am a new member to SAP XI and wanted to get some help in designing some application in SAP XI.
    My Scenario:
    I will get a list of IDs in file. I need to send only some of IDs to destination. I know what all IDs need to be sent. So, based on this, i have created a "FIXED VALUES" in value mapping and have assigned 'Y' to the IDs.
    SO based on that, i am maintaining a flag in destination sturcture and in BPM, if the xpath value of the flag is Y, send it to destination.
    This is perfectly working when there is only one ID. But if one account number has more than one IDs, my scenario is not working.
    So, wanted to do modifications to my XI scenario. Please suggest some options to make it work.
    I have tried following options, but i could not make it run.
    1) In Value mapping, i tried using split by value, removecontexts and explored different node functions, but could not run.
    I am not sure what i need to change in BPM to make it run.
    Please help me in this regard.

    Your scenario is Split message .. you can avoid BPM if you are in SP14 with the RB_Split functionality.
    if you running less than Sp14 try out this scenario with Multimapping and use in the BPM.

    Hello, QC as your likely aware is a Server application.  No matter where you downloaded it from, it still needs to be installed on a server quality machine.  The main executable would be labled like 'Setup.exe' but embedded in .RAR and impossible to locate without extraction. Similar for .exe's contained in .ZIP archives. Hence all files are required.
