NEED HELP -- make fatal mistake
Hey, I did something really really really stupid yesterday ... I renamed /usr/lib /usr/lib.old and now hardly any commands work at all. I get errors in the form: <command>: Cannot find /usr/lib/ld.so.1 How do i fix this? I know WHY i get the error, but I don't know how to fix it... What I've tried is this ... First I startup the machine and boot into single mode, then do LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib.old; export LD_LIBRARY_PATH ... but that doesn't work :( What else could I do?

How about renaming dir back to /usr/lib ? Most of the programs would look for default path of /usr/lib and LD_LIBRARY_PATH wont help and you will continue to receive unexpected error messages.

There's no guarantee of always yearly updates for any Apple products. But, like iPhone, you can look at the average no. of days between past product updates:
MacBook Pro average = 267 days
iMac average = 273 days
iPhone average = 298 days -

Hello, I need help with my macbook pro.
It looks like I cannot install anything anymore. Everytime I try to install a new software, I simply get stuck during the installation type process. I put in my password, it does accept it, but it does not go any further.
I tried to reset the password, put no password, repair the permissions, the disk but nothing will do. I nearly got stuck with the log in screen but finally succeeded in disabling it.
So I thought I might try to create a new account but I cannot click the lock to make changes. It simply refuses to react.
I am now thinking about using the migration assistant to save all my settings, data and so fourth, but again I get stuck when I have to type in my password. It accepts it but nothing happens...
I guess it has something to do with the authorization process, but can't find anything on the internet about it... Can you help me out?
I am running Lion 10.7.3.

First, backup your system. Next, reboot your system, press/hold the COMMAND-R keys to boot into the Recovery HD. Select 'Reinstall Mac OS X'. If you purchased Lion as an upgrade to Snow Leopard, the reinstall process will install Lion 10.7.3. If your system came preinstalled with Lion, you might still get Lion 10.7.2. Both installs are a total install of the OS. None of your apps or data will be impacted. Just the OS. -
Need help on Inspire t 6200 and PCIE XFI titanium Fatality pro series

I need help on this.
I have PCIE X-FI Titanium Fatality Pro Series. and I just bought 5. Speakers Inspire t 6200.
However, I have some problems.
1. In Mass Effect or Other game Or dvd I cant make the center work. It means you can hear the music and background sound clearly but no Voice at all that ussualy come from center channel.
2I Tested over audio controler from the disk. When I put 5. speaker configuration, the sound is coming from center and left channel for left channel and same thing for the other side. However, When the test is trying to test the center and rear speake, the sound are muffled.
3. Is X FI only for Headset only or you can use Pc Speaker ? And how to configuration for Inspire t6200 with my sound card.
I am using Windows xp sp 3
4g Ram

So I don't sync my iPad very often. My dad and I share a computer. And I decided to do it the other day. I am pretty sure I did it all correctly selecting music that I wanted not deleting playlists but it seems to be that they are gone. And music I didn't want has appeared. And now I don't have an option (with this new iOS 6.1.2) to make new playlists or edit music I don't want out.
I know I need help figuring those two things out 1 how to make a play list. There isn't a "add" button anymore in that screen I have a "you have no playlist"with a button underneath that says "go to iTunes Store" why I would need the store for that, I do not know.
Then in the songs, artists, albums sections where you used to be able to hit "edit" button to delete the music you have that you don't want. I don't seem to be able to do anything at all to get rid of the random music I have.
I need help. I know my iPad fairly well but I am not super savvy with it either.Is there a "New" button at the top right of the Playlists section of Music?
There is no Edit button to delete music, swipe sideways on the song to reveal the delete button. Tap and hold on the artwork in Artists and albums to reveal the (X) button to delete. Or connect the iPad back up to iTunes on the computer and check your sync settings for music to ensure you are syncing the right content. -
My iPhone 4S won't turn on it's been off for two days now. I tried charging it but it makes a noise every 8 seconds,holding the buttons down and also plugging it to a computer. I need help on what to do or if anybody can tell me what's wrong with my phone

Hi I just got a new MacBook Pro I need help transferring Bootcamp (Windows XP) from my old Macbook Pro to my new Macbook Pro Mac OS X 10.7.4 2.6 Ghz Intel Core 17. How do I make bootable clone of Bootcamp?
you can't just move XP even if you took the hard drive and have Windows boot and function.
Apparently there are Windows tools to sanitize the OS and strip all the motherboard drivers and services.
Time to get a supported OS. Don't want to pay, then use 8 for the time until it goes on sale.
There are no drivers for even Vista on 2011 and later Macs. -
Ihave by mistake deleated my program creative cloud the consequence is that have no more creative cloud in my Computer . HOW CAN I RELOAD creative cloud.
The best would be if Adobe would send me a mail to click and install it again, but I can't contact any Body. I need help.

All of my apps on my new ipad2 are not working. I had this iPad about 4 months and nothing bad has happened before this. I need help on how to make my apps stop crashing. Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.
