Need help related to Graphs/Charts in Labview
Hi,
I need some info related to Graphs/Charts in Labview.
Where I am facing problem is:
User has to select from a ring control , type of graph/chart he wants i.e.,XY Graph,Waveform Graph,Waveform Chart...
Based on his selection I need to create that particular graph dynamically at run-time and plot the data.
Please suggest how I can do this....

HI Harika,
There is property to hide the pages but you dont need that, you just need to display one page a time.
Just right click on tab control and in shortcut ment disable Visible Item >Tabs, this will hide the Page selection. If you want you can make the color of tab as transperent (It looks like you are not using any tab control)
Go to the terminal on the tab control, you can write the tab page number you want to display.

I created a Crystal Report (CR) based off an existing Trend Analysis report. I have created a VB6 application that calls the .RPT file I created for the report in CR. The VB6 app sets the report recordset via code that corresponds to the .TTX file, and the parameters . The report contains a Line graph that plots five pieces of data. The report & graph work good. The Problem: CR determines the color of each line on the graph. However, I need to set the color for each line to correspond to the colors used on our existing reports. The users are accustom to a certain color representing a certain set of data on the existing reports. I have tried everything I can think of and from all documentation I can find, and nothing changes the line colors. I have tried all of the following:
1.) From the Chart Expert, Option tab, I click the Format button next to Color and setup conditional color settings per each piece of data. However, when I run the report these conditional color settings are not reflected on the CR graph. I am using formula fields (based off database fields in the recordset) to produce the report. However, I only see the database fields to use in the conditional color formatting screen and not the formula fields. I thought this would possibly be the cause why the colors wonu2019t change on the CR, but I canu2019t find a way to make the formula fields show up in the list.
2.)Also, I tried right clicking the individual lines of the graph and change the selected item color, but this didnu2019t change the color either. I do this in Design mode and Preview mode and neither one changes the color of the lines on the graph.
3.)I have also looked into the CR object model to see if I can change the line colors of the graph via code and it doesn't look like I am given this flexibility.
Do you know what I am doing wrong here? I just want to be able to set the color of each line on the CR graph to the color I want instead of using the default colors. Are there some Hot Fixes that I need to apply to my copy of CR?

I got the problem fixed w/ the line graph not making the data lines the same color on the report as on the frmPlot graph. Compare the two screen shots below. The problem was as follows: When I created the graph (in the Chart Expert) the field u201CReadingDateu201D was not one of the Report Fields, and all the other fields were Report Fields (Reading, LowAlarm, UpperAlarm, LowerLimit, & UpperLimit). See the 3rd screen shot below. ReadingDate does show up as a Report Field now but it wasnu2019t at first. Originally, this field was only available in the Chart Expert as a recordset field. When I changed this field to be a Report Field, the graph then allowed me to change the data series line colors. This was not obvious at all. From the beginning when I setup the graph and passed in the recordset from VB it graphed all of the data series fine. The colors that the Chart Expert chose for each line just didnu2019t match what was on the frmPlot graph. Anyway, it is working now. I can at least say I learned (somethingu2019s to-do and somethingu2019s not to-do) a good bit about Crystal Reports in the process.

Need Help related to Power Spectrum of two signal

I have two signals of different frequencies but i want to take the FFT power spectrum of both signals at same graph . So for that case i take the FFT power spectrum of both signal indivisualy and after this build the array. so i got the one graph and all the components in same graph. Now
The problem is that in that graph i want to extract the magnitudes at each frequency, but when i extract the information from final graph it will be the " 1D array of Cluster of 3 Elements" so its information is saprate for these two signal. but i want to tale the magnitude at each frequency , how can i got this sir . Please Help me
AgniveshSir it works thanks but there is one new problem is that wahen i am going to extract the magnitude for every frequency it is also works, but my question is that if my frequency is in floating point then how can i extract magnitude for that frequency. i mean i extracted the magnitude for every frequency component starting from 0 to 1...2..3...4.............so on (Frequency ) but if my frwquency id 2.3Hz so how can i do this.i am sending you my VI also

Heey everyone, i have a small problem:
I want to create 1 XY-graph which has several Y-axis (max 8), and they all have the same X-axis. The thing i tried is in the appendix of this post.
I think I have to bundle each y-axis with the x-axis but i`m not sure about that.

Need help related to EBS access..

We have installed EBS R12.1.1(11g Db).We have completed some of the setups and now have to provide access to the end users for UAT(User Acceptance Testing).But, the problem is we have around 40 users who will be accessing the EBS at any givent point of time, and out of 40 users, aroung 25 users will be accesing EBS through VPN, as our client has offices spread out in diffrent parts of the city and country.Our client Facility wants to know what is the optimal bandwidth they should go in for, so that access through VPN does not become too slow for the end users.Is there any benchmark/statistical document which I can forward to my clients so that they can get a fair idea about the optimal bandwidth??

After reading up on Charts, Make sure that your table has a Header Row for column titles and no Header Column.
With your density figures in Column A and your Specific Heat figures in Column B, trim off any excess rows and columns from your table. Then Select the table and insert a Scatter Chart.

Need help to draw a graph from the output I get with my program please

I please need help with this program, I need to display the amount of money over the years (which the user has to enter via the textfields supplied)
on a graph, I'm not sure what to do further with my program, but I have created a test with a System.out.println() method just to see if I get the correct output and it looks fine.
My question is, how do I get the input that was entered by the user (the initial deposit amount as well as the number of years) and using these to draw up the graph? (I used a button for the user to click after he/she has entered both the deposit and year values to draw the graph but I don't know how to get this to work?)
Please help me.

The above is also good.Sorry but you need to look a bit more closely at URLs that you cite. What the OP wants is a chart (as in X against Y) not a graph (as in links and nodes) . 'jgraph' deals with links and nodes.
The best free charting library that I know of is JFreeChart from www.jfree.org. -

I need to make a graph, then run a breadth-first traversal on it. Do I simply make an undirected graph first, then implement the traversal?
