Need help returning processor task list.
I'm new to KEXT/Kernel programming and Xcode, so I'm sure these are fairly beginner questions, but I'm having some trouble. I'm trying to return a list of processor tasks, so I can test different things such as process id's, file descriptors, etc.
I'm not sure what functions would be useful for me. Is there some way that I would be able to return a list of all running processor tasks and/or their information? Would someone be able to point me in the right direction?
Yeah, usually it helps me out quite a bit, but I've been googling for over a week, and I get a whole lot of nothing. Everything that I've actually been able to find uses outdated headers and functions that don't exist anymore. Maybe my google skills just aren't very good for this area, since I *am* new to this after all...
I figured it would be much more time-efficient to just ask the dev community. Any insight would be appreciated.

In plus i have four parameters with searchlight options, the problem is when i select "Finance" from DEPT2 and in the next selection level i'm seeing all the departments "Accounting,Asset Management and Bridge Dsgn Insp Hyd" insted of just "Accounting". What i want is if i select a department in DEPT2, in the next drop down list(DEPT3) i want to see only the departement corresponding to the one i selected in dept2. Please need help.

First of all you need to be using Discoverer 10g or 11g Plus not 9.0.4. Assuming you have the right version you need to present the parameters in the correct order. You can change the order on the parameters screen by selecting Tools | Parameters from the toolbar. You then use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to place them in the right order so that DEPT1 is offered first, followed by DEPT2, then DEPT3 and then DEPT4.
Next, you need to check the radion button on the bottom of the right-hand side that allows linking of parameters then you make DEPT2 dependent upon DEPT1, with DEPT3 dependent upon DEPT2 and so on.
While this works without hierarchies it works best when you have a hierarchy in place and even better when there is a composite index on the 4 items.

I have problem when searching for general task list via classification (in service order, extras>task list selection>direct entry). When I doubleclick a task list, group counter is not copied back in first selection screen; only group has copied. How can I solve this problem?

Need help returning correct name from a code created movie clip
Hello. I am an AS3 n00b with hopefuly a simple question I am designing a simple game in flash. This code creates an array of movie clips and asigns a picture to each one. It is a map screen. What I need is when I click on one of the created movie clips, I need it to return either the index of the clip in the array or the name of the clip. Basicaly anything I can use to tell them apart in the code. Here is the code:

Now all this works fine, it creates the map and assigns the correct picture and places them in the correct X,Y position and it is the correct grid of 27x27 squares. The problem is with the name, when I click on the movie clip, it returns "Instance2" or "Instance5" or whatever. It starts with 2 and then increases each number by 3 for each clip, so the first one is 2, then 5 then 8 and so on. This is no good. I need it to return the name that I assigned it
. If I put the code in trace(MapSquare[1]) it will return the name "MapSquare1" so I know the name was assigned, but it isnt returning.

I know I dont really need the name, I just need the index number of the array, but I cant figure out how to get the index name without specificaly coding for it. That is why in the listener event I use event.target.name because I dont know what movie clip is being clicked until it has been clicked on. Basically when a movie clip is clicked it needs to return which index of the array was clicked.
I could do it this way:

The code that each movie clip executes is the same, eventualy that index will be passed into a database and the data at that primary key will be retrieved and returned to the program. So I just need to know, when one of those buttons is clicked, which one was clicked and what is its index in the array.
I am a VB programer and in VB this is very easy, the control array automatically sends its own index into the function when one of the buttons is clicked. It seems simple enough, I just dont know how to do it in action script.

Need help returning (not printing) avg GPA from array??

Need help choosing processor and display for X240 please
I'm about to purchase an X240 today or tomorrow and, after doing multiple forum searches and reading a 67-page X240 thread elsewhere, I would really appreciate some help choosing a processor and a display. If it makes a difference, I've decided on:
*Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
*8GB of RAM
*256GB SSD
I intend to use the laptop for viewing/editing Word documents and Powerpoint presentations, streaming movies, and streaming recorded lectures. I'm not sure what lecture viewer/player my school uses yet, but I do know that it has options to play the lectures at accelerated speeds (1.5x, 2x, etc.) and that I will definitely need to use this feature. I'm not computer literate enough to discern whether the processor type has any effect on this. I will use an external drive if I need to download and save any lectures. I also plan to do some infrequent and basic photo editing with Windows Photo Gallery and MS Paint. I'm willing to pay extra for a smoother/faster experience, but I don't want to go with the i7 processor if it's overkill for my purposes or if there are other significant trade-offs besides price.
As for display, I'm torn between the regular HD (1366x768) IPS Non-touch, regular HD IPS Touch, and FHD IPS Touch. Re: HD vs FHD, I've been using a 1280x800 13.3" non-IPS display for the last 6 or 7 years, and I'm pretty happy with it except for the limited viewing angles. Wouldn't regular HD on a 12.5" screen be a step up in resolution? A lot of the reviews of the regular HD on the X240 express disappointment with the "low" resolution, but I don't know if it's really that bad, or if people just have much higher expectations/standards than I do. I'm leaning towards regular HD because my glasses are so strong that increasing the sharpness of what I see also has the side effect of making things appear smaller (minimization error), so I'd probably have to mess with text/DPI scaling if I went with FHD, which isn't a perfect solution from what I've read. I'd only consider getting a touch version if I need FHD (since it doesn't come in non-touch), or if it somehow makes the HD display sharper or more vibrant--I have no intention of actually using touch features.
Apologies for the length, and thanks in advance for any advice! :-)Actually I have been doing further research and I personally would either go with the 2.6GHz NON RETINA MBP or cough up the cash and go all out on a 2.6GHz RETINA MBP and upgrade the RAM to 16GB and upgrade to 768GB Flash storage, I am a student as well so will get a discount which will help.
My fears are that if I get the Retina model I will not be able to upgrade it even further, I want to keep the computer for at least a good 5 years, during those 5 to 8 years will the current upgrades be enough to keep up with the top games and programs etc? Also I have read that repairing the Retina display model is very diffcult and it can malfunction commonly, so I am guessing I should get apple care on top of it just to be sure with this particular model?
I am assuming that they they will bring out the new models out next year and all the chinks and bugs of the current Retina model will be fixed so to speak, of which I have read there is a few... Would it be worth buying the NON RETINA MBP and then selling and upgrading to an improved RETINA MBP model next year?
Finally if i back up my files on a hardrive would I have to use the USP SUPER DRIVE to install files onto the RETINA MBP or can i directly do this without the USP SUPERDRIVE?

Need Help: Workflow Decision Task not visible in NWBC for customer Task

I am new to NWBC configuration , need ur expert knowledge for the below issue. I have checked the treat . Approve/Reject button for SRM Approval for RFx response ,but not able to get the exact steps for the configurations in NWBC.
Requirement.
We are working on SLM/SRM module, where we have requirement to create a custom workflow with custom Task for which we have executed below actions.
Created the Custom Workflow.
Created the custom Task with custom ZCLASS and ZEVET.
Created Event linkages in SWE2.
After doing this we are getting the workitem in the NWBC, currently we don’t have the Portal system in place, so we are using the NWBC for all our testing.
What is the issue?
When we select the workitem in the NWBC (UML) inbox , the Decision Task ie “Approve” or “Reject” button are not visible , where as for SAP standard Task buttons are visible.
What help we need?
When we cross check the SCN/IBM portal, found that we need to do the XML file configurations. Can you any one kindly let us know the steps we need to follow to achieve our functionality.

ChannaYou need to share the details of what Inbox you are using, configuration steps depend on it. If you aren't using portal, you aren't using UWL and there is no UML inbox. You need to get your facts straight. Most likely you are using the Business Workflow Inbox (SWF_WORKPLACE) or the Lean Inbox (IBO_WDA_INBOX). Both are based on Web Dynpro ABAP and POWL but the configuration is different. Regardless, you posted this in the wrong space. Correct space is either SAP NetWeaver Business Client or Web Dynpro ABAP.

Need help displaying images with List component for Flash CS4 (ActionScript 3.0)

I am an inexperienced user of Flash CS4 Pro (v10.0.2). I am attempting to use the List component with ActionScript 3.0 to make a different image display when a user clicks each item in a list.
I did find a tutorial that showed me how to make different text display using a dynamic text box and the following ActionScript:

However, as I mentioned to start, what I really want to do is make images display instead of text. Can anyone provide me the steps to do this?

CindyHi...thanks for responding! I was planning on using images from the Library, but if there is a better way to do it, I'm open. So far, I just have text in the data property. This is part of my problem. I don't know what I need to put in the data value for an image to display. Do I just put the image file name and Flash will know to pull it from the Library? Do I need to place the images on the stage on different frames? I apologize for the "stupid user" questions, but as you can tell, I'm a newbie.

I need help with drop down lists
I have a form that does not have lots of space and I want to use drop down lists to fill in specific information that describes site conditions. The problem I have is that the drop down list is only set up for a single line and that is not enough space for what I want in the drop down list. In other words, I have items that are several sentences. I have seen some descriptions of creating a drop down list that then fills in a text box that has multiple lines. Unfortunately, that is not an ideal solution for me. I just want the drop down list to select a single phrase. Here is an example of what I want to be able to select in the drop down.
The water heater spilled flue gases in excess of 5 minutes under worst case conditions. The combusiton testing was completed with in 30 days of the invoice submittal.
The form does not allow me to create a field that goes all the way across the page so it needs to look something like this:

I have three items that are very similar in length and text for each drop down. There are 9 drop downs right now. I am using the drop downs to fill in a form that is used by several people and I want to keep things as simple as possible. Associated with the drop down already is a check box. When the check box is checked, it fills in a text box with a score (1 point, 5 points, etc). That score then tallys for a total with all the other scores in another text box. Using a drop box to fill in a text box is just getting to busy and than I have to distinguish each drop down item so it is clear which text you are selecting. -
I'm working on a custom Discrete Job Picklist and am trying to return the locator with the least amount of the item that is required to pick. This is working fine except when the minimum is not distinct.
Here's the bit of code that I'm working with:

This returns the mins but give me duplicates when the mins are the same. I'd like to return only 1 min locator per item. I've tried using a select distinct, but this does not work.
Ideally, I'd like to use the min(locator_id) to determine which locator to use should the min(total_qoh) be non-distinct.
I've tried using:

I think this may have something to do with not allowing an order by in a subquery for 8.1.6.1 but am not positive. It seems that I either get an invalid column name or missing right parenthesis when using order by in the subquery.

Need Help to create access-list based on traffic logs
Hello,
We didn't have any Firewall in our network, we recently implemented Cisco ASA (Context) firewall in our network with any any permit rule .
Our intension is to collect the source, destination, protocol & ports based on the traffic logs and then implement the access-lists , once we confirmed all the rule will added to the firewall we want remove any any permit rule .
I need some suggestion regarding this how we can proceed on this plan, any suggestions appreciated

That is not the ideal way of doing... this will lead to a provisioning an unauthorized person to access for something he is not authorized to.
How many users do you have in your network? Try to categorize users based on their present authorization level of access.... say Team A users need to access everything... then you need to group them and provide full access..... Team B users need to be provided with only restricted access.... then group them and provide restricted access....
If your case is something like this.... all users need unrestricted intranet access and certain users alone requires internet acceess... then you can define rules accordingly....

NEED HELP! Processor Question!
Hey there! I just recently bought a mac pro and it comes with 2 dual-core xeon processors(still being shipped). I was wondering if I could upgrade to a quad-core i5. Some people say that I cannot. I need advice.
It sounds like you have a 2006 Mac Pro 1,1. You can upgrade it to dual quad cores with any of the following Intel CPU's: E5345 (2.0 GHz), X5355 (2.66 GHz) or X5365 (3.0 GHz). Forget about the i5 - it won't even fit the socket. I did the upgrade from the dual core Xeon 5150 (2.66 GHz) to the quad core X5355. The actual time required to switch the cpu's is about an hour to an hour and a half. But before I started I spent about a month reading and rereading other people's postings about their experiences doing the upgrade. I'm retired and in my 70's so I have lots of time. A major complication that a number of people reported was that they were not able to remove two of the four screws holding the memory cage in place. These are the two screws at the front of the memory cage and are pointed down. So before I ordered my cpu's I made sure that I could remove these two screws. I would advise you to do the same. Remove the side panel and pull out both memory trays. Then see if you can remove the two screws at the front edge of the memory cage. If you can't you may want to quit. It is still possible to make the cpu switch with those screws in place but it is harder and it increases the chance of your breaking the catches on the heat sink cover. You'll need a Eklind 3 mm wrench (Amazon.com) and a small tube of Arctic Silver 5 (Amazon.com). These were about $6 each. I bought a pair of used X5355's on e-bay for $278 each. My Geekbench score went from 5200 to 9200. Handbrake times were decreased by a factor of 0.56.
