Need help with my scanner and that stuff

Question

i am having a problem with my last method please help....this will not no compile at the moment..
the error message is incompatible types - found java.lang.String but expected int
my code

private Scanner reader;

WHAT IF I DO THISThat would not solve your purpose
public int AmountToWithdraw() throws NumberFormatException {
    System.out.println("> How much would you like to withdraw? ");
    int inputLine = reader.nextLine();
    return Integer.parseInt(inputline);
}
