Need Help with timing using multiple clips

I am in need of some help. I am trying to have a total of 16 video clips appear to slide across the screen from the right to the left, all while being equally spaced apart, going the same speed without them crossing over one another. I am using the center and anchor point in the motion tab, but once i get the the third clip i just cant seem to get the time right. I basically want them to come into the screen from the left and out of the screen from the right, all while scrolling acrossed. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
I even trued manipulating idvd and imovie themes in Quartz Composer, ended up starting fresh and new, and then again got into the mess with timing. Please help!!!!

Try this:
Copy one clip that works OK and use Paste Attributes on the shonky one.

Hi Yomi,
The way the code is currently set up, DAQ Assistant 4 will run right after the Boolean array is written using the output DAQ Assistant. Does the relay not stay open? If you need actual simultaneous input and output, that will be dependent on the DAQ card you're using. You might look into using actual DAQmx commands rather than using DAQ Assistants, since you'll be able to create multiple tasks to handle the input and output. You might find this link helpful.

Need help with session using dreamweaver

have created a login page (php/mysql) with username and
password boxes. when the form is submitted the mainpage loads up.
i want the main page to be specific to that user, so i want
their name to appear in the first line. eg.. Welcome back 'David'
I read a tutorial in the past that tought me to send the
users id in the URL and then create a record set on the mainpage
that was filtered by the URL parameter.
I have forgotten how to do this and the tutorial is no longer
available on Adobe's site.
I tried that with
$_SESSION['MM_Username'] = $loginUsername; \\ in first page
then
echo $_SESSION["MM_username"]; \\in second page, but the
problem is that is not showing user name.
i need help with that please!

IN the second page, you have to make sure that the session
has been started.
Put this at the very top of the page -

Need Help with Formula using SQL maybe

I need help! I work with Crystal reports XI and usually manage just fine with the Formula editor but his one I think will require some SQL and I am not good at that.
We are running SQL 2000 I think (Enterprise Manager 8.0) Our sales people schedule activities and enter notes for customer accounts. Each is stored in a separate table. I need to find activities that are scheduled 240 days into the future and show the most recent note that goes with the account for which that activity is scheduled.
The two tables, Activities and History, share the an accountID field in common that links them to the correct customer account.   I want to look at dates in the Startdate.Activities field more than 240 days in the future and show the most recent note from the History table where the accountid's match. I figure my query will contain a join on AccountID.Activities and AccountID.History used with Max(completedate.History) but I do not understand how to word it.
I would like to perform all this in crystal if possible. I humbly request your help.

You SQL would look something like this...

This method assumes that the History table has a HistoryID that increments up automatically each time a new comment is added... So a comment made today would always have a higher HistoryID that one made yesterday.
If I'm wrong and there is no HistoryID or the HistoryID doesn't increment in a chronological fashion, it can still be done but the code is a bit more complex.

Need help with IQ02 - using a FM do update a value in this transaction

I am trying to change the Aquisition value (as in transaction IQ02) using either of following FM:
ITOB_SERIALNO_MODIFY_SINGLE
SERIALNUMBER_LIST_UPDATE
However the changed value of field (ANSWT) is not getting reflected in database.
I tried ABAP4_COMMIT_WORK, but it didnt work.
I also tried, BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT but getting a express document message 'Update was terminated.'
Kindly help me with this. The only thing I need to do is to change the ANSWT (Aquisition value) field.

It's a bit dangerous to use SAP function modules that are not released to the user to update SAP data because they may not be a complete LUW. IE you may have to run other FMS either before or after. Try to find a BAPI. Maybe BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT is what you need.

Need Help With Query Using Aggregation

If I have a table, defined like this:

And I wanted to query the table to find the range associated with the last inserted row for each 'grade' (e.g. 'A', 'B', 'C', etc), how would I go about that?
I want something like the following, but I know that this won't work right:

We thought about this, but we want one central website for all the end-users to go to. Is there any way to then (depending on what location the user sets on their ticket) to send to one of these Spiceworks sub-sites?
I was thinking about make a rule to CC# the distribution list of that IT department so they are notified that there is a new unassigned ticket. For example end user selects Florida location for their ticket on our portal, then the Florida IT distribution list is CC'd to notify them.
Or am I thinking wrongly here.

Getting ready to move our helpdesk into primetime. We have a central server where all of our admins from around the world will be working on our tickets and we have a public facing (remote site) helpdesk where all end-users will be submitting their tickets to.
Since we have multiple locations each with their own IT staff, I would like to have end-user select their site (I already created a custom ticket attribute list for this that shows up on our public portal). Once this is done, somehow alert that IT staff that their is a ticket (maybe by sending an email to that IT's distribution list) and organize the tickets on the central helpdesk server by site.
Any help in this would benefit our company utilizing our Spiceworks helpdesk.

Need Help with Tutorial! Hachures/Clipping Mask?

Hi All, I am really struggling with this step of this awesome tutorial. I am not quite understanding how the end result of the below steps is achieved. Here are the instructions for each step (paraphrased):
1) Create a triangle, make it slim, duplicate it many times and group it.
2) Shows end result of step 1
3) Place the object over the area that you want hachures. Make a trace on the area you want to be filled using the pen tool.
4) Make a clipping mask on it
5) (end result) Repeat the same procedure.
I have no problem making the triangles, but I got stuck after that step. I made a trace over the area, but I get stuck after making a clipping mask.

Mylenium, after reading your post I went back, you were right (duh) my clipping mask wasn't closed and I did not have it as the top most layer.
Monika Gause, I will try and be a bit more clear with my questions in the future. I am sure it is pretty obvious, but I am a noob in a lot of ways!

Need help with problem using sound and vibration examples. question repost

I am generating a wav file using the sound and vibration example vi "SVXMPL_Wav Recorder(DAQmx)" using a ni 7422 board. Then, using the example vi SVXMPL_Getting started with SVT(Simulated)" attempting to play back that file. the wav file will load and play back on the graphs fine but when I click the "Play Wav File" which sends the audio to the computers speaker, I get the error "Cannot recognise sound Format". It plays the shipped example files fine. I can also play the wav files I generate on a Windows audio player. Don't know a lot about the sound and vibration toolkit or wav file formats but need to get these two to work together. Using LV 8.5 and sound and vibration toolkit 4.0. This is a bit of a repost of the same question ask last week but not answered. Thanks

Need help with buttons and fading clips

howdy,
I have 3 buttons on a stage that play 3 different movies.
While no button is pressed, there is a looping video on the stage
playing. When a button is pressed, that looping movie needs to fade
out and fade in the movie that button calls for. I have attached
script but it isn't working at all. Not sure where to go from here.

Need helping with Timing

If you have intensive calculation inbetween the start() and the stop() then the timer thread and the event dispatch thread will find it hard to get their slice of the CPU. Timers are not very precise to start with, and here you are introducing unfriendly scheduling conditions and accumulating error too.

Need help with persistance using an array of values

I have an array of values, say:
String[] fruit = {apples, oranges, pears}
And I want to know how to send this into a database table that is separate from the rest of the class. for example, the fruit array is part of a class Food. Food has the following fields:
@Column(Name= food_type)
private String foodType;
String[] fruit
Say that the Food class places the foodType variable in the Food table, but I want to place each item of the fruit array into a separate table that has the fruit type, and Food_id that links it back to the food table.
What is the correct code for this?

i recommend you start with JDBC
