Need JSP with CMR EJB Help

regarding my question
i am not clear how to use two bean one has foreign key and another has primary key in the client side
for that i make two beans and make cmr relationship between them fine
but when i call another bean in the client side i have to use findByPrimaryKey method to map the beans
fine
Cnmas cnn = cnhome.findByPrimaryKey(dpwb_no);
now my problem is i have multiple records corresponding to the dpwb_no which is my primary key
so for that should i use the iterator method
and if i will not use then i am using local as well as remote home interfaces so in that case my code will be:-
in the local interface:-
public DodAuthorisationLocal findByPrimaryKey(String authorisationNo) throws FinderException;
in the remote interface:-
public DodAuthorisation findByPrimaryKey(String authorisationNo) throws RemoteException, FinderException;
now my problem is that client will interact with local interface and we are makeing remote's home interface.
because i have to use that values in the create method as parameter
the create method has local interface's value as parameter and we are calling remote interface so tell me how to solve it
CnmasHome cnhome = (CnmasHome)PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ctx.lookup("Cnmas"), CnmasHome.class);
Cnmas cnn = cnhome.findByPrimaryKey(dpwb_no);
in this code we use the remote interface
this is my create method which i try to call
public DodAuthorisation create(CnmasLocal cnn ) with more parameter
so how to interact the local interface in the create method with the remotehome refrence with the findByPrimaryKey method.

The <jsp:usebean> is used for only javabeans not EJB (Enterprise javabean). You said that you have deployed SpellCheck.jar to the JRun server. So that must be an EJB. Where are you accessing this EJB from in your JSP? ARe you doing it inside the projsp.SpellCheck javabean? If yes, can you post some code from the javabean.

Hi All,
We are into a project in Oracle Portal Server where in we want to embed a result of a standalone application in Portal page.
We can do that once we can embed the result of the standalone application which generates applet based on the input it gets from the current application's database.
If it was static we could have used jsp:plugin but, it fails in our case!
We are clueless as to how to embed an applet which will pick up the data dynamically.
Can anyone of you help me in this regard?

The plugin example illustrates a <html> uniform way of embedding applets in a web page. Before the advent of the <OBJECT> tag, there was no common way of embedding applets. This tag is poorly designed and hopefully future specs will allow for dynamic attributes (height="${param.height}", code="${chart}", etc) and dynamic parameters. Currently, the jsp:plugin tag does not allow for dynamically called applets. For example, if you have a charting applet that requires the data points to be passed in as parameters, you can't use jsp:params unless the number of data points are constant. You can't, for example, loop through a ResultSet to create the jsp:param tags. You have to hand code each jsp:param tag. Each of those jsp:param tags however can have a dynamic name and a dynamic value.

Cant connect jsp with mysqlserver..help needed from person in jsp on linux

hii,
I have installed mysql on linux 7.x.This was installed during installation of linux.From the shell prompt i can go inside mysql and can successfully execute all query statements.
Now have downloaded mm.mysqljdbc driver(i.2c) and installed it,set the classpath in .bash_profile,sh file
Everything ,including Tomcat Apache server is running fine
But i am unable to connect a jsp page to mysql database.
A error message "server configuration denies access to datasource " is coming .
My code is like this

Here i would like to mention that username and password is the username and password of the root user in LInux.
Now i mm confused what username and password will have to be used in JSP.Because i did nt have to specify any username or password while entering mysql.
If my problem is clear,somebody please help...all jobs stuck.

Try doing it without the username and password, otherwise create a new user in MySQL.

So the 7 month old 'pup' grabbed the phone off the desk and bit the screen so it now displays a black splotch only. Phone works fine otherwise, and I bought a new 2220.
BUT, my contacts were not saved to the sim.
I have OVI running and trying to connect bluetooth to get my contacts back, but I have to set the 2680s to have bluetooth on.
Is anyone willing to talk to me on Skype and talk me through the keystrokes to turn on bluetooth and transfer contacts??

I have a very similar network set as you describe.
N devices go to 5 GHZ N router a TC connected by ethernet and N+B/G devices go to the secondary "bridged" router an Extreme connected by ethernet. I also have one more Extreme set also in bridge mode and connected by ethernet. the first two routers are also set to create their own wireless network. You set all this configuration using Airport Utility. I have a HP usb Bonjour shared laserjet connected to the first Extreme. ATV by ethernet to the TC. Xbox360 connected to the first Extreme wirelessly. I've since departed both my Express routers, did not need anymore but I used to have them set in bridge mode and create their own wireless network. Just point each computer device depending upon their speed of wireless card to which ever network you created, keeping the N separate from the B/G.

Is it possible to use JSP with EJB

A pretty dumb question.
JSP + Servlet + DB can be used together to write a j2EE application, such as some shopping system.
But what's the usage for EJB? Does it still need JSP to do the output to client?

To use a JSP with an EJB:
Create a taglib for the EJB and access the EJB in the JSP with the taglib.
WebLogic provides the EJB to JSP integration tool.

u haven't defined the PK entry in the Establishment EJB Bean in DDYes look in the standard DD.
What's more I need both DD as I would with most ejb containers.
The field DB_ESTABLISHMENT_ID is required and I cannot set it to NULL.

Also note that Infra. and Mid-tier installs should be backed up sync'd (both at same time). There is a paper on OTN about this.

Starting out with ejb help

i'm starting out with ejb, know java and jsp servlets, and seem to be having trouble getting the first example running, i'm using Jboss_3.2.1.
1. Where is the javax.ejb package? i have sdk 1.4.1, but don't see the package in there.
2. Using JBoss where do i put the source and complied files? the book just shows the structure as:
-classes
-com
-brainysoftware
-ejb
-meta-inf
but where do i put this, there is no instructions as to where the classes and meta-inf go? i understand that the .jar goes in the deploy directory but what if i want to store the source and complied in jboss also?
3. when running a servlet, client, from tomcat do i have to run both tomcat and jboss together? The book just mentioned that i needed to copy the ebj.jar, jboss-client.jar, jnp-client.jar and the Adder.jar (example build) into my lib for tomcat, but why do i need the Adder.jar (the example built), isn't that suppose to run from jboss not from tomcat?

1.) You find the package javax.ejb in the following file: $JBOSS_HOME/client/jboss-j2ee.jar
2.) JBoss doesn't need your source-files. To install your EJBs you must copy a Enterprise Archive (*.ear), which including the jar-file with your EJB, in the directory $JBOSS_HOME/server/default/deploy. This is the directory for hot-deployment of the default-configuration. You could also copy the jar-file with your EJBs into this directory.
3.) JBoss has always a web-server, either tomcat or jetty. Both are servlet-engines. You doesn't need another tomcat instance. In your web-application you need all classes of a EJB, that you call, for example the remote-home- and the remote-interface of a session bean and the classes of value-objects. This is the reason, because you need the adder.jar. The better way is, you include all necessary files in your war-file.

iPhoto is not a Photo Viewer. It's a Photo Manager and designed for looking after the files while you organise the Photos. It really works much better if you let it manage those files. If you use iPhoto you never go near those files because iPhoto is your start point for anything you want to do with your Photos - the point of the pplication.
You can run iPhoto in Referenced mode, where it does not copy the files to the Library, but I caution you that you are making life a lot more difficult for yourself by doing that.

Because you can only synce with one iTunes library and you are switching libries by using the new computer. To nake this yyour syncing computer:
- Move all the media(apps, music, synced video and photos etc) to the new computer.
- Connect the iPofd yo the computer and bake a backup fo the iPod by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the backup that iTunes makes doe not include media.

So just to be clear, when you say "just bought" how long ago was that? Is it on this new iPhone that you had pictures, texts, etc that you want? Were you backing up to iCloud or onto iTunes?
This may not help for everything but if you go to iCloud.com and log in, are you able to find your pictures there?

Some basic printer troubleshooting steps before worrying about a printer driver:
1. Have you tried turning the printer off and back on?
2A. Is the printer attached with a cable?
     If yes, have you tried unplugging and re-plugging both ends of the printer cable?
     If that does not help, can you test the printer with another cable?
2B. If your printer is not connected to the computer with a cable, have you tried restarting your printer (assuming wireless connection)?
     Have you tried restarting your wireless router?

Have you run Software Update. You have Java already installed, but it needs to be updated.
