Need Query Details in BI Backend

Hi all,
I need to know the Characteristics, Key Figures, Variables, Filters, Calculated & Restricted Key figures used in a query. The problem is Front end tools are not opening here, so i couldnt check it up there. Is there any way that we can all of the query objects in the BI Backend system?
I tried in RSRT but i could only see the number of Char. & KF but couldnt find the name of them. I looked into Metadata repository, there i could find the Variables used in the query but the other details are not available. I also tried looking in Translation and could trace out the Calc. & Res. KF used. Now, i need to know the Characteristics & Key figures, Filters used and other details of the query.
Can somebody help me in telling me where i could find all the details about a query in the Backend?

Is 'RRMX' t-code working? If yes it will open BEx Anlyser for you & you can do anything there in change global view.

i have a problem. A company is sending data to our ECC System over our XI System.
In our consolidation System all works perfect.. no problems.. the consolidation Systems are single Instances. No load balancing or something.
I now transported the whole Scenario to our production Systems
XI Production and Backend ECC Production
Our Production ECC is loadbalanced.
Now the company gets an error when they want to connect to our Systems.
In the XI i see the following error:

I checked the etc/services also the SLD connection etc...
it works all fine.
In our Consolidation System there are NO JCO Destinations from our XI to our backend.
Do i need JCO Destination to our backend if the backend is loadbalanced?

Hi Bjoern,
The error that I see here, I suppose is from the communication channel as seen in the SXI_MONITOR.
When the XI system connects to the ECC system through the RFC communication channel, it uses the JCO connections.
As you have mentioned , the Production ECC system is Load Balanaced, the communication channel settings and configurations will be different than Quality and the development environment.

Where to see query details(urgent)

Hello Dan,
I am not sure about the BW release you are using, therefore, I would provide the solution for both the releases.
BW 3.5 (NW04)
In case, you are using BEx Analyzer or the browser for executing the query, you can see the query runtime statistics in the BW system only if the BW statistics for the InfoCube are activated on which the query is running.
Therefore, please activate the BW statistics on all the Basic InfoCubes on which the query is running. You can do this from TCode: RSDDSTAT or from RSA1-> Tools -> BW Statistics for InfoProviders.
Now, execute the query from BEx or the portal and after executing login to the BW system (ABAP system) and go to Transaction SE16.
In transaction SE16, enter the table name as (Table Name = RSDDSTAT)and in the QueryID field enter the technical name of the "query" and then press execute.
Now, you will see all the runtime statistics for the query, like the total runtime, DB time, OLAP time and the frontend time.
The other way to see the query details is to run the same query in the "Query Monitor" (TCode : RSRT) with the option "execute and debug" and in the options select "display runtime statistics". After you execute the query on the output screen, just go back and you will see the query statistics for the current exection of the query.
BI 7.0 (NW 7.0)
Same things need to be followed here also.
The difference is that you can activate the BI statistics on a query also in case of BI 7.0.
Therefore, from "RSA1 -> Tools -> Settings for BI statistics" or from TCode: RSDDSTAT, activate the statistics on the query, you are referring to.
Now, after running the query in BEx Web Analyzer or BEx Excel addin, you can again go to SE16 and here now, you need to enter the table name as "RSDDSTAT_OLAP" to see the new BI query runtime statistics.
For getting the details of the DM time, you can also use the RSDDSTAT_DM table.
The other option of RSRT is also valid in this case.

Problem 1: SAP Management Console cannot start successfully
 Problem 1.1: Click on SAP Management Console, but yellow light continues for a long period of time.
 Problem 1.2: In DOS, startsap command cannot start SAP R/3.
 Problem 1.3: Oracle 9i database automatically shutdown by itself.
 Problem 1.4: There is very low disk storage left (say less than 50MB) in the hard disk where Oracle 9i database is installed in the server.
Problem 2: Problems in User Maintenance and Security of the SAP R/3 System
 Problem 2.1: Super user account password was lost (e.g. SAP* password was lost)
 Problem 2.2: Super users DDIC and SAP* were dropped in table usr02 in Oracle.
 Problem 2.3: Some users have been locked or deleted by an ABAP programmer who has been granted with almost superuser profiles. For example, an ABAP programmer has been granted a profile of SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW but the system administrator would like to restrict all programmers form using SU01, SU02, SM01, so that no programmers can maintain other user's accounts.
Problem 3: Problems in the configuration of client copy
 Problem 3.1: A copied client from the Client 000 cannot be customized.
 Problem 3.2: No sample data in IDES after a successful client copy.
 Problem 3.3: Logging on without being authorized. A new client is created and client copied and transported successfully. However, anyone can log into the system using user SAP* with the default password PASS.
Problem 4: Problems in the installation of SAP R/3 Server
 Problem 4.1: Computer Name of the SAP R/3 server has been changed after the full installation of Oracle 9i and SAP R/3.
 Problem 4.2: A network card of a server was faulty and it was replaced by a new network card but the SAP R/3 license was expired.
 Problem 4.3: You would like to reinstall SAP R/3 on a server which has previously installed with SAP R/3 but the same error message appears during the re-installation.
Problem 5: Problems in the backup and recovery of Oracle 9i Database
 Problem 5.1: A redo log file was lost and the database could not be started.
 Problem 5.2: A group of data files were accidentally deleted and the database could not be started.
 Problem 5.3: Both the online redo log files and archived redo log files have been damaged.
Problem 6: General problems regarding the general operations and the connection to the SAP R/3 System
 Problem 6.1: After a reboot of the Windows 2003 Server, SAP service is not automatically started.
 Problem 6.2: Some users complained that the performance of SAP R/3 is really very slow.
 Problem 6.3: A user complained that his/her password was correct but he/she could not lock on the client because it was locked.

2.1 If user account of the sap* is lost u can retrive by loging into os level as sidadm type this command
DELETE SAP<sid>.USR02 where BNAME='SAP*' AND MANDT=100
This 100 is the client in which u want to delete the sap*
after that restart the server and login as sap* with the default password as pass

If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:

3.1 - If you client copy from client 000, you need to go to SCC4 and set the client to customizing chnages allowed;
3.2 - If you do a client copy from client 800 (the one that SAP delivers data in) you should have data. Client 000 is empty (almost).
3.3 - You should be able to change the password of SAP* PASS user.
I am not sure which version you are dealing with, but ERP2004 and ERP2005 allow you to change the password suring installation.
Also, there is a parameter that can be maintained that allows you to log on as SAP*. If you set as not available, no one can log on.

I'm not familiar with what MCP or MCT voltage is, but I think it's an nvidea thing.
here's a few tips that I've found on oc'ing the 790gx platinum:
Disable Cool & Quiet & C1E.
Disable Spread Spectrum.
Enable HPET. (High Precision Event Timer)
Don't enable the OC option for the onboard graphics. (Should'nt be a problem for your system, since your have an Nvidea GFX card)
I seem to get better results with ACC Disabled, but others have reported some benefit from it set to auto or in the + range.
You may find that bumping up the CPU-NB voltage a little bit may help, but it's dependant on cpu voltage too.
Keep your NB and HT speeds close to stock by reducing their multipliers as needed, OC'ing them won't give you any better performance and it can cause a lot of uneeded problems.
As you start to OC your system, only increase voltages as you neeed to, otherwise leave them on auto or at their recommended settings.
Be sure you start with a completely stable system, Memtest & Prime 95 are your friends (see stickies)! and check your system stability as you go.
Watch your system temperatures, and know the recommended temperature limits for your components. (processor, northbridge, gfx card, etc.

We are looking for a query which will fetch all the query details in the system along with the user names either who has created the query or who has run it atleast once.
If any of the queries are not used for a long time then we can delete it with the user's/owner's approval.
Is there anyway we can desing such query .

I guess it would be difficult to come up with a generic script to get answer that can help in all situations...you have to see the table definitions in your schema and try...like in case of emp and dept table,
select * from dept where deptno in
(select deptno,count(*) from emp group by deptno having count(*)>1)
(this gives rows from dept table where , for corresponding deptno there are more than one rows in emp table).
