  • Need sample application in dotnet to understand the concept of dataMining

    Hi,
    I am new to data mining and I know the genralize concept of Data Mining. I want to implement the application with Data Mining using c#.net or vb.net but don't know how to start. So any body know any sample application for data mining using c#.net or VB.net
    please share the link or source code. Which will real help me and will be food for my thought process for data mining.
    Thanks in advance.
    Pramod

    if multiple users are
    accessing the same data base row, there will be
    different primary key for each and every client.This is incorrect: the PrimaryKey is the unique identifier for each database row. It has nothing to do with users. In order for CMP to work, the container must be able to operate with a single row in the database and be able to distinquish between them.
    If your CMP->database table already has one column that's unique, then you declare that CMP field to be <primary-key-field>. If you have more than one column that makes a row unique, you must make your own primary key object. The way the container can tell the difference between these primary key objects is to compare them, therefore the hashCode and equals methods.
    Provide me the links where i can find the
    answers.This is all discusssed in the J2EE Tutorial.

  • Master detail relation in the ADF Jdev10g sample application

    Hi,
    I have to develop Master detail relation in the ADF Jdev10g. Need sample application...Can anybody help me..

    Lots and lots of tutorials [url http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/overview/index-100269.html]here
    Note: 11g has been out for some time now, and if you are doing new development, it really makes sense to be using the latest software. If, by chance, you happen to be talking about doing development for the E-Business Suite, you want to be asking on the OA Framework forum.

  • Beginner Question - Help Needed for EJB QL Sample Application

    I'm working with a group of student interns, like myself, and we've been given an assignment to work with Oracle. All of us have no training or experience with this, so we're just learning as we go.
    I've been trying to run the EJB QL Sample Application (http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/java/ejb_corba/ejbql/Install.html), but I keep running into problems at step 3.
    Now, we will deploy the sample application onto OC4J. Open another command prompt and go to the folder <OC4J_HOME>/j2ee/home and run the following commands one-by-one
    > java -jar admin.jar ormi://<machine_name>:<admin_port> admin <admin_pwd> -deploy -file <SAMPLE_HOME>/build/ejbql.ear -deploymentName Ejbql
    > java -jar admin.jar ormi://<machine_name>:<admin_port> admin <admin_pwd> -bindWebApp Ejbql ejbql-war http-web-site /ejbql
    where,
    <machine_name>      Name of the machine where OC4J Server is running
    <admin_port>      Admin Port on which the OC4J server listens. This value by default is 23791 unless explicitly changed by the user
    <admin_pwd>      Adminstrator password to access OC4J. The default value is welcome

    George,
    The Readme.html file is available with the ejbqlsample.jar downloadable (Extract and find the doc in Ejbql\docs\Readme.html) which is printable.
    Or,
    If you are trying to print the file directly from OTN site, you need to set the Page-Setup Orientation to 'Landscape'.
    Hope this helps.

    I am a new to Oracle I\PM 10gR3 and I need a guide to create a sample
    application using Filer and a sample Process.
    I have searched the net and was unable to find any documents. If any body has

    Waiting for a response.

    Please see Kenichi Unnai in his blog "How to use UWL API for NetWeaver BPM Tasks"
    How to use UWL API for NetWeaver BPM Tasks
    The .sca-file can be found on the sap service marketplace, afterwards you need to import the .sca-file, add the SC to your "MyComponents" and then you can select your necessary DC's.

  • Need free development account to host sample application to host in Windows Azure platform.

    Hi all,
    I just started exploring the application on Windows Azure platform. Locally my sample application is working perfectly.
    Now I am thinking to host it on Microsoft Windows Azure platform. I started googling and found that it required the valid account which also requires some cost as well. But my application is not a real world apps. It is just a "HelloWorld" application and
    I want to know how the things works in Azure platform.
    After tons of experiment I could not find any free account to host a application.
    If Microsoft won't provide such a development account how would I start my application in Azure platform.
    If I am wrong can anyone suggest me to create a development account on Azure platform.
    Quick response is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Sanjay

  • Information needed on Sample applications

    Hi all,
    Can any one tell us where we can find in the version 8.1 Platform
    1. EBCC Application present in the version 7.0 which was used to manage
    e-shop application using commerce. I can find only the wlcs tables in the
    database but no apps?
    2. Is there any application in 8.1 to manage the database tables of a portal
    and wlcs ?
    3. Personalization examples which were present in 7.0 server ?
    4. B2C commerce sample application which were present in 7.0 ?

    2. Is there any application in 8.1 to manage the database tables of aportal

    the product. See http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs81/db/
    3. Personalization examples which were present in 7.0 server ?No significant changes were made to the personalization API's, so
    the examples weren't included in 8.1. There is documentation in
    Workshop showing use of the tags.
    4. B2C commerce sample application which were present in 7.0 ?
    Not included in 8.1. Components haven't changed.
    5. When the SP2 is goin to release ?
    I believe this month.

  • Need help to register HFM sample applications in Shared Services

    Hi all,
    I have installed HFM 9.3.1 on the server and I have issues in locating the sample application in the HFM console. I want to register the sample application with Hyperion shared services. But when I tried opening the application, I do not see the sample application and also got an error saying,"cannot connect to server".
    When I tried creating new application I got an error saying,"there is an error retrieving the user management project list.Please verify that the project exists".
    All I want to do is, to provision the shared services users to the HFM sample applications. Could you provide some suggestions to overcome this issue? I'll appreciate your quick response.
    Regards,
    Leo

    Try using the server name instead of the cluster name.

  • Attn: Installing the Sample Applications from the ifs Development Kit

    There are a number of problems with the sample Applications included in the
    Developer's kit. These need to manually fixed in order to get the demos to work.
    #1: Solaris Only
    The install of the iFS Development Kit, replaces the existing adk.jar with a new
    one containing some additional classes. Unfortunately the install process does not
    set the correct privileges on the new version of adk.jar. Please ensure that the
    file $ORACLE_HOME/ifs/lib/adk.jar is world readable.
    Bug # 1304730
    This issue will be resolved on the next drop of the Oracle Internet File System
    development kit.
    #2: Generic
    There is a problem with the way in which the login.jsp establishes a connection to
    the repository. The current code makes incorrect assumptions about the name of the
    iFS Service and the schema password.
    The following changes are required.
    In order to connect to the repository 4 pieces of information are required.
    1. The iFS User Name
    2. The iFS User's password
    3. The properties file to be used
    4. The database password of the user who owns the iFS Schema
    The Login.jsp needs to be altered so that it requests these four arguments before
    attempting to establish a connection to the repository.
    (The current version only requests username and password).
    All four arguments need to be provided as arguments to the login method on the
    underlying JavaBean that the JSP invokes when it want to open a connection
    to the repository.

    used by the iFS protocol servers. This means that they will not be able to load any
    customer renderers that extend BaseRenderer. In order to make BaseRenderer available
    to the Protocol Servers it need to be placed in the appropriate directory under
    <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/custom_classes.
    Extract the class from the ifsdevkit.jar.
    ifsdevkit.jar is located in <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/lib after the devkit has been installed.
    jar -xvf ifsdevkit.jar
    extracted: META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
    extracted: BaseRenderer.class
    Create the following directory heirachy in <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/custom classes
    oracle/ifs/server/renderers
    Copy <ORACLE_HOME>/ifs/lib/BaseRenderer.class to
    <ORACLE_HOME/ifs/custom_classes/oracle/ifs/server/renderers
    That should do it.

    Magesh,
    As I already posted, you need a C compiler installed.buildclient
    merely invoke the system compiler.

    Three steps to solve this problem:
    1. Set the LANG environment variable: set LANG=English_United
    States.1252;
    2. In the tuxedo directory Tuxedo\locale, make a new directory named
    English_United States.1252;
    3. Copy all files in diirectory Tuxedo\locale\C into the newdirectory.

  • Oracle Spatial book sample application

    Hi all,
    On Monday I received the Oracle Spatial book and I would like to post a topic about it. First of all I would like to congratulate the authors for their huge effort doing this excellent book. I think it will be very useful to the people that works with Spatial.
    Next, my question is about the sample application showed in chapter 12 (SampleApplication.jsp). I run correctly mapviewer in my server and I can do the other examples, nevertheless when I want to start this application I recieve this error message about 'jdbc/spatial10g not found' in my web browser:

    I am using Java 2 Runtime Environment version 1.4.2_02 and I think I have correctly configured the shared libraries in the oc4j server (sdoapi.jar, sdonm.jar, ojdbc14.jar, etc.). Anyway, I think I will be missing something but I don't know what.
    I would be very grateful if somebody could help me.
    Juan M.

    Hi Juan
    Thanks for purchasing our book, and thanks also for the kind words.
    I think I know what that problem is.
    The application uses the network API. That API needs a database connection for the initial loading of the network. The connection used is provided by OC4J. This is done in the following code lines in the SampleApplication.jsp:
    // Get JDBC database connection
    InitialContext ic = new InitialContext();
    DataSource ds = (DataSource) ic.lookup("jdbc/"+dataSource.toLowerCase());
    Connection conn = ds.getConnection();
    // Load network
    net = NetworkManager.readNetwork(conn, networkName);
    In other words, for this to work, you need a datasource defined for OC4J, called "jdbc/spatial10g" (since dataSource is defined by default to be "SPATIAL10G".
    To define the datasource, refer to chapter 11, page 499, at the bottom of the page. You need to add the following to your data-sources.xml config file ($OC4J_HOME/j2ee/home/config/data-sources.xml):
    <data-source
    class="com.evermind.sql.DriverManagerDataSource"
    name="spatial10g"
    location="jdbc/spatial10gCore"
    xa-location="jdbc/xa/spatial10gXA"
    ejb-location="jdbc/spatial10g"
    connection-driver="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
    username="spatial"
    password="spatial"
    url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:orcl101"
    inactivity-timeout="30"
    />
    (Adapt the url parameter to match your database definition)
    Thanks for pointing out this problem. We will update the errata page (http://www.apress.com/book/errataDisplay.html?bID=315&sID=2374) with clearer instructions.

  • BPM Sample Applications Released

    Hello All,
    I would like to announce the release of the new package of BPM sample applications using SAP NetWeaver BPM technology.  SAP customers and partners will find them ready-to-run in the [Enterprise Services Workplace|http://esworkplace.sap.com] (ES Workplace) ([http://esworkplace.sap.com|http://esworkplace.sap.com]) environment, together with technical documentation, process models, coding, and demo data. They serve as a starting point and accelerator for SOA projects using SAP NetWeaver BPM, and as a tool for demo and training purposes.
    These  BPM sample applications are implementations of typical business processes, such as:
        u2022     Approve Sales Order Change Request
        u2022     Approve Purchase Requisition and Create Purchase Order
        u2022     Manage Leave Request
        u2022     Unexpected Returns Handling
        u2022     Phase In Equipment
    In addition, the SOA landscape hosted on the ES Workplace site has been upgraded to Support Package 3 of SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4. It comes with refreshed IDES test data, which allows customers and partners to apply updated and standardized test data to their demos, tests and development. To get immediate benefit, customers and partners need to renew their passwords as of November 2, 2009. All registered ES Workplace users will be informed via email by next week.
    You can share your experience with the samples in this BPM forum. If you have any questions, post them here as well, I will try to answer everyone.
    Thanks, Preslav

    Hi Manish,
    thanks for the feedback. You are right, we omitted exception handling in the process for this first set of BPM Samples fully focusing on the business process and the enterprise services. For a real productive solution exception handling needs to be added, of course - but for the purpose of BPM Simple Samples this would distract from the essential parts. We are currently considering more complex Samples which then will also include exception handling using the features of upcoming NetWeaver BPM 720.
    Regarding your question about best practice of using business rules, can you please be a bit more specific which BPM Sample and task you are referring to?
    Best regards,
    Christoph
