Need to change Date field Zone from IST to UST

Guys,
I have to develop a application in which there is a Date field. This date is coming from Application Server i.e. R3 and is in India, terefore it's IST. Now when this application is run from US, it should give the UST.
Means Actually I want to change the Date from IST to UST.
Can somebody please reply with the coding that needs to be done.

The payment methods that are available in your country will show on your account. If debit cards aren't available on that screen then you won't be able to use it as your payment method.

Need to Change data in PDF form field with importData operation

This should be simple, right?
I have a PDF form that is submitted. At a certain step in the process, I need to modify the value of one field from within the process. I am using a PDF document in the default formData document variable. To do this, I am using the exportData operation from the FormDataIntegration service to get XML. I then use the setValue service to modify one node of the XML. Finally, I use the importData operation from the FormDataIntegration service to import the modified data back into the PDF.
Problem is that I am getting an error. It says: ALC-FDI-001-304: Only XDP data is supported with XFA forms.
Any advice? Jasmin, Jayan, Paul, anyone?

My theory is that when you export the data you do get xdp data.
Now when you modify the node you don't have the right xPath to that node and if that's the case, it might be overwriting the entire xml.
This is causing the xml not to be in xdp data format and you get the error.
Could you post the data you get from the exportData operation and then the xml you try to use by the importData?

I have moved back to Nairobi from London and need to change the default time zone on iCal. However, when I do it changes the appointment time.
Is there any way I can say 'from this point on, I am in a different time zone, please don't change the times of my appointments and get the alarm times right on iCal and when synchronising with my iTouch'.

1) you have to do it for each event.
2) as for time display: go to system preferences>date&time and select 24-hour clock rather than am/pm, then go to system preferences>international>formats>times>customize, then customize the short, medium, long and full to show the 24hr setting - also remove the AM/PM of course and drag whatever field is appropriate as in hour, minutes..

I don't know the iOS behavior so I will answer for OSX.
At this time, on your machine, Numbers use the decimal comma.
This means that your system is set to behave this way.
Enter the System's Preference Pane entitled "Language and Text" and customize the number's format.
In this screenshot you may see the default French settings.
Replace the comma by the period in both "Decimale" fields then restart the machine.
The system will use the decimal period and Numbers will do too.
Assuming that one day you want to revert to decimal comma, no problem, revert the system's setting.
Numbers will be fair enough to adapt itself to the new state.
In fact, it store decimal numbers in the English format : decimal period and adjust on the fly according to system settings.

Change date field to a default date

Hello,
my requirement is such that i need to have a Valid to Date as 31/31/9999,
I tried using left(systime(0),11) which will give me for eg, 12/10/2010, which i need to change to 31/31/9999
How do i achieve this.

1stly, please correct your default date as there is no month of 31.. in MM/DD/YYYY. Mention the exact default month are you looking for. I am assuming you want your Default date as 12/31/9999 for DateField.
So if you want to populate DateField as 12/31/9999.. Create an assignment and assign DateField as assignment field and in expression write 3067670, it will populate automatically DateField as 31 Dec 9999 in your required format.

Changing Date/Time(zone) on ACS5.1

Would love to know where I can change the date/time(zone) within ACS v5.1. Changing it in the BIOS doesn't have a zone option, just date/time. ACS then displays something completely different upon boot. Haven't been able to find any settings for this in the GUI, and the one link I did find in a discussion points to a doc that apparently I'd need special access for.
Attempting to join this to AD, so instructions on setting up the NTP server would also be helpful.
None of these options were available during the clean setup of 5.1.

A valid dats fields is successfully received by my pipelines.
But when an empty Dats field is received, My pipeline fails and i get error.

Hi Anant,
This is because the legacy SAP adapter accepted RFC messages with date field empty. In the new version, the same call results in an error. WCF-SAP adapter doesn't allow blank XML nodes.
You need to use the below custom pipeline component as a workaround.

Planning function to change date field value in layout

Hello experts,
I have 1 BPS layout with 2 date fields ( Start date, End date ). With a filter conditions, set of data comes in BPS layout on execution and 2 date fields also contain some value...I want to change values of these 2 dates...both the date fields are char infoobjects..in BPS layout, in planning function I got only 1 function ( Repost function ) to change the value of char infoobject based on some condition. but date field value is not the status field...i want to enter new date instead of old date..if i right exit function in that also i can change only keyfigs values..so please help me to solve this problem..

As of now master data planning is not so flexibly supported.
Still u can refer the below link which is enhancement of standard Repost function,and can be used to change master data.
