Need to find replacement for USB cord

Hello!
(I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong area, but it seems the Toshiba website is a bit of a hassle to navigate through so I gave up, and hoped that the forums could offer me assistance.)
Ok, so a couple of years ago I recieved a Toshiba External Hard Drive (model: HDDR160E03X). It worked great, stored all the files that needed stored etc. But the cord that came with it broke, and was repaired a couple of times. Now the cord is to the point where it cannot be repaired anymore (without a serious amount of work at least).
So I am looking for a USB cord that will work for it. I've tried multiple cords already, but they don't power the external hard drive (it is USB powered) so it doesn't work properly. I haven't been able to find a replacement, which brings me here! Does anybody know where I could find one?
Any help is appreciated.

You don't say so, but I infer it's one of those cables that draws power from two USB ports (aka "Y Cable"). If so, here's one.

    - Try another cable.
    - Try another USB port
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Try on another computer. Just backup a couple of times. Do not sync.

This indicates the device is in recovery mode.
Connect it to a computer running iTunes and restore it.

  • Is it possible I need to replace my usb cord?

I have a iPod touch 5 gen and just today I've been having trouble charging. I usually charge my iPod with the two front ports of my computer, but when I went to plug it in, it was only a connected for a few seconds and didn't show up as connected anymore. The cord near where you plug it in to the iPod itself is a little twisted up, but it never really caused a problem before. I also noticed one thing when I was messing a little with the charger cord, I had my external hard drive plugged in the front ports also and I can tell it's working because of the sound of the fan inside and the small blue light on the hardrive. When I plugged in the charger by itself in the front ports, my external hard drive shut off and didn't connect. I'm starting to think that the charger for my ipod needs to be replace but I want to make sure it's that and not my ipod itself.

    - Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • Need to find table for dispute case attachments in service for objects

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to find some tables which will hold details of dispute case attachments. After a dispute case is created using UDM_DISPUTE transaction, the concerned person may open that dispute case and can attach some documents/any attachments using services for objects icon at the top left corner of the screen. All i want to know is, in which table (tables related to service object) this attachment details will be stored. Even if the attachments details are stored in service objects related tables, there should be some link for this attachment and dispute case. Please let me know if any of you have some pointers and it would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Srilakshmi.

    Hi a®s,
Thanks for your reply. An entry is getting created in this table SRGBTBREL whenever an attachment/URL/notes is attached to a dispute case using services for object and the link between this table and dispute case table SCMG_T_CASE_ATTR is INSTID_A. This field holds the value of CASE GUID from SCMG_T_CASE_ATTR. Now my requirement is whenever an attachment is present in a dispute case i need to set a customized checkbox present in UDM_DISPUTE screen so that when an user opens the dispute case he/she can understand some attachment is present for this case by seeing the checkbox. I found the SCMG* badi's are not helpful to set the checkbox. Please let me know if you have any idea on how to implement it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Srilakshmi.

  • Need Laptop Audio Amplifier for USB Connected Speakers

For a laptop, does Creative have any kind of audio amplifier for USB connected speakers?
I think the laptop has what is called an Express 54 slot.
I am looking for amplification suitable for speakers, not headphones.

If their only connection to the laptop is via USB than you can't amp them without doing some internal modifications. It means the speakers have their own audio device internally which is receiving signal via the USB port, processing it and then outputting it via likely a weak amp stage to the speakers - you'd have to physically intercept that last part of the chain to add an amplifier.
Not saying it can't be done but you're looking at either harvesting an existing amp (which Creative don't seem to sell) or creating one from scratch (like the Penguin Mint amp, Objective 2, etc) for the purpose.

  • G62 can't find drivers for USB mouse

For some reason I can't get my wired mouse OP-35D to work with Windows 7. When I plug it in ti the USBslot the PC can identify that its a USB mouse but can't find any drivers. I've downloded drivers from the manufacturers homepage but it's still not working. Tried four different USB mouse both wired and wireless, same result. USB-memorysticks, USB-harddrives are working fine.
    Solution anyone?

Open Device manager and Expand USB Controllers, right click on everything labeled as device or hub and select uninstall, do this one at a time. Once this is done restart the notebook.

  • Performing a Find/Replace for an entire Folder of html files

    Hello,
I have been working away on adding an include to my html pages and getting the code all set up for a header and footer. With lots of help from kind people on this forum I finally have it working!
Now I want to add this to an entire folder of 500 or so HTML pages.
Can someone walk me through how to do this?
I also want to eliminate some stupid code that I put in years ago to prevent right clicking.
Perhaps this is a multi step job? First get rid of old code. Then add new header. Then add new footer???
Here is the fully functioning page with the new code:

Thank you for the info. I did as you described and it worked like a charm.
I have removed the old code and added in teh header.
I'm kind of stumped as to how to put in the footer though as there isnt really anything to "find"?
How can I replace something at the very end of the document??

  • Need to find source for HTMLDB 1.6 programs

    Hello,
Our infrastructure team recently changed our email server and broke a number of programs. I am using HTML-DB 1.6 (we are in the process of installing new equipment after which we will upgrade this install). In the meantime, I have used UTL_SMTP in a number of programs and now need to go back and change those programs.
Unfortunately I do not remember exactly what programs and how frequently I used it. I need a way in HTML-DB 1.6 to find all occurances of this code. I know the source is stored in a table, but I do not know the schema and table name. A query against these tables may provide what I need.
Can anyone provide me with the information as to where the tables are, a different way to collect the information in HTML-DB 1.6, or even the query itself to pull the data.
    Thanks you in advance,
    Adam

    Adam,
If this code is embedded in the application itself, and not in stored procedures, you can connect to the database using SQL*Plus as FLOWS_010600 and run:
...for page processes display application ID and page ID
    select flow_id,flow_step_id from wwv_flow_step_processing where instr(lower(process_sql_clob),'utl_smtp') > 0
...for application processes display application ID
    select flow_id from wwv_flow_processing where instr(lower(process_sql_clob),'utl_smtp') > 0

  • Need to find software for iwork 09 that is corrupt. i have a license for it.

I have a license for iwork09 but the software has become corrupt. None of the applications work now. I need to be able to download the software again. I have an original order number and license number but cannot find the software to download without paying for it again.

The last I read this site has the trial you can download. Proceed at your own risk, I haven't tried it nor do I have a need to do so.
