Need to get MS explorer again
most people seem to agree that Explorer was no good, but there is one place where it was superior to both firefox and safari- the saving options. you had a bunch of different options, allowing you to make save an archive of a site, several levels of links deep. also you could select part of a page and save only that. seems like an esoteric use, but i need it sometimes. anyone know where i can get my hands on the last live version of explorer for mac, and if it would run on leopard?
I am using firefox for better security and smooth use, but the saving options rot a lot. if you save a page as "webpage, complete" you end up with a file and a folder, which you have to keep together.
safari gives you only one file, but it gives you even fewer saving options.
i can't decide which is worse.
does anyone perhaps anyone make a patch for this issue in either firefox or safari?

There seem to be new updates buzzing around but I just recently got all my bookmarks to sync on 2 computers and now all of the sudden Firefox does not work at all on either. It takes a few minutes just to boot a page and then there is a lag time when I type anything so I cant even see what I am typing both in search window, nav bar, and on sites. Some bits of the window come through in pieces and it seems like the whole application is dead. I need all my passwords back if I am going to have to switch to safari!!! Please get firefox to work again.
Honestly posts in these forums are unrealistically skewed since very few people come here when their devices are working o.k and post as much.
Considering there is a pool of tens of millions of iOS devices that updated to iOS 8 and only a very very small percentage are posting issues, like under 100,000 if we are to be honest, I think its fairly unlikely you ill run into any issues.
But of course no one can guarantee one way or the other.
Al anyone can offer is personal experience in this case.
I updated an iPhone 5, an iPad 2 , and an iPad Mini and have had no issues with any device.
Many of my friends updated there devices as well, and nobody has mentioned having any issues with them. -
Is there any software that i can download from the web to fix my phone? i bought it off the streets and the software and driver must have been deleted cause i can only get the itunes logo and i cant restore it.
There is no driver software on the iPhone that anyone can remove, per se. Why can't you restore? Is the iPhone not recognized in iTunes? If not, see:

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

If you have set this phone up, then there would not necessarily be a solution here until you have been verify with the provider that everything is provisioned correctly on their end. Since the 3G comes from your cellular provider, if the settings are correct on the phone, then you should work with the carrier next.

I believe if you were to ask Adobe Support they would tell you that CS3 is no longer supported by their services, if that is what you are refering to when you say "being supported". That means they are not likely to offer assistance with you re-establishing it.
But you can probably re-establish it yourself. If you need to download it there is a place for that available:

Can I exchange for a new laptop? Since December it has been having hardware issues and it has already needed to get parts changed twice already. My laptop is not working properly again. I feel like I have unfortunately gotten a lemon laptop.
Apple will repair or replace at its discretions, parts found to be defective in materials or workmanship.
You will have to discuss whether your history warrants a complete replacement with the folks at the Genius Bar.
I do not speak for Apple, but it sounds to me like you have been unlucky, but not unlucky enough (or have spent so much time with your MacBook in the shop) to warrant a complete replacement.
You have not provided any details of what the faults were or what was replaced. If they replaced the motherboard, you already got a new computer -- because everything except the drive and the display is on that board. -

There are a couple things that I would recommend trying. Try closing all open applications and power cycle the device. Next, go through the section labeled Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in the second article below. If the issue persists, try completely signing out of the iTunes Store on the iOS device and sign back in. Be sure to test downloading an application after each step.

True, it's retired as working machine but serves as family entertainment center.At this point you have 2 choices.
Erase the disk entirely and reinstall (you will lose everything that is not backed up)
Take it to an Apple Store (you will probably lose everything that is not backed up)
I believe this is a hardware (HDD) issue and would expect a Store trip to be the best approach, sorry.
