Need to make "opening date" mandatory in SRM RFx Header Screen

Dear All,
Working for SRM component "/SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_RFQ_H_BD" there is field "OPEN_DATE_TIME" which i need to make it mandatory .
There is standard config to do the same but its not happening through that is there any way I could do the same.
I have also tried to enhanced the application and made it mandatory in MODIFYVEW method and given the error message also but it allowed the RFx to get publised even tough the date is not entered.
Really appreciate the same if anyone has come across such requirement.

In my system works fine, I've added the following code in badi BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI and I can't publish my RFX without filling that field...

You can select the Payment Term at PO Header Level.
When you book an invoice, that Payment Term will automatically defaulted to Invoice.
You can define Payment Term in AP.
Payment terms have one or more payment terms lines, each of which creates one scheduled payment. Each payment terms line and each corresponding scheduled payment has a due date or a discount date based on either a specific day of a month, such as the 15th of the month, or a number of days added to your terms date, such as 14 days after the terms date.

In txn. SHDO create a screen Variant for the tcode MIRO (prog. SAPLFDCB, Screen 0020).
Then click on Create icon from top
It will open the MIRO screen, then click on payment tab, maintain entries in baseline date then clik enter it will popup one screen, there you need to flag under "output Only" for Baseline date, then save.
this setting will make non editable field.

With the help of Incompleteness Procedure u can make this Pricing date mandatory.
Go to Path IMG->Sales & Dist->Basic Funtions->Incompleteness Procedure-->Select Billing->
Select u r billing document and keep the field pricing date as the incompleteprocedure, then when ever u do the billing without filing the pricing date the document will not be completly saved.

Need to Make the DATA Load Faster

I need to load the data from the source to the target like 90 tables. The source has 36 million rows in some of the tables it is taking a long time altough I have dropped the indexes on the target. Is there any trigger on the table you're inserting? You could consider disabling constraints (in case any exists) if you're sure enough of the data you're inserting and no one else "touches" the table while you're working on it.

From configuration(SPRO) u can easily make some fields mandatory in XK01. Otherwise create a transaction varition for XK01 using TC SHD0.

How do i make a DATA file in garage band

ok here is what im trying to do. i need to make a DATA file in garage band and i need to make it possible for the DATA file to be used on Pro Tools so the song can be mixed and mastered. any tips on how to do this?

What I assume you are trying to do is export a MIDI file. GarageBand does not do this, and I don't know of any add-ons which allow it (MidiO allows you to play out MIDI to an external device so you might be able to route this to ProTools). Of course if you do this you won't be using the instruments which are in GB, and the results you get will depend on what you have available in ProTools.
However you can export GarageBand tracks as audio and them mix them in another program. I do this in Cubase LE because its mixing facilities are way better than GarageBand's. This note will tell you how to do it, just substitute ProTools for Cubase:

I need to make custom data validation on standard form.
I Oracle Credit Management module on "Create Credit Application: Applicant" form I need
to validate chosen currency against customer setup (whether there is customer profile amount for the currency).

You have to find your GO button is handled in which standard controller, (if you click on the about this page, you should be able to identify the controller,
or you can download all the controller .class files and decompile and check the logic).
Then extend that controller(which has the Go button logic, you can see how it has been handled.),
The usual way to check is
if(pageContext.getParameter('<Go button name>') !=null)
Since you want to validate first your custom validation, in the extended controller ProcessFormRequest
dont call the super.processFormRequest unless your validation is success.
Call the super at the end.
Inside your extended controller you have to find your AM and then your required ViewObject to get the user entered values.

Mandatory parameter field in selection screen

Hi Experts,
As there are 2 options to get the input from the user. When I use select options because I need to make the field mandatory, it displays the output(blank) whenever there is no input/irrelevant input. When I use parameters, I cannot make it mandatory.
I need to display text boxes in the selection screen which should be mandatory and should only proceed when the user enters relevant data.
Please note that I have put the validation in the select options for a field like month as:
if s_month-low > '12' or s_month < '1'.
     MESSAGE 'Please enter a valid month' type 'E'.
endif.
but for a id, there is a search help. If the user do not enter the value from a search help, it displays the blank output. How to put validation on this?

Hi Mani,
You can do a validation at AT Selection Screen.Basically it will do a select single and try to fetch any line item.
A sample example as follows..
At Selection-Screen on S_DATE.
if S_date is not initial.
Perform validatedate.
Endif.
Form Validatedate.
Select single date
          from DB table
         where date in S_date.
endform.
if Sysubrc ne 0.
MESSAGE 'Please enter a valid month' type 'E'.
endif.

You can use standard program RSMODPRF.
Execute this standard program without giving any input
and select the data element whatever you want to make mandatory and click on Assign prog/screen button click OK and come back.
now give required data element and execute the program again
and write the code to make that datea element mondatory.
