Needs steps in ID(configaration) for Proxy to JMS scenario

Hi All,
Please can anybody give steps for Proxy to JMS scenario in Integration Directory .
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Kalpana

kalpana,
Create two communication channels in ID. One for Proxy(XI adapter) and another for JMS(JMS adapter). Then sender agreement, receiver agreement, receiver determination and interface determination.
For JMS adapter please see this weblogs:

  • Proxy to JMS Scenario: switch from sync to async proxy,does it makes sense?

    Hi @all,
    i've implemented a sync proxy to JMS scenario that works well. Backend is ECC 6.0 and Middleware is PI 7.1.
    Business Case: Run a request with a number and get a response back with a corresponding entry for the number. That means, there is always a response expected.
    Now the following thing appears: the receiver system could not handle many calls at one time (200 calls are planned at each run), the calls reduces the performance. Now gys at receiver system likes to develope a buffer of 10 seconds between the requests to handle some kind of load balancing with that. That means for the request that it the response takes +10 seconds back to backend. It is also possible to handle that in SAP backend with a waiting-statement in coding, so there is no need to go from sync to async - but the customer requested us to implement this scenario in async.
    JMS is always async, I know. But the Service Interfaces for Inbound and Outbound are of mode sync - so I can call my outbound Interface class in backend with Importing Output and Exporting Input.
    My question is: makes it sense to go from sync to an async scenario?
    And how looks the coding in backend for the response? I guess that it only makes sense to switch to async when no response entry is needed (example: for write operations).
    Thanks in Advance,
    Stefan

    > But in case of switching, what is the best way?
    > Should I implement 2 senarios? Or is it ok to switch the Inbound and Outbound Service Interface from sync to async?
    I don't think you need 2 scenarios for this. Just one is enough with different RDs.
    Over all in this case you have to re-create/modify the service interfaces and also you have to create 2 interface mappings. You have to also create the new inbound and outbound proxies since service interface mode will be changed. For outbound proxy the code can be reused and for inbound proxy also logic and code can be taken from your old code.

  • Proxy-2-JMS Scenario: more than 10 additional JMS properties possible

    Hi @all,
    we're implementing a Proxy-2-JMS-Scenario. The JMS reciever side needs unfortunalety more than 10 additional JMS properties. In XI/PI the maximum number of additional JMS properties is 10.
    Do somebody know a good workaround in PI how to deal with it?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi @all,
    there is no way to handle with more than 10 additional jms properties for jms header.

    Hi,
    In Proxy To File Scenario, please let me know whether we have to create inbound Message Interface or not ?

  • Character Encoding for IDOC to JMS scenario with foreign characters

    Dear Experts,
    The scenario is desribed as follows:
    Issue Description:
    There is an IDOC which is created after extracting data from different countries (but only one country at a time). So, for instance first time the data is picked in Greek and Latin and corresponding IDOC is created and sent to PI, the next time plain English and sent to PI and next Chinese and so on. As of now every time this IDOC reaches PI ,it comes with UTF-8 character encoding as seen in the IDOC XML.
    I am converting this IDOC XML into single string flat file (currently taking the default encoding UTF-8) and sending it to receiver JMS Queue (MQ Series). Now when this data is picked up from the end recepient from the corresponding queue in MQ Series, they see ? wherever there is a Greek/latin characters (may be because that should be having a different encoding like ISO-8859_7). This is causing issues at their end.
    My Understanding
    SAP system should trigger the IDOC with the right code page i.e if the IDOC is sent with Greek/Latin code page should be ISO-8859_7, if this same IDOC is sent with Chinese characters the corresponding code page else UTF-8 or default code page.
    Once this is sent correctly from SAP, Java Mapping should have to use the correct code page when righting the bytes to outputstream and then we would also need to set the right code page as JMS Header before putting the message in the JMS queue so that receiver can interpret it.
    Queries:
    1. Is my approach for the scenario correct, if not please guide me to the right approach.
    2. Does SAP support different code page being picked for the same IDOC based on different data set. If so how is it achieved.
    3. What is the JMS Header property to set the right code page. I think there should be some JMS Header defined by MQ Series for Character Encoding which I should be setting correctly) I find that there is a property to set the CCSID in JMS Receiver Adapter but that only refers to Non-ASCII names and doesn't refer to the payload content.
    I would appreciate if anybody can give me pointers on how to resolve this issue.
    Thanks,

  • Error in synchronous( abap proxy to soap)scenario

    Hi experts,
    My scenario is synchronous abap proxy to sysnchronous soap. for proxy I am using business system name as ERDCLNT220 and soap business system name as BS_HRS_DEV

    Your exception message shows problem at the webservice side.
    Check the following:
    a) you need two mappings one for proxy req to soap request and other soap response to proxy response
    b) You need to create service interfaces both sender and receiver synchronous .
    c) communication channel  QOS is best effort for both sender and receiver
    d) I dont see problem in soap configuration. Bcuz you are able to ping and while getting response from the method getPerson it fails.
    f) See your SOAP response structure matches with WSDL provided.
    g) You can also test outside PI.. I meant testing via soap client tool like SOAPUI  for that web service. So that you know whether problem exists on the target system or not.
    Hope that helps.

  • Proxy to JMS and JMS to Proxy - Szenario

    Hi @all,
    i've implemented an async scenario:
    Proxy to JMS (away, request)
    JMS to Proxy (way back, response)
    Backend is ECC 6.0 and Middleware is PI 7.1.
    Business Case: Run a request with a number, get an answer back with an entry. The number is an individual criteria which is not included in the answer. So I decided to write the number in JMSCorrelationID, therefore I've written an UDF in Message Mapping.
    I've checked the JMS Correlation ID in additional properties and also added this into the list of additional properties:
    key.0 -> read xxxx DCJMSCorreleationID
    value.0 -> DCJMSCorrelationID.
    First question: is there something what I should account for in JMS receiver channel?
    At the way back I've implemented another UDF for writing the JMSCorrelationID back to payload in message mapping.
    But I'm not sure that works. The coding looks like:
    try
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration)
    container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey KEY_JMSCorrID = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS","DCJMSCorrelationID");
    String a = conf.get(KEY_JMSCorrID);
    catch(Exception e){}
    return a; //a is an input field for the payload back to SAP backend.
    Second question: is there something what I should accound for JMS sender channel? Do I need to add the DCJMSCorreleationID to the list of additional properties (JMS Correlation is checked)?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Stefan

    Hi,
    thank you for your answer.
    The Proxy to JMS scenario works well and overwrites the JMSCorrelationID given by a number from message payload.
    Could you please take a look at the given udf-coding that belongs to JMS to Proxy Scenario?
    Is it possible to get the JMSCorrelation at this way?
    I also put in JMS-Sender-Channel the JMSCorrelationID into the additional JMS-Message properties and checked "correlation-id from jms message" in adapter specific message attributes.
    In Module-Tab of JMS-Sender-Channel i put the module-configuration in a way like this:
    -> key.0 insert http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/JMS DCJMSCorreleationID
    -> value.0 DCJMSCorreleationID
    Do you think that works?
    I could not verify this configuration until I get an entry in outbound queue so I can't make tests to that.
    In Message Mapping - Test a Null Pointer Exception Occurs, according to the UDF, because I'm reading the DCJMSCorreleationID which is not present at mapping ad hoc test - I think that is ok.
    Thank you in Advance,
    Stefan

    Yes.
    if given a option which adapter would you choose b/w  receiver jms or  jdbc ?
    Completely depends on what the receiving system is and other details.

    How do I sync my new ipad mini with my old ipad 2, without losing any apps or data in notes?  I need step by step instructions for first-time sync with ipad mini.  Thanks.

    If you synced it many times, you have to have a backup. It's just a question of how old that backup is now. When did you last sync?
    First of all launch iTunes on your computer and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. Do you see any backups for you iPad in that window? If so, how new is the newest backup? That will be the backup that you will want to use. But remember that if you use that backup and it is one month old, you can only restore from that date back in time. Anything that you did on the iPad in the past month will not be in that backup.
    Turn on the new iPad Minin and start activating OTA via WiFi. You will get to a certain point in the process where you will be given the choice to Set up as new, Restore from iCloud - or Restore from iTunes. You will want to select Restore from iTunes.
    That is the short and sweet version. There are step by step instructions in this article. This applies to the mini as well as the iPad 4 or the iPad 3 for that matter.

  • ECM 11.1.1.5.0 - need steps for SSO integration and configuration

    Hi,
    I want to upgrade recent UCM 10g to ECM (or Webcenter Content) 11g. I passed via upgrade process and it looks it is working fine. Need some validation, but basically upgrade went fine.
    But I lost SSO (Windows Login) functionality, asi this ECM 11g is weblogic based and uses a bit different authentication than old version.
    My current test instance setup is:
    Oracle database 11gR2
    Weblogic 10.3.6.0
    Oracle Enterprise Content Management Suite (ECM) 11.1.1.5.0
    All running on the same linux machine
    Currently I am only able to:
    - define static users / groups in the weblogic's default authenticator
    - define ldap authenticator in weblogic which can authenticate users defined in ldap
    And I need to make it SSO capable (meant once user is authenticated in our windows domain, then when using Internet Explorer there is no need to enter user/password anymore)
    I read some documentation and there they claim Oracle Identity Management / Access Manager is the right solution. But I do not know how to properly install and configuration of this.
    Is there anybody here in this world who would provide some simple steps what needs to be done for enabling SSO for ECM 11.1.1.5.0 ?
    When I read oracle documentation I am finding it to be written too much in general with too many referencing to too many other documents... I am searching for some kind of simplified installation guide for getting this SSO thing working.
    Anybody here who could support me?

    Hi
    Steps for integration SSO (be it OAM or Oracle SSO or AD / LDAP etc ) the steps remain same except for one .
    1. On WLS create the identity store provider .
    This can be OID Authenticator , AD Authenticator , LDAP Authenticator depending on what you are using to store the users and their roles /groups etc .
    2. Create SSO Identity Asserter .
    This should be either AD Asserter (in case of using AD) , OAM Identity Asserter (if using OAM) , SSO Asserter (if using OID based SSO solution) .
    3. Order the providers created in the following order and the respective flag settings :
    Identity Asserter - REQUIRED
    Identity Store Provider - SUFFICIENT
    Default Authenticator - SUFFICIENT
    After this is created stop UCM and WLS .
    Start WLS admin , once it is up and running start UCM server .
    Go to WLS - Security Realm - myrealm - Users and groups and verify the right set of users are seen with their correct groups .
    Now launch UCM server and depending on which SSO solution is used the login page will vary where in the SSO user id / pwd can be entered .
    Hope this helps .
    Thanks
    Srinath

  • Proxy to JDBC scenario need dynamic sql query for sender .

    Hi Experts,
    I am developing proxy to jdbc scenario. in this i need to pass dynamic sql query  whre we are passing classical method like below.
    while we are passing select stmt in constant and mapped with access field  and key field mapped with key field.
    MY requirement is like instead of passing select stmt in constant where i can generate dynamically and passed in one field and mapped with access field.

    Hi Ravinder,
    A simple UDF or use of graphical mapping functions in most cases should provide you everything you need to construct a dynamic SQL statement for your requirement.

    I can help. There is no full feature software and driver available from HP, but the OS X v10.9 Mavericks driver for your printer is available through Apple Software Update (ASU).
    With this driver you can still print and scan, you just wont have HP software to scan from. Scanning to the computer from the printer control panel is only available when using HP Scan software, thus it will not work because there is no HP scan software as apart of the Apple Software Update driver.
    Instead, you can scan using,
    Method one: Scan from the Print & Scan window
    Method two: Scan from Apple Preview
    Method three: Scan from Apple Image Capture
    I hope this helps. If you have any additional questions are have any difficulty using any of these methods, please let me know what method you are trying and what the issue/error is.
