Net book operations

I am trying to use adobe photoshop elements 7 on a netbook. great for travel, but the edit workspace is too big for the
operating window. How do you resize the workspace to fit the netbook screen? i.e. resize to 75%??

This is not possible.  Screen resolution is part of the system requirements for the application.  In the case of Photoshop Elements 7 we require a resolution of 1024 x 768.  http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-photoshop-elements.h tml

  • Posting Unplanned Depreciation when asset net book value is zero

We recently transferred some assets from one company code to another.  However, when they transferred, the depreciation all reversed out YTD.
We are now trying to post the YTD depreciation back in under the original company code, but when we try posting unplanned depreciation, the following error message appears -
"In area 01, you can only post manual dep. up to the amount 0.00"
I believe this is because the asset does not have any net book value now.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
    Many thanks,

    Hi Susan,
do you have the option to reverse the transfer postings? If so, you could specify another period control for transfer postings (such as fiscal year start, etc.) in your depreciation key, with which you can influence how much depreciation is left back respectively transferred.
It is correct that you can´t post an unplanned depreciation on the sending asset now, because the net book value would go below zero. As unplanned depreciation does not influence the ordinary depreciation in the year of posting, this value below zero can not be adjusted with a reduction of planned ordinary depreciation.
I am wondering which effect you´d like to have on the sending asset. Did you post a complete retirement? If so, there should be no APC left which you can depreciate on the sending asset. And as the net book value is zero already, which effect do you want to get? You have to keep in mind that the non-depreciated APC will be continued to depreciate (normally) on the receiving asset. But maybe I misunderstood the problem here ...

  • Calculation of Depreciation on Net Book Value after posting Revaluation on

How to calculate the depreciation on Net book value after posting Balance sheet revaluation ABAW? The depreciation is been calculated on APC and not on NBV, as the APC of asset has been revalued after the revalution posting, ideally the next period depreciation should be calculating on the new NBV, but the system is not doing this. Is there any specific configuration that Iam missing here.
    Kindly Reply.

  • "Asset will not be deactivated, it has a net book valueu201D after Revaluation

    Hello All,
I am looking for some assistance on an issue that I am having with trying to retire an asset using transaction ABAVN.  The message that we are receiving is u201CAsset 10 ###########-0 will not be deactivated, it has a net book valueu201D.  This was working correctly until we did a whole Company asset revaluation.
Now, for our revaluation, we created Depreciation Area 99 which is where we are housing the asset values prior to the revaluation (history).  We also created a new Depreciation key as per the SAP document u201COne-Time Revaluation Measureu201D.
From what I can tell, the error is coming from Depreciation area 99 which is what we want to leave alone.  We want the retirement to leave the History alone.
I am new to this area, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
We are on ECC 604 Level 24
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
is the message right (asset will not be deactivated, it has a net book value?
It is not possible to deactivate a asset with net book value.

  • Problem with depreciation posting for an asset with a '0' net book value.

    Hi,
I have a problem with depreciation posting on one asset. I think it should not be calculated and posted at all.
On 1st November 2010 (our Fiscal year starts on 1st November) there was acquisition posted to an asset and then it was reversed on the same day - so the net book value was '0'.
In AFAB depreciation run for April 2011 - it posted depreciatoion of 0.01 Euro, so now the book value is -0.01.
Do you know how this could have happened and what can I do to get the value of this asset back to 0?
    Thank you,
    Karol

    Hi Murlidhar,
    Thank you for your reply.
I just have one doubt - as depreciation of 0.01 Eur was posted in previous period leaving net value of asset equal to -0.01 Eur.
Shouldn't I get ritd of this asset value before I proceed with the steps you suggested?
I think it is not possible to reverse the depreciation - so I struggle to find a way to bring asset value back to zero.
    Thank you,
    Karol

  • Which table contains net book value for Assets created with AS91.

Which table contains net book value for Assets created with AS91.
I have a problem locating where the net book value is stored in SAP.  Is it simply calculated and not stored in any one place?  I am trying to predict how SAP will calculate the net book value for some assets we plan on converting, but my formula doesn't always work consistently and I have not idea what is going on.  If it is stored in a table some place, can anyone please let me know!
    Thank you all

    Hi anar.samadzade & Michael Stewart
It is not possible to directly get net book value of an any Table. You must migrate the gross book value (acquisition cost) and the accumulated depreciation. SAP will then calculate the NBV.
Gross Block & Accumulate Dep you will get from Table: ANLC

  • Recently purchased Nano Shuffle. Downloaded ITunes to my net book. I want to transfer purchased songs on my IPad to Nano Shuffle.

When I attempt to authorize my net book, the message says network timed out, try later. This has been consistently happening over last day.
Is there a way to transfer music on my IPad to Nano Shuffle?

The only way is to download the content to your itunes library on your netbook.
Have you tried signing out of account in itunes and restarting the netbook then signing back in?

  • Written Down Value Or Net Book Value

    Dear Friends:
The Written Down Value Or Net Book Value given by the client is different in the year 2006 and also different in 2005.Both the years have different amounts.
Also Depreciation as on current date is different and Accumlated depreciation is different which based on last year.
How should i upload this values to T.Code AS91?Please advise.
    Regards
    MSReddy

    hi,
    you've 2 alternatives - ask your consultant:
    1) upload (NBV) net book value and remaining time
    2) upload accumulated APC and accumulated depr. and Planned useful life
-> SAP corrects false depr. with 1st depr.run

  • Assets: Net book value 1

    Hi experts,
I got the issue that an asset shouldn't be depreciated totally (0) but the net book value of the assets should remain 1 u20AC.
So in the asset explorer the assets has value 1 u20AC, although the depreciation is finished.
Does somebody know, where I can set it in IMG.
    Many thanks and best regards,

    Hi
    Please set the value in

  • Net Book Not Responding

I have a Net Book NB 255-N250. I've had it for a little more than a year now and it has always preformed well. But in the last few months whenever I start a program, Internet explorer for example, The window will pop up and it will say Not Responding at the top. After say fifteen to thirty seconds the program will load and run normally. I defragment my computer about once a month and I have Trend Micro running on my computer which tells me there are no viruses. So what is going on here? Do I need to upgrade my memory or is there something else going on with my computer? My memory is 1G right now, looks like I could upgrade to 2G.

Ok, Computer finally started acting up again last night. I did the troubleshooting and as far as I can tell its Trend Micro that is causing the issue. The service is called Trend Micro Solution Platform. It  must have been an update they did that caused the problem because when it was first installed it didn’t affect my computer like that. But just to be sure Trend Micro is actually the problem here I’m going to run the computer for a week with it disabled to see if the Not Responding thing comes up again.
But now I have a new issue. I must have messed this up while I was messing around in the settings- When you hold the Function Key and press F4 for example, a thing is supposed to pop up on the screen and let you put the computer into hibernation mode. Nothing pops up anymore. Some of the functions still work (Mute, Sleep, Brightness adjustment, F10 and F11 whatever they are for) but that pop up wont come on the screen. The rest won’t work at all. How do I fix this? I use F2, F4, and F8 all the time and now they won’t do anything.
