I face same problem,,
the reason behind it is the user and password for the connection should not be blank...
and I resolve it in this way
1. Go to Source Packages > META-INF
2. Open persistence.xml as plain xml
3. Change the value of the following properties to any thing except blank one of them should be blank thus you got the exception
<property name="toplink.jdbc.user" value="app"/>
<property name="toplink.jdbc.password" value="app"/>
4. Run and have a fun!

Unable to Bind back request.status for leave request. Please help me anyone
Dear all workflow expert,
I am in trying to customize the the standard leave request WF 12300111 to a 2 level approval and therefore i copy this wf out to customize it. I created one of the step to change the Req.status container back to the status "SENT" so that the second approval can approve it.
What i do was i bind the Req.status to a container i created in a task (cus_req_sta) and the task is tie to my customize BOR object. Then i bind this cus_req_sta to my method parameter in the BOR object and i have the follwing code in my bor method.
BEGIN_METHOD ZLEVREQ CHANGING CONTAINER.
DATA:
LEAVESTA TYPE PTREQ_HEADER-STATUS.
V_LEAVESTA TYPE PTREQ_HEADER-STATUS.
SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'cus_req_sta' V_LEAVESTA
V_LEAVESTA = 'SENT'.
SWC_SET_ELEMENT CONTAINER 'cus_req_sta' V_LEAVESTA
END_METHOD.
After i change the value in the method, i bind it back from the method to my task and then from task to the workflow. Everything is fine untill the step to pass the value (sent) from task to workflow. It seems that it does not allow me to pass back the value to Req.status container in the workflow. The Req.status does not updated at all.
The req.status parameter setting is set to import and export when i browse it in the main screen (before entering to the workflow builder). However when i am doing the binding for task back to the workflow (after i drag and drop the req.status and double click on it), it shows the check box for import and export parameter settings is not check.
Anyone have idea? Please help me.....Points will be rewards.....Thanks
Regards,
BryanI think you cannot change REQ.STATUS. It seems that it is an attribute and cannot be changed. An attribute is the property of the business Object instance which depends on the key field and the coding made for the attribute.
Thanks

Struts Application: Binding TextArea to Checkbox. Please Help!!!
Hi
I am working on a Struts Application, where I have to do the following function
There is a JSP Page which i have created. The JSP page has these elements. It is basically a page with which a user can specify what problem he/she has and can use the checkbox to check off the problem. The user also has a textarea, using which he/she can write their own version of the problem and submit the page. The page contains many textareas and checkboxes. I am using Struts and was reading about the Multibox usage in Struts. Can you please tell me how I can apply it in this area to bind a particular checkbox to a textarea.
Here is some of the JSP Code
<form name="re1ActionItems" method="post" action="req1ActionRegEntry.do">
<table width="907" height="667" border="1">
<tr>
<th width="578" scope="col">Nature of the Problem </th>
<th width="432" scope="col">Check</th>
</tr>
<tr>
<td height="53">There is no Firewall Configuration Standard OR There is an improperly drafted Firewall Configuration Standard </td>
<td><textarea name="fwConfig" cols="30" rows="4"><bean:message key="ate.fwConfig"/></textarea>
<input name="noFwConfig" type="checkbox" value="yes"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>There is no DMZ which has been established for housing Public Facing Servers </td>
<td><textarea name="noDmzTxt" cols="30" rows="4"><bean:message key="ate.noDmz"/></textarea>
<input name="noDmz" type="checkbox" value="yes"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Firewall rules contains Any-Any rules, or there are no IP and Port Specific Rules which have been configured on the Firewall(s)</td>
<td><textarea name="anyAnyFwTxt" cols="30" rows="4"><bean:message key="ate.anyAnyFw"/></textarea>
<input name="anyAnyFw" type="checkbox" value="yes"></td>Can you please help me out with this issue.
P.S. I would not like to use Client Side Scripting to sort out this problem, please try and give me something which I can use Server side.I presume your form is being stored in session scope?
It is for this purpose that struts has a "reset()" method.
Have the reset method set the boolean to false every time.
It will be set to true if the checkbox is checked, otherwise it will be left as false. -

Thank you so much for your help!!!
We need a procedure/function to take the inputs as query conditions, execute the query, store the result in refer cursor and pass it into Client Application.
With the help on this Forum, I have done following test. Only one thing that I have not figure out is the variable-list. As you know the line 15 in my procedure will not give the correct result. However, I am not able to concatenate the bind variable in the string.
Please help, thanks again.

You might want to take a look at the docs: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10500_01/server.920/a96533/statspac.htm#21708
Note:
It is not correct to specify begin and end snapshots where the begin snapshot and end snapshot were taken from different instance startups. In other words, the instance must not have been shutdown between the times that the begin and end snapshots were taken.
At the first part of the report the database id is given. Do a select * from STATS$DATABASE_INSTANCE and verify that the DBID present matches the database/instance you are attempting to run the reprot upon. The report should be ran from the same instance in which the snapshots were taken. -
Cannot log into AD on Mountain Lion. Please help! I got the logs
My company has been experiencing this problem ever since Mountain Lion released.
The problem is, we cannot log into AD on all of our MAC who currently runs Mountain Lion. We, however, can log into AD fine with Lion and Snow Leopard just fine. We only use AD, we don't use Open Directory or have any Apple server.
I have gather some logs using the SSH. Please help me view the logs and let me know what's going on if possible.
Here are the steps that I performed before capture these logs.
I format the hard drive and installed a new OS X 10.8.2 on the hard drive using the Recovery Mode (Hold down option Key while boot).
I created a new computer name call ittest-mac3 in AD and assigned to proper OU. I changed the computer name under System Preferences ==> Sharing to "ittest-mac3".
3. I bind this Macbook Pro to our Active Directory via xyz.com. The bind was successful. I enabled "Create mobile account at login", "Required confirmation before creating a mobile account", " Force local home directory on start up disk", " Use UNC path from active directory to derive network home location", "Default user shell: /bin/bash/. Network protocol to be used: smb:
After I reboot the Mac client, I was unable to log into it using our regular AD user account (consider all of our employees has regular account).
I created 2 test accounts for Mac on Active Directory, they are "mac test" and "mac test 2".
With "mac test" account, I configured everything the same as our regular account in AD. Which I was not able to log into the Mac client using this account.
With “mac test 2” account, I configured everything the same as our regular account in AD EXCEPT for UNIX Attributes. I was successfully logged into the Mac client using this user account.
So the problem is ... set the Unix Attributes for NIS domain on the AD account prevent everyone of us in our company to log into AD on any client that have Mountain Lion OSX installed.
Here are the logs:
Log1. This logs showed successful when log into AD on a Mountain Lion OSX using an AD account that don't have UNIX attributes setting configure.

We only have 1 single domain, 1 domain forest, no subdomains, only alias. I had replied to the other post as well. But I am happy to paste it here in case anyone want to read it.
So, after a few months of testing, capture and sending logs back and forth to Apple Engineers, we found out there is a setting in AD, under User Account that prevent us to log into AD from Mountain Lion. If you would go to your AD server, open up a user account properties, then go to Account tab, the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" option is checked. As soon as I uncheck that option, immediately I was able to log into AD on the Mac client. Apple engineers copied all my AD settings and setup a test environment on their end and match exact mine AD environment. They was able to reproduce this issue.
The bad part about this is... our environment required the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" is checked in AD, in order for our users to login into some of our Unix and Linux services. Which mean that it is impossible for us to remove that check mark because most, if not all of them some way or another require to login into applications that run on Unix and Linux. Apple is working to see if they can come up with a fix. Apparently, no one has report this issue except us. I believe most of you out there don't have that check mark checked in your environment... Anyone out there have any suggestion to by pass or have a work around for this? -
Please help with SIP configuration on 2801 router
Hi All.
Please help me to setup a SIP account. I’m already struggling to do that for a few days, and can’t find out how to finish that. We have 2xISDN lines running, so I need to add a SIP trunk to existing config.
The information from our SIP provider:
We have issued the following DDI range: 018877000 – 99
There is no need to register the DDI’s as these will be offered to your PABX IP address provided to in the completed SIP trunking form.
Configuration details are as follows:
Our Primary Proxy:- 99.234.56.78
Codec supported:- G711Alaw, G729 (G711Alaw is the preferred codec)
Fax Support:- T38 and G711Alaw
DTMF:- RFC2833 and INFO
CLI Method:- Remote-Party-ID
Trunk doesn’t require registration; you just need to send Invite. In cisco this is done through Dial-peer session-target command. We are authenticating your IP address for outgoing calls and incoming calls we then forward to the IP mentioned in the sip form.
This is a SIP configuration on Cisco2801 router (I used outgoing calls only):

I made some changes in the router configuration.
I removed FA0/0.2 Voice interface from Voice service voip configuration (bind control source-interface FastEthernet0/0.2 and bind media source-interface FastEthernet0/0.2). And now it’s using ip address 10.1.1.101 (data ip).
The debugging is changed now. I can send and receive a respond from SIP server. But It shows an error: SIP/2.0 404 Not Found
Then it moves to ISDN line, and use this line to make a call.

Then I removed SIP-UA as I was told there is no registration necessary, only Dial-peer configuration.
But it didn’t affect anything.
Then I add translate-outgoing called 10 command to dial-peer 9000, nothing happened.
Really stuck and don't know where to look at.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.Hi Dan.
Yes, I saw that RTP debugging, but what can I change there? Maybe I need to open more ports on ASA for RTP like 19412?
I use Cisco ASDM for ASA to make changes.
There are static NAT rules for: Server source IPs(10.1.1.100) to Outside(translated IPs, 88.99.77.44) for a few ports.
Also I added Security policy access rules for LAN: Any to SIP, and Outside: SIP to any.
For NAT:
I can't add this: for LAN: STATIC ROUTER IP 10.1.1.101 (AS SOURCE) UDP 5060 TO OUTSIDE IP 88.99.77.44
(AS TRANSLATED) UDP 5060
Because there is already translation for the Server.
Debugging looks like that now. There is no Received: SIP/2.0, but I can make an outside call with no audio.

Please help: Application doesn't work after upgrade to Workshop 8 sp2 from sp1
Hi,
Our application worked on workshop 8 sp1. After we upgrade system from sp1 to
sp2, some of the part doesn't work propertly any more.
1. netui:select seems not bind form data propertly. For drop down list box in
forms, although user has chosen something from the drop down list box, the returned
value in the form is always null.
2. we use Java script window.open(url,...) to download and view files. After upgrade
from sp1 to sp2, clients keep getting IE error complaining that "Internet Explore
can not open this Internet site. The request site is either unavailable or can
not be found. Please try again later", although the server and the files are all
in local host server.
Please help. ThanksDid you update your workshop application files and recompile your application?
A few things changed between GA and sp2, some annotations were renamed, and some
were added.
If you open up your application in Workshop sp2, it should given you the option
to upgrade your application.
Failing that, you may need to go through the code that is not performing as it
was before and check whether it was not utilising a bug that was fixed in sp2
and thus causes it to not function correctly now.

Please help me for Parameters of the reports in client server mode
Dear reader,
I have a problem,
suppose there is a hierarchy of listings in reports e.g.
countries, states, provinces, districts.
in the parameter if i want to list the districts of the selected
provinces, provinces of the selected states, states of the
selected countries,
then how the code for the parameter must be written. this i am
unable to do as the parameter's select statement does not accept
a bind variable as the WHERE condition.
please help me in integrating the 4 parameters.
thanks in advances. please reply as soon as possible.
thanks & regards.
Bhakti.Dear ileana,
I have tried the the option you have suggested and i was
successful.
Now there is another problem. As i had described the problem, i
have 4 parameters to use in hierarchy. but if i leave any of
them as NULL the report goes bust. i have defined REF cursors
for each of the parameter but cannot use it simultaneously as a
group error occurs.
could you help me out with this too.
thanks in advance.
bye

Hi...
I am getting an Error when i try to generate a Web-Service Proxy on JDeveloper for one of the Oracle WorkFlow Services viz., the[b] "TaskService"
ie.,
http://host:port/integration/services/TaskService/TaskServicePort?wsdl
The wizard exits with a fatal warning ( WS-30033 -- which i believe indicates Validation of the WSDL failed..!?!) saying
"uniqueness constraint violation : exception (taskProxy.proxy.faultType already exists)
Could Anyone please Help me w.r.t this..?!?
My requirement is to provide a UI for accessing Human WorkFlow Services...other than JSP...So, i am planning to create a Web-Service PROXY for the important Workflow Services like TaskQueryService, TaskService, etc...& then use the "jars" of these clients to invoke the Web-Services...!
Is there ANY Simpler method of doing this..?!?
I've seen the Code of the UserSampleUI application, but i can't get a similar code working in my Eclipse...don't know Which JARS are required...?!
[i tried bpm-services.jar, & others...but it gives me a run-time exception of type PC Exception...!! :(]
If so, please Do let me know ASAP...!!
[By the way, ALL this is w.r.t. the [b]10.1.3.1.0 version of[b] Oracle SOA Suite...]
Awaiting some response....
Thanks a lot in advance..!Hi Calvin,
You may want to try the 'no data binding' option on the proxy generation. This may enable you to go ahead, with a proxy that is not trying to generate Java code.
Yo can also try to make a local copy of your WSDL and remove the duplicate type declaration. Using the analyze command from WSA CLI is a quick way to do this itterative testing, as it will not generate the code. Once you have the analyze command going thourg the WSDL, you can go back to using genProxy.
You can find the documnetation here:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32110_01/web.1013/b28974/wsassemble.htm#CHDBBDBF
Hope it helps,

ALV not showing all the rows! Please help!
Hi Experts,
I have webdynpro ALV report and I am using SALV_WD_TABLE as the reusable component. In component controller's WDDOINIT I have written the code for pulling teh data from R/3 table and binding it to ALV table.
In the view's WDDOMODIFYVIEW event I have written the following code to get subtotal and grand total of Qty column based on product column.
I have coded like this:
lr_field_settings ?= l_value.
lr_field = lr_field_settings->get_field( 'PRODUCT' ).
lr_field->if_salv_wd_sort~set_group_aggregation_allowed( ABAP_TRUE ).
lr_field->if_salv_wd_sort~create_sort_rule( ).
l_sortrule = lr_field->if_salv_wd_sort~GET_SORT_RULE( ).
l_sortrule->set_sort_order( if_salv_wd_c_sort=>sort_order_ascending ).
l_sortrule->set_group_aggregation( ABAP_TRUE ).
*...Aggregate Field PRODUCT
lr_field = lr_field_settings->get_field( 'QTY' ).
lr_field->if_salv_wd_aggr~create_aggr_rule( ).
lr_aggr_rule = lr_field->if_salv_wd_aggr~get_aggr_rule( ).
lr_aggr_rule->set_aggregation_type( if_salv_wd_c_aggregation=>aggrtype_total ).
It is working now but my ALV table is not showing all the rows. I have 6 products and it is showing from product 2. But it is calculating grand total and subtotal correctly. I am not able to see the first product row and subtotal for that. Even if I click on the ^ icon in the ALV table below it is not showing all the rows.
What could be the problem?
Please help
Thanks
Gopaldid you somehow manage to set the "first visible row" property on table object
to 2. Only thing I can think of that could cause this effect.
Cheers

I need to pass a query in form of string to DBMS_XMLQUERY.GETXML package...the parameters to the query are date and varchar ..please help me build the string .Below is the query and the out put. ( the string is building fine except the parameters are with out quotes)
here is the procedure
create or replace
procedure temp(
P_MTR_ID VARCHAR2,
P_FROM_DATE IN DATE ,
P_THROUGH_DATE IN DATE ) AS
L_XML CLOB;
l_query VARCHAR2(2000);

INSERT INTO NK VALUES (L_XML);

OUTPUT parameters are in bold (the issue is they are coming without single quotes otherwise th equery is fine

) B
where a.S_DATETIME = B.S_DATETIME(+)The correct way to handle this is to use bind variables.
And use DBMS_XMLGEN instead of DBMS_XMLQUERY :
create or replace procedure temp (
p_mtr_id in varchar2

is
l_xml CLOB;
l_query VARCHAR2(2000);
