Netflix Connectivity- HELP please

Hi,
I set up Netflix a couple of months ago when I bought my Samsung TV, and the connectivity was great on my TV. However, up until a few days ago, I tried loading Netflix and the message appears that titles are being retrieved, but nothing else happens. It just appears that Netflix is loading, but that's as far as it goes. I also don't know how to reset my username and password for Netflix on my TV- thought maybe this would help.
Has anyone else come across this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? Do you know if this is a problem with Netflix or with the account set-up on the TV?

And if all of the above fails, unplug the TV for about one minute, then plug it back in and try again. The Smart Hub never fully exists so long as there is power to the TV, so by removing all power it forces it to restart.

    Yes, they should be able to verify that WiFi is working properly. If I just got a new phone & it didn't work perfectly, right out of the box, before I started restoring or whatever, I'd be right back where I got the phone.

  • No internet connection(help please)

    I have the model---> Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router
    As I connect the ISPs dsl cable to router the internet light doesn't turn on! Also the phone became "dead"! when i put out the ISPs dsl cable the phone is well again!
    The problem isn't the phone but why the router does not connect to the internet!

    Please state the make and model of your modem.
    I have tried to access web data on your OTE system.  Since I don't speak Greek, I have only been able to find some basic information.  Do you know what kind of "Internet Connection Type" you have from OTE?  Common types include:  Automatic Configuration - DHCP, PPPoE, Static IP, PPTP, L2TP.  Also, do you know if OTE requires a "Host name" or "Domain name"?
    Since you have already tried to setup the router a few times, you should reset the router to factory defaults, before trying to get it to work.   Please use the following procedure:
    1)  Power down all computers, the router, and the modem, and unplug them from the wall.
    2)  Disconnect all wires from the router.
    3)  Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
    4)  Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release it, then let the router reset and reboot (2-3 minutes).
    5)  Power down the router.
    6)  Connect one computer by wire to port 1 on the router (NOT to the internet port).
    7)  Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
    8)  Power up the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it is off).
    9)  Try to ping the router.  To do this, click the "Start" button > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.  A black DOS box will appear.  Enter the following:  "ping 192.168.1.1"  (no quotes), and hit the Enter key.  You will see 3 or 4 lines that start either with "Reply from ... " or "Request timed out."   If you see "Reply from ...", your computer has found your router.
    10)  Open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1.  This will take you to your router's login page.  Leave the user name blank, and in the password field, enter "admin"  (with no quotes).   This will take you to your router setup page.  Note the version number of your firmware (usually listed near upper right corner of screen).  Exit your browser.
    If you get this far without problems, I would suggest that you simply try using the router the way it is, at its factory defaults.  To do this, power down the entire system and unplug all devices from the wall.  Connect an ethernet cable from your modem to the "Internet" port on your WRT54GL.  Power up the modem and allow it to fully boot (1-5 minutes).  Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).  Power up your computer.  Test your system.  Can you get an Internet connection?  If not, power cycle the entire system, then try to get an Internet connection again.
    If it still fails, then power down your system, and disconnect the modem from the router.  Be sure the modem is disconnected from the router before you proceed. Then try the Easylink Advisor (or setup the router manually, if you prefer), and see if you can get your router setup and working.
    If you cannot get "Reply from ..." in step 9 above, your router is dead.
    If you get a reply in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, then either your router is dead or the firmware is corrupt.  In this case, use the Linksys tftp.exe program to try to reload your router with the latest firmware.  After reloading the firmware, repeat the above procedure starting with step 1.
    If you need additional help, please state the results of steps 9 and 10.  Also, if you get any error messages, copy them exactly and report back.

  • Deskjet 3070A on line and connected by PC says unable to print, as not connected - help please

    I am on a laptop using Windows 7. I recently moved the printer to a different location. I have tried to print but to no avail. I have re-installed the CD and re-configured the wireless, restarted both printer and PC but no matter what, when I try to print, my PC comes up with the printer is offline error and will not print.
    Can anyone help please?

    Go to Control Panel > Printers and delete all old instances of the printer.
    1. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by browsing to its IP address before continuing. Get its IP from a Network Test printed from the front panel of the printer.
    2. Click >> Start >> Control panel >> Printers.
    3. Click the Add a printer
    4. Select Local printer
    5. Select Create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port and click Next button.
    6. Under Device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under Hostname or IP address, enter the printer's IP address. Click Next.
    7. Select Hewlett-Packard from the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
    If your printer model was not listed, then select Have Disk, browse the HP CD that came with your printer and select the first file that starts with hp and ends with inf. Click Open then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If you are asked, use the currently installed driver.
    9. It will ask for the Printer name -- enter a new name or use the existing one. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
    10. You may be asked to share the printer. Choose NO.
    11. The Print Test Page box appears. Go ahead and print it.
    12. Click Finish.

  • Server 2012 R2 Hyper-v two node cluster network connections help please

    I am trying to do a hyper-v failover clustering project and we have following hardwares:
    2x HP DL 380 G8 with 8 LAN ports
    1x HP MSA 2000 with dual controller (each controller has 2 iSCSI LAN ports)
    2x 24 port gig switch (HP Procurve)
    I don’t know whether this is a best practice but I would like to setup separate network for live migration, iSCSI, heartbeat & data/management. So far I have installed Server 2012 R2 datacenter on both servers.
    MSA Controller A port 1 is connected to Switch 1 – Vlan 1
    MSA Controller A port 2 is connected to Switch 2 – Vlan 2
    MSA Controller B port 1 is connected to Switch 1 – Vlan 1
    MSA Controller B port 2 is connected to Switch 2 – Vlan 2
    For each server is this how network connection should be? Ports will be teamed.
    2 ports for iSCSI – vlan 3
    2 ports for Live Migration – vlan 4
    2 ports for Heartbeat – vlan 5
    2 ports for Management/VM – vlan 6
    Please advise if there is other better options.

  • Connection help please with my home wifi

    Hello
    Really loving this phone (8520) and a massive leap from my last phone.
    Having trouble with connecting to my or my works wifi. It registers both routers and displays the name across at the top of the phone and in wifi settings I have a black square with a white dash line and a green wifi symbol.
    I have a Asda pay as you go sim which is fine for the calls text etc but I hearing not so good for the Internet.
    I have managed to get the browser going with the Hotspot setting but I'm guessing this isn't using my home wifi as it as slow as a snail and keeps cutting out.
    Without Hotspot enabled it tries to use VodaphoneLive and  I get the message
    "unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider"
    Is it possible to get another browser to use.
    I would be most grateful for your help.

  • Computuer-to-Computer connection help please!

    I just bought an airport extreme card for my eMac today in hopes of connecting my brother's Powerbook to it which is also built with airport. I set up the computer to computer network, following all of the instructions (at least I hope I did) by enabling Personal Web Sharing, Airport/Ethernet internet sharing, and pretty much going by the instructions. Unfortunately, while the powerbook is getting the option for connecting to my computer, its not getting anything internet at all. Please help!

    Disable the computer-to-computer network.
    I am guessing that your eMac is connected to the Internet via Ethernet. If that is so, on the eMac open the Sharing preference pane and enable Internet sharing Ethernet to AirPort.
    Then configure the PowerBook to use AirPort and DHCP to get an IP address.
    If the PowerBook has problems getting to the Internet, on the eMac enable Personal Web Sharing to open the correct ports.

  • Object Data Source and oracle connections.-Help please!!

    I have a detailsview with objectdatasource as a Data source.
    Every time, i Edit and save a row in the detailsview, upto 10 connections are created to Oracle. And because of this maximum no of connections is reached quickly.
    I am closing/disposing the connection object in the update method.
    What could be causing this behaviour?

    That helpes quite a bit. I still can't get the app to retrieve data, but I am getting a more useful message in the log:
    [Error in allocating a connection. Cause: Connection could not be allocated because: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied]
    As you suggested, I removed the <default-resource-principal> stuff from sun-web.xml and modified it to match your example. Additionally, I changed the <res-ref-name> in web.xml from "jdbc/jdbc-simple" to "jdbc/oracle-dev".
    The Connection Pool "Ping" from the Admin Console is successful with the user and password I have set in the parameters. (it fails if I change them, so I am pretty sure that is set up correctly) Is there another place I should check for user/pass information? Do I need to do anything to the samples/database.properties file?
    By the way, this is the 4th quarter 2004 release of app server. Would it be beneficial to move to the Q1 2005 beta?

  • Mac mini Leopard  connects to Apple extreme BUT XP WONT CONNECT HELP PLEASE

    *I have a new mac mini intel 1.83 ghz Core 2 Duo I used bootcamp to partition Windows XP pro SP2*
    *I was initially easily able to connect to my wireless Apple extreme in either Leopord 10.5.4 or Windows XP.*
    *I then installed all the new (100) security updates for SP2 and now Windows XP sees my airport extreme but for some reason can't connect. I set up the Wizard using a manual network key and using the same password for my network connection. When I startup in Leopard 10.5.4 no problems always connected to Airport extreme. But no connection on Windows XP to wirelessx Apple extreme.*
    *I wonder if anyone has a solution, maybe a detailed explanation how to set up with the Windows XP network wizard?*
    *Does the Apple AirPort Utility Setup 5.3.2 for windows help in any way?*

    I have no idea what happened. I plugged in my USB flash drive in an attempt
    to run the Apple Airport utility for windows to see if that would get me connected, but just as I plugged in the USB drive my wireless connection flashed and said CONNECTED and I've been good for the past 12 hours. I never had to use the Apple Airport utility.
    I just wish I knew what happened in case I lose this connection and have to try & reconnect....I guess I could always try inserting a usb drive!

  • Connectivity help please..

    Hi, I've been given a secondhand Palm Vx, I've connected to my laptop though I'm not able to sync with the laptop. It may be a software/driver issue. The palm hand held shows in device manager though carries the error:
    "This device cannot start. (Code 10)
    Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."
    Can anybody help with software or driver versions that I might require to connect and where I can download them from. OS is XP pro and handheld is a Palm Vx and they are connected via serial/cradle to serial to usb adaptor (drivers installed) on com13.
    Appreciate any help you can give.

    Have you installed Palm desktop? You need this in order to sync the device. Did you get the CD for the device too?

  • WRT54GL - just today it won't keep wired/wireless connections HELP Please

    This router is less that a year old and just today it won't keep wired/wireless connections unless I reset the router and sometimes within 5 mins of a reset, it's out again.  I can go into the Admin/Status page of the router and DCHP release/renew the IP from Cox and that works the same as a reset of the modem.
    Can anyone give me an idea what this could be?  Cox looked at the Motorola modem and saw that it was connected for 3 hrs (3 hrs prior I rebooted the modem thinking that was my issue) and they didn't see anything out of the ordinary. 
    I have the latest firmware installed.

    Are you using any peer-to-peer (P2P) software?  If so, this is a known cause for router slow downs and disconnections.  Go into the P2P software, and reduce the number of connections that the software can make.

    @puebloryan, I realize this thread is a bit old, but I have encountered a similr problem and wondered if you had found a solution. I've been using home sharing from itines on my PCs for years, but two days ago, it suddenly stopped. I can share from my Macs, but not from the ONE PC library where I keep all my tunes. I tried all the usual trouble-shooting measures.
    After turning home sharing off on the PC's iTunes, turning it back on and turning some other settings off and on, my Macs and Apple TV could briefly "see" the PC library, but as soon as I try to connect -- the wheel spins for a bit and then the connection vanishes. It's as if they try and then give up.
    Since this sounds so similar to your problem, I was hoping you finally found a solution. I am also starting a new thread. Thanks!

    I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
    Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
    Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
    Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
    Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
    Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
    It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
    Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
    Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
    Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
    Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.
