Network Error / Connection Interrupted

Hello,
Over the past few months our 3rd party supplied oracle forms application (which runs on Oracle 9, and which we access over the web using Jinitiator 1.1.8.16) has been throwing up network errors such as:
FRM-92100: Your connection to the server was interrupted. This may be the result of a network error, or a failure on the server.
and
FRM-92102: A network error has occured. The Forms Client has attempted to reestablish it's connection to the server 1 time(s) without success.
These cause the application to crash, and users must close down the application window and restart. These errors seemed to come on all of the sudden, although no changes/upgrades have been performed for over a year on the application or server. The errors occur randomly, no specific action or set of actions causes it, and it occurs both during periods of high activity and of no activity.
Interestingly, it does not kick everyone out at once, one user might be kicked out 6 times a day, and another once or not at all, and then it might be vice versa the next day.
Does anyone have any ideas of the cause of this? Google suggests all kinds of fixes for these errors, although none appear to relate to our situation. Any suggestions (no matter how daft!) of things to try are greatly appreciated.

check the Protocol from which you're trying to connect to. Try using SSH Protocol.(most of the fire wall rule allows this)

Try to ping the Host from your system whether you are able to connect from OS level or not.

Local network error: Connection Failed.

I get the following error message when trying to access any of the computers on our local netwrok:
Connection failed.
The server may not exist or itnot operational at
this time. Cjecl tje server name or IP address and
your network connection and try again.
The computers on the network show up in the Finder under Shared, but when I choose one of the icons, it shows up as Connection Failed - and nothing happens when clicking Connect As.

Have you tried manually connecting to a shared Mac by its IP address?
from the finder press command +K then enter the IP address of the mac you are trying to connect to.
this would rule out an issue with ipv4 networking.
then using the same method use the macs bonjour name. This is the computer name specified in that servers sharing preferences followed by .local
eg.
imac.local
This would find out if the issue is with bonjour networking.
Also in an earlier thread a mac could not connect to any shared computers and this was resolved by the procedure shown in Mac OS X 10.5: "The text entered does not appear to be a recognized URL format" alert when connecting to server or Time Machine

Network server connection interrupted

For the past couple of weeks I keep getting a mesage that the connection to a server that I have connected to my Airport Extreme has been interrupted I don't notice much of anythinhg happening as a result. I am connected to the Airport with a wire from this computer. Anyone else seen this. OS is Snowleopard

I had a long discussion with an Apple tech rep earlier today. He insisted that this issue is related to interference despite my comments about how TC was working OK for about 1 year before recently knocking me off line on a regular basis.
After reviewing the list of networks in my area, I must admit that I noticed quite a few new wireless network players. The Apple rep directed me to a site where I downloaded a widget that you can place on your dashboard that shows all the neighboring networks and their frequency channels. Low and behold all of us were on channel 6 except for two who were on channels 1 and 10. We then changed my TC channel to channel 2. I implemented this about 6 or 7 hours ago and have not had a problem since then (knock on wood).
You can find the same version of the widget at http://www.macwireless.com/html/support/airport_radar/index.php After reviewing the channels your neighbors are on, I suggest you try switching to another channel via Airport Utility's Manual Setup/Wireless tab. Good luck!
I guess interference is a growing issue as we become more wireless with our societal applications. ...sounds like another opportunity for an aspiring inventor to conquer.

but, file in localhost and ip address of the server works well, that is url with ip address for the server works but the host name not works. The url's www.something.com and http://www.javacourses.com/hello.txt works fine.

Oracle Database 10g Express : Connection Interrupted

I am trying to connect to a database that I have installed on my computer, so it is a local connexion.
The database starts automatically (Windows services) and when I reach for the database page index :

I get the following error :
Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

Internal Network Error

Hi everyone,
We have a big issue with Coldfusion MX 7.0.2 on a Windows
2003 web edition SP1 with SQL and Access datasources. The server
randomly does not respond (this could occurs each day or each
week), all web pages using coldfusion says that an Internal network
has occured.
Here's the exception log:

This is repeated at each HTTP request.
When trying to restart the Coldfusion services it couldn't
stop, I need to kill wcsoc.exe (locking the tracing file of odbc
connections) then restart cfmx app server and odbc server. I didn't
see any hotfix covering this problem and on newsgroups/google some
people are talking this issue without answer.
If someone already experienced this problem please contribute
to this post. If the logs were more verbose it could be easier to
debug.

Switch your Access databases from the ODBC driver to the
Access for
Unicode driver. (Make sure you try that in your test
environment first.)

Scrabble app network error

For over a month the Scrabble app will not load - says Network Error connecting to Facebook but IS connected. Have deleted and reloaded app countless times, refreshed browser, reset iPad - no joy. Help!

You have given several clues...
What event preceded the issue? Update? Add App(s)? anything.
This is not an Apple issue - squarely the bailiwick of the developer
I'll take your word that you are able to use FaceBook normally, but the in App connection is likely different server(s)
This tells us:
Not necessarily the App
Not necessarily the browser
Not necessarily the iPad
That really leaves the Scrabble.app and/or its communication with its server

After upgrading support pack from PI7.1 EHP1 sp1 to sp8,we are experiencing problem with both ESR and ID timeout,
In 2mins the connection to server is terminated and we need to reconnect to it again with password
Error:
connection interrupted
connection to server lost
What parameters value needs to be changed apart from http_timeout increased to 100000 in sxmb_adm,and i did not timeout/keepalive paramter in configtool or NWA
what changes and where to be done

Connection Interrupted, Connection to server lost at ID

Hello Experts,
I have a crazy issue, as and when I logon to Integration Directory on my personal system, and try to create a Communication Channel under Business Service. It pops up the following error
Connection Interrupted
Connection to server lost
You can login once the server is available again
Do you want to log on again?
But when I login again it saysu2026
Reconnection to server was successful. Repeat the action.
And when I retry to create the Communication channel the same error reoccurs and continues in the same fashion,
Same case happens when I try to import a Business System to ID from SLD.

I guess this patch might help you in getting rid of the connection dropping error. Get in touch with your basis folk for implementing this patch.

Server connection interrupted error

i always get this error on my MacPro for my Time Machine device connected via ethernet and I am wondering if this solution looks like it is correct:
"I've finally found a solution to this problem. Go to the computer that keeps dropping the network. Upon up the Control Panel and click on Network. Click the Advanced button. Click on the Network Tab. Change Configure from Automatically to Manually. Select the correct settings - this will very depending upon your network and router. Save the settings. After I did this, I have not had the "Server Connection interrupted" error."

I'm having the same issue lately. It just started in the last few weeks. It doesn't seem to have any impact on what I'm doing line (pages loading, etc) so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm working on a wireless connection, but it doesn't seem as though that has anything to do with it based upon the previous 2 posts. I'd love to know how to make this pop up stop.

Error #0: An asset failed to load [url] on connection interruption

I have scoured the internet and find it shocking that no ones has brought this up. Sometimes, when you close your browser or migrate away from a flash swf that loading assets, this error is thrown. I track these errors in my swf application and currently it's impossible to tell weather that error is due to a missing file or whether or not it simply is someone nagivating away from the page. Can anyone from Adobe advise me on how best to handle this? Ideally I'd like to detect a connection interruption, and not throw the error in the first place. There isn't even anything in the Adobe documentation about Error #0.

I've been facing a similar problem. I've been trying to connect to this one website, which requires Adobe Flash Player. In the start, it says "Connecting to server..." and stays like that for a while. However, after about half a minute this message shows up: "Connection failed. Error #0"
I was wondering if you found a solution to the Error #0, since it's been long since you've posted this on here. Please help me, if possible.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I am trying to order a book with iphoto, I keep getting the same error message.

I get the billing part up, it has even uploaded my jpegs but at the final process, I get the same message.
I have ordered two books a few months ago without any problems.
Now I keep getting the same message either half way into
the order or at the final hurdle after the images have been uploaded.
Any ideas?
My shared Network has been fine and that does'nt seem an issue.
Help.
