New error after upgrading to September SSDT

I have upgraded to the newly release version of SSDT for VS2012. Before upgrading my solution built and published without any errors. After the upgrade I get multiple error "SQL71567: Microsoft.Data.Tools.Schema.Sql.SchemaModel.SqlFilegroup cannot be specified
on Microsoft.Data.Tools.Schema.Sql.SchemaModel.SqlTable when there is the clustered Microsoft.Data.Tools.Schema.Sql.SchemaModel.SqlPrimaryKeyConstraint on the table."
On all of these tables the ON [PRIMARY] filegroup specification is specified. This has been working for years, why has this become an error on the new release?

Hi Jeremy, this error is expected – we took a fix in this most recent release that blocks setting filegroup, filestream, partition scheme, and data compression options on both a table and a clustered index or non-inlined clustered constraint on that table,
because when options are specified on both, the options specified on the table are ignored by the engine. We plan to clean up the error message in a future release to make it easier to understand.
The implication is that there is a bug in the engine - that you cannot request that the index and table be placed on separate specified filegroups, and have it excuted correctly.
And that your solution to this bug is to display a badly written error message.
How about fixing the bug in the engine to run the SQL we have written as intended , and create the tables as the developer intended ?
The you don't need the stupid error and confusing error message.

    After waiting since October for a fix, I have now upgraded the firmware on the Time Capsule and installed the new Airport Utility, released yesterday, and the situation is even worse.
    Up until now, the Airport Utility had an option to disconnect all drives manually and the Time Capsule would then work until the next reboot – a temporary (?) work-around.
    Now that option does not exist in the new-look Airport Utility. And the Airport Utility installation can’t be rolled back and the old utility won’t restore.
    The sparesbundle is still not accessible. Anyone worked out a work-around in the new environment yet?
    I have another Time Machine backup working fine to a trusty old Lacie Drive so erased the one on my Time Capsule to see if that works. I have renamed the Capsule and the Time Capsule Drive.  But to build another full backup will take at least two days and I shall be away from tomorrow and am reluctant to leave the Capsule and computer up and running for a week. And I’ll bet the sparsbundle will still be nowhere to be found.
    How can Apple screw up so badly when they are to become the richest company in the entire world and – soon – will have more cash in the bank than the entire United States? Can’t they afford someone who really can sort this out? Especially when a Firewire connected hard drive – my trusty and simple LaCie – works fine.
    Words, almost, fail me.

    I'm having the same problem.  I got error message 21.  I went to apple store.  they are saying i have a hardware error.  Really, my phone was working before the update.  Asked me for $150 to get another one when I am due to get a new one and wanted to pass this one on to my child.

    I received an error after upgrade tp brand new imac.  Error was upgrade was not installed.  Upon reboot the version of SW in About thi Mac is 10.8.4.  Bug?

    I get the following error after upgrading my Flash Player
    (after my system prompted me to install it while running the Flash
    editor):
    Internet Explorer has blocked this site from using an ActiveX
    control in an unsafe manner.
    I have uninstalled and reinstalled the player from the
    browser, about 5 times now and it continues to be a problem for IE.
    Works ok in Firefox if I manually download the FF installer. Is
    there a standalone installer for Vista/IE7 or am I forced to use
    the ActiveX installer which seems to have issues?

    Fix: Removed both (!?more than one?!) versions of flash
    player in my Programs and Features dialog, then ran
    uninstall_flash_player.exe, reset IE7 to factory spec, then
    reinstalled Flash from ActiveX. Seems to be working now.

    Has anyone gotten this error after upgrading to mountain lion on a computer that already had a user setup on it?
    My iphoto was working with photostream and now it will not connect at all.
    I ran fix disk permissions and once it showed up in iphoto, photostream was loading and then it disappeared again.

    FWIW I fixed mine when I realised I'd probably downloaded iPhoto using an AppleID from the App Store but logged into iCloud with a different AppleID. I deleted iPhoto and it's related files (but not the iPhoto Library) using CleanApp, entered the App Store with my usual AppleID and downloaded iPhoto again. Once the App Store, the downloaded iPhoto and iCloud logins were the same iPhoto Stream worked again.

    I've got some errors after upgrading my CRS 4.0.4SR1 cluster to 4.0.5SR2.
    First my publisher's status stay in "patch" status for near 2 days now. I'm not able to change anything in the configuration, i've got this message "Config Changes are not allowed during 'Patch' operation, which was started by  '_ccbu_build' at 'Thu Apr 08 04:31:04 CEST 2010 '. Please try again after  'Patch' is complete."(ERREUR02.jpg). How can I change this status?
    Then I've got errors in historical DB which is working but not on the publisher only on subscriber. How can I resynchronize this DB?

    You may check by supreuser account first to see if you got the same error.  If not, it probably just related to user authorization.  If yes, it must be a bug.

    Problems such as yours are sometimes caused by files that should belong to you but are locked or have wrong permissions. This procedure will check for such files. It makes no changes and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
    First, empty the Trash.
    Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
    Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it, then drag or copy it — do not type — into the Terminal window:
    find . $TMPDIR.. \( -flags +sappnd,schg,uappnd,uchg -o ! -user $UID -o ! -perm -600 -o -acl \) 2> /dev/null | wc -l
    Press return. The command may take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear.

  • Time Machine Error - After Upgrade To New Hard Drive

    I just upgraded from my previous 500 GB hard drive to a new 500 GB hard drive in my late 2008 unibody Macbook Pro. I have an external 500 GB hard drive that I use for my Time Machine Backups also. I used CCC to clone my original hard drive to the new internal one and everything went just fine.
    I also deleted all my Time Machine backups from the external so I could just create a new one after the upgrade and cleared all the trash bins too. But now when I try and create the Time Machine backup, it gives an error that 592 GB is needed to create the initial backup, even though it is only from a 500 GB drive (of which only 440 GB) is being used. I wouldn't think this would be a possible error. Can anyone offer some help, or did I just shoot myself in the foot? Thanks.

    Agreeing with Kappy, TM needs 2-3 times the size of the data it's backing-up. See #1 in the Frequently Asked Questions *User Tip,* also at the top of this forum.
    The reason this backup is failing is, TM adds 20% to the estimated size of the backup when requesting space on the backup disk, for temporary workspace and in case the estimate is low. So your 440 GB will require, temporarily, 528 GB.
    Short term, you can wrangle a backup by excluding something large, at least 90 GB, (so TM will only request, say, 410 GB + 82 GB for the first backup). Then remove the exclusion and run another, and it should fit.
    Longer term, you really do need a larger drive.

    We removed in the preferences everything about autostart programs.
    Yet it still happens.
    Also a problem is the popup windows "reopen windows when logging back in".
    I found a lot on information from 2011 how you can turn this off in the preferences in general but in our 2013 10.8.5 Version there is no possibility anymore to remove a tick in preferences/general to turn this off.
    What happens?
    We do nothing and have to confirm this popup window (annoying) or have to wait 60 secs.
    Or, we remove the tick and then we get error message after error message because every program in the Dock must be closed separately.
    The next problem for example is the missing scroll bar.
    It's almost not anymore possible to use the computer.
    Never you know anymore if there is a 2nd page (for example in the applications where the half is now missing because they are on a 2nd page) and you can never navigate on a bigger document or webpage because you have to click first with the mouse in the page to move up and down with the arrow buttons from the keyboard and where is really a webpage with so much free space (without adds) to click "somewhere" without to activate "something"?
    After a long time with hardware problems (new macbook pro had a damaged USB port from the beginning and we got in 2011 an old stock model from 2010 which makes problems with having to organise extensions later like RAM or so) and a few nasty problems with software (the 1 year old macbook pro was "tooold" to visit with per safari every webpage and the new safari was only to use for a newer OS. Solution was a Firefox Browser. First with 10.8.5 we got a functional Safari back) we thought we are now with 10.8.5 on the secure side and now we get such annoying problems.

  • SSL Error after upgrading to Windows 8.1

    After upgrade my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, I got this SSL Error when I tried to go to "https://google.com":

    For the issue, it can happen for a wide variety of reasons.
    I suggest we try the following methods to narrow down the issue.
    Method 1.
    Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state:
    In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
    Click the Content tab, and then click Clear SSL state.
    Method 2.
    Press Win+X, and then click Command Prompt(Admin).
    At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow, and then press ENTER.
    Method 3.
    Press Win+R, type regedit in the box, and then press ENTER.
    Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl
    On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.
    Type FEATURE_ERROR_PAGE_BYPASS_ZONE_CHECK_FOR_HTTPS_KB950067 to name the new registry subkey, and then press ENTER.
    On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
    Type iexplore.exe to name the new registry entry, and then press ENTER.
    On the Edit menu, click Modify.
    Type 1, and then click OK.
    Exit Registry Editor.
    If the issue persists, I suggest you reinstall the IE to check the result.

  • Look-up error after Upgrade

    Hi,
    The R/3 system  in our project was upgraded from 4.6 c to ECC 6. After the upgrade we are facing issues with the lmapping look -up.
    We have used RFC channel to  do look up and and java codes which calls the RFC and dose parsing.
    Right now after upgrade , there is no error in the channel ...but the XI is not able to do retrive value from the new system.
    for the values it says , it does not exsist in the look-up table, although that is not true, the values are there in the system.
    can you advice what went wrong and what steps should i take .

    Did you checked that RFC is working fine in R/3 itself and try to post the same request and check
    other options can be debugging by setting external break point
    If above wont works check the roles if any required for executing RFC remotely

  • Cannot create Site Collection in new Webapplication after upgrade to SP1

    Hello,
    after upgrading my SharePoint Server 2013 (small Farm with one SP and one SQL) I am not able to create new site collections in new web application. Furthermore I am facing trouble when creating a new web application which I suspect is a connected problem.
    Environment:
    SharePoint 2013 ENU with german language pack upgraded to SharePoint 2013 SP1. Both parts are upgraded (SharePoint and Language pack). Afterwards I have done a psconfigui to upgrade the DB which works fine. Only one DB (BDC is still running in compatibility
    mode).
    Everything is running on a single server on Windows Server 2012.
    Problem(s)
    When I create a new web application it tooks a very long time (3 + minutes) and ends with an error message (Sorry something went wrong !). If I close this message I can see the new web application and also its content DB. If I then try to add a new site
    collection into this new web application it fails (Sorry something went wrong).
    I suspect this is a connected error, but I have now idea what is going on. Everythings else seems to work...
    Any idea or support would be great.

    You can get issues if you hit a time out message during the creation process. How does it work if you create a site collection using PowerShell?

    We done upgrading our Domain Controllers to 2012 R2 Version, and after upgrade i can't use ActiveDirectory  module outside my DC
    When i\m trying to run  Import-Module ActiveDirectory on my Windows 7 desktop i get error:
    WARNING: Error initializing default drive: 'Unable to contact the server. This may be because this server does not
    exist, it is currently down, or it does not have the Active Directory Web Services running.'.
    ( But if i start it as Domain Admin on the same PC - all is OK. Permissions for my account is ok - i think - checked by: Get-PSSessionConfiguration on DC's ). When it was 2008 R2 DC's - all was fine
    How can i fix this issue? ( i think this is access rights by i cannot manage where... )
