SSL Error after upgrading to Windows 8.1

After upgrade my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, I got this SSL Error when I tried to go to "https://google.com":

I have did some research and tried to change my system time up to date, reset my modem and use wireshark to see if anybody is tracking my network, but none of them seem to be the problem.
Anyone can help me? Thanks a lot...
EDIT: I have checked my browsers and just figure out that every connection from my computer is not able to connect to any SSL connection, for example Yahoo Messenger login. I'm thinking my computer SSL Certificate got serious problem, is
there anyway to "reset" it?

For the issue, it can happen for a wide variety of reasons.
I suggest we try the following methods to narrow down the issue.
Method 1.
Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state:
In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Content tab, and then click Clear SSL state.
Method 2.
Press Win+X, and then click Command Prompt(Admin).
At the command prompt, type sfc /scannow, and then press ENTER.
Method 3.
Press Win+R, type regedit in the box, and then press ENTER.
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Key.
Type FEATURE_ERROR_PAGE_BYPASS_ZONE_CHECK_FOR_HTTPS_KB950067 to name the new registry subkey, and then press ENTER.
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type iexplore.exe to name the new registry entry, and then press ENTER.
On the Edit menu, click Modify.
Type 1, and then click OK.
Exit Registry Editor.
If the issue persists, I suggest you reinstall the IE to check the result.

5. Select the Driver tab.
6. Click Update Driver.
7. Click Search automatically for updated driver software.
8. An AMD driver should be found and installed.
The driver that originally caused this problem is AMD display driver version 15.200.1046.2 dated 7/15/2015.
The driver installed through this process might have an older date, such as 15.200.1055.0 dated 7/6/2015. That's okay.

I'm having the same problem. I got error message 21. I went to apple store. they are saying i have a hardware error. Really, my phone was working before the update. Asked me for $150 to get another one when I am due to get a new one and wanted to pass this one on to my child.

Satellite L675D: Blue Screen error after upgrading to Windows 8

I've recently upgraded my Toshiba laptop to Windows 8 and every time I use it, after 5-10 minutes, I get a blue screen page of error and the laptop restarts.
The problem is really annoying.
I've discovered that if I don't plug in the battery charger, the laptop works normally, but I'd like to solve the problem properly.
What should I do?

Windows 8 drivers for Satellite L675D dont exist on Toshiba EU driver page. The L675D series does not support Windows 8.
However, even if the drivers are not available and Windows 8 is not supported, it should not be a big problem to run this system on the Satellite L675D.
You said that you simply updated the Win 7 to Win 8.
Maybe you should try a clean installation of Windows 8?
I think its worth a try in case its an software problem.
By the way: I assume this kind of problem did not appear using Windows 7. Right?

HP MediaSmart error after upgrading to Windows 7

I recently upgraded my HP IQ816 from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed all Windows 7 software updates from HP's website. Everything works great except the HP MediaSmart application. HP Update repeatedly notifies me that an "HP MediaSmart DVD Application Update" for Windows 7 is required. When I attempt to install the update, I receive the following error message: "Error!! The product defination file lost." Attempts to update this software from directly within the MediaSmart application results in the same error. I've tried uninstalling MediaSmart altogether. The same error appears and the product will not uninstall. Downloading and installing the update directly from Cyberlink returns the same error. HP refuses to help since I changed the OS that shipped with their machine and I've been unable to find a solution anywhere else on the internet. Many thanks in advance for the suggestions and help!

Ok try this,...
1. Download and SAVE this update to your computer
HP MediaSmart DVD Application Update
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software11/COL31151/pv-77263-1/sp44452.exe
This is the HP Vista x64 driver (I know its windows 7 your on, Vista drivers are compatible)
2. Install winrar on your PC, please use google to find free download of winrar
3. Extract the sp44452.exe file contents using file explorer, do this by right click on the file you downloaded to your local hard drive and select "Extract to sp44452\..."
4. then move into the sp44452\src directory, you'll see file named HPMediaSmartDVD.exe, do the same, extract the contents of this file using file explorer and "Extract to HPMediaSmartDVD\..."
5. Ok now, you move to sp44452\Source\HPMediaSmartDVD\hp\tmp\src directory and run setup.exe from there
6. You should be right as rain now... Enjoy, if it works I expect kudos since HP Support haven't been able to help...

Error after upgrading to Windows 10

MyCloud was just fine with my computer (Windows 8.1) but after I upgraded the same computer to Windows 10, the computer can no longer recognise it on the network. It is still reachable through the internet IP 192.168.1.5 I can use the dashboard but it cannot be recognised by the computer. The WD discovery tool does recognise the networked Mycloud but the windows that pops up shows the Map and Browse Network options in gray color (inactive). Any suggestions?

Good to see it fixed itself. One setting that can block Windows 10 from seeing the WD My Cloud and other devices/computers on the network is the "network location type". During the upgrade or install to Windows 10 one may not quite understand what they are reading when, or if, asked which kind of network they are connecting to. If they select "no" on that particular screen (example below), Windows 10 will block access to certain local devices possibly including the WD My Cloud. I can print anything else from either the Desktop or Start but not a PDF. No error message but just does not print.
Update: down loaded Adobe Reader which runs on the desktop so when I read a PDF file it now runs on the desktop and I can print it.

Can't print in PSE11 after upgrading to windows 8.1

I have just upgraded from Windows8 to 8.1 and now can't print in PSE11. For some reason can in PSE7

I can print from other programs but not PSE. I have updated the drivers. I have attached 3 screen shots with error messages.

Networking Issues after Upgrading to Windows 8.1

I have a Windows 8 desktop PC that is working fine with my network. I can browse the Internet fine using all major browsers etc. After upgrading to Windows 8.1 through the Windows Store I noticed that my wired networking was not working correctly.
The status of the network does not change (i.e. it doesn't change to Limited Connectivity) however browsing to sites in Chrome, IE or Firefox doesn't work as well as Windows 8.
IE11 gives me the error "This page can't be displayed, make sure the web address is correct" and other browsers give a similar error. I normally have to refresh 2-3 times to get a new page to load, sometimes even more. Everything works
fine from a laptop connected at the same time so it isn't an network issue with my provider.
I thought this might be a driver issue with the two on-board Marvell wired network adapters. I wasn't able to rollback the driver to older versions I found on the Internet. I then purchased another network card, Intel Desktop gigabit and the
issue still persists with that adapter. I then tried a USB wireless adapter and the issue still persists using wifi with the wired adapters disabled. I tried a new network cable and no luck either. I also tried resetting the IP stack using
the various netsh commands.
After that I thought I might try reset the Windows 8.1 PC, however that didn't work as I didn't have the restore image available as I upgraded from the Windows Store. I then tried installing Windows 8.1 fresh using a ISO with my Windows 8 key using
some of the recent guides that are available. That all worked but it didn't fix the networking issues.
I re-installed Windows 8.0 and the networking is now fixed and back to working normal again. I'd like to try again but I think I will have the same problems. I can't imagine why this would be a driver issue as I tried 3 different network adapters
and two installs of Windows 8.1. Any ideas what would be the cause of the Windows 8.1 issue?

Since this issue only occurred in the your desktop PC, and many network adapters you tried, failed, thus I think maybe we should focus on the model of your desktop PC, I suggest you update the BIOS and chipset from the manufacture to improve
the performance of win8.1.
Please also test this issue in safe mode with networking.

The issue occurs in safe mode as well under Windows 8.1. The motherboard is an Asus P5B Premium, however it works on Windows 8. How would I update the chipset when booted into Windows 8.1? In Device Manager it wasn't allowing me to update
the network drivers as they were newer versions already installed.
Edit: I also installed at Intel Chipset Device software dated 8/8/2013 with version 9.4.0.1026 and the issue still occurs. I am also running the latest BIOS that is available.

Have you checked in the Device Manager to see if all drivers are installed since upgrading? (look for yellow exclamation points)
Uninstall the AMD driver and catalyst control center. Install the version located in the download section of the web support portal for your sleekbook.It will install both driver (intel and AMD) and also switchable graphics capability if it previously existed.

You will need to identify your CPU and chipset. CPU-z is a free and safe utility that can do that for you.
If your system has an Intel chipset with disccrete or onboard graphics or an NVIDIA chipset with onboard graphics, then the drivers are here at this Realtek download page.
If your notebook is an AMD CPU and NVIDIA chipset, with a discrete graphics module installed, then the driver for your Conexant CX20549-12 will be here.
Post you results here in your thread so others rsearching for the same information can benefit from it.

No Audio Output after Upgrading to windows 7; Soundblaster Card is installed

After upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit), I found that my speakers (which are built into my HP w2207 monitor) are not recognized. In the notification area I have the speaker with a red x in it, and it says “No Audio Output Device is installed”.
I have a HP Pavilion D4890Y with the Sound Blaster Audigy X-FI 24-Bit Xtreme sound card. I tried looking in Device Manager, and found “Multimedia Audio Controller” under Other, which states no drivers could be found.
I tried following some of the advice online, and downloaded the latest Realtek High Definition Audio drivers, but and the download seems to run successfully, but I don’t notice any differences. When I reboot as prompted, I’ve still got the same error.
I then tried forcing the Audio Device to use a Realtek driver, but Windows protests (saying it’s not sure it’s compatable with my device, and I end up with “Realtek High Definition Audio” under “Sound, video and game controllers”, but it has a yellow exclamation point. If I click properties, the device status says “This device cannot start (Code 10).” If I try to update the driver I get the message that it cannot find the driver software.   If I uninstall the driver I’m back to the original problem (multimedia audio controller under original devices, with no known drivers).
I also tried downloading various files from the Creative site, but it’s not clear which one to use, and the 4 or 5 different ones I tried (including their recommended beta version for Windows 7), when each of them opens it says it can’t find any supported devices.

"If the driver is a previous revision install it using the TROUBLESHOOT COMPATIBILITY tool that is part of the Windows 7 OS.
To use the tool, uninstall any drivers for the sound card you show listed in Control Panel/Programs/Uninstall Programs  list.  Delete the Device from Device Manager.
Download the revision of the driver from www.creative.com  website to a folder you've created and placed on your desktop.
After the driver is downloaded, navigate to the "setup.exe" of the driver and Right Click - select Troubleshoot Compatibility  ----
Let the compatibility tool select a possible solution then use its suggestion of TRY RECOMMENDED WINDOWS SETTINGS, if it does not find a solution it will submit only CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS and let you install it as you designate."
The preceding information comes from a Microsoft Windows 7 forum regarding an issue similar to yours.
the information you provided did verify that it is a sound blaster XiFi Extreme card as checked against the Vendor / Device list.

Can't install cc-patches after upgrading to windows 8.1

Hi Adobe-Team,
after upgrading to windows 8.1. I can't install updates and patches of the creative cload programms. I'm able to uninstall programms. I'm able to install programms, but i cant't patche them. Got this message: "Installation erfolgreiche, aber Fehler beim Patch (U44M1I210). I've no idea what to try further more.

Error Code: U44M1I210 means failed to extract the downloaded ZIP file of update.
Please follow the instructions specified on following kb doc and see if it helps -

My HP LaserJet 1536 Scanner will not work after upgrading to Windows 10

I just upgraded to Windows 10, and now the scanner will not work, although I can still print. I downloaded the latest driver, but this does not seem to help. The error message I get states that scanner communication cannot be established. Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

Greetings , I saw your post regarding the problems you are having with scanning after upgrading to windows 10.
I would start with the simple, have you tried just restarting the computer? Have you made sure your computer has all of it's windows updates? How can I tell if my computer is up to date? Most products do have updated software available for Windows 10, did you install the correct driver?HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver I've also seen a few posts that say the Windows 8.1 driver will work for Windows 10 as well, so you could try that too.  HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. I recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, if it doesn't fix it automatically let me know what errors or messages you receive.  Do you know if you are able to scan using Paint? (It's the same for Windows 10, from what I've been told)Right-click the Start button () in the lower left corner of the screen, click Search, and then type ...Click Paint in the results.Click File, and then click From scanner or camera.Select your printer, click OK, and then click Scan. No Camera After upgrade to windows 10

HII have MIIX 2 10.After upgrading to windows 10 everything works fine But I have no camera.If I try to activate the camera application I get an error - no device found. HIDriver Fixed.You cannot install only the camera driver because there are decencies between other drivers and issue continues to be the same. Even the driver version doesn't change.When installing the entire package will get a notice that you are installing an older version of driver. Just confirm and when told so – reboot. Camera now works and I can't see any other problems. Many thanks for your advice.Chaim

ICloud Group contacts disappeared after upgraded to Windows 8.1.

After upgrading to Windows 8.1 received message "The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened." When opening the iCloud contacts in Outlook 2010. I performed the fix of signing out of the iCloud control panel and back in to resolve the above error message and was able to access my addresses. However, all of the iCloud Group contacts disappeared from Outlook and from iCloud. Is there any way to restore the iCloud contacts back to a point when the Group contacts still existed.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP ENVY 14t-1200 CTO Beats Edition Notebook PC and issues after an Windows 8.1 update. I recommend to restore the BIOS defaults.You could restore the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings which should resolve the fan issue.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system. If the drivers are not updated this could cause this same issue.
If that does not help at the end of the document it shows you to do a hardware test.
Please note remove any and all USB devices before troubleshooting. Disconnect all non-essential devices
